[Q] P3100 on Changelog - General Omni Discussion

I realized that P3100 Galaxy Tab 2 GSM isn't on the changelog.
Was wondering on why is this so.
P3100 is officially support by OMNI already

[Q] Cornerstone for Galaxy Note

Is there Something like cornerstone for a Galaxy Note Rom?
Cornerstone will be integrated in CynogenMod ROM which will soon be available for the Galaxy Note. In fact an alpha version is already available.

Awesome! Would love to see three screens on my note. Do you have link to the alfa version?
Check this link - it's really only an experimental build and i'm not sure this is really usable... but if you're interested, check the thread:

Is it possible to flash a 10.1 rom on a 8.9 tab?

Hey guys,
I have a galaxy tab 8.9 3G/wifi P7300 (P5) running ICS 4.0.4 AOKP R29 Galaxian Soup version. I was hoping to update to the official AOKP R31 however on AOKP's download page they don't have the tab 8.9 p7300 version of the rom.
I was wondering would it be possible to use the tab 10.1 P7500 (P4) AOKP R31 rom and flash it on my tab 8.9 instead? Would it work our end up breaking my tab?
Thanks,
Jak
No you can't and yes trying to do so will brick your tab.
Thank you Instant Gravy. I guess I'll stick with this rom then.
Does anyome know if there is a official AOKP rom for the P7300?

No I mean I thought the devs wanted people to wait for releases until more stuff was settled...
I slogged my way through the build errors on my device... seems some display thing is preventing it from booting. Or something in the RAMdisk I spose - it's just not booting, and there is no adb

C'mon guys this is xda-developers. If you want to build, have at it! We're here to help.
But endless "what about my device" posts are really quite useless. Either build it yourself, or wait patiently until someone does.
I know, I'm asking too much aren't I.....

Where in the world did the thanks button go...
I9000 and I9100, along with any other Samsung device with unified recovery and kernel in a single image (without the FOTAKernel trick used on Sonys), are going to need some significant rework of the recovery build process. Until building TWRP on userdebug builds is fixed, these devices will only be usable if you create an eng build.
So it'll probably be at least a week or two before any of the "single unified kernel" Samsungs can be worked on as there are some nasty blockers we need to fix.

Damn good question.
I'll toy with my S3 I747 and see if I can get something to boot. What do you mean by "unified recovery and kernel in a single image"? I've never seen anything like that for the S3 (unless the S3 just happens to not have the same problem)
