Questions about Nexus 6

As the title says, i need to know since i wont find anything anywhere.
Next month ill be buying the Nexus 6 comming from a note 3
Whats the difference in model number? Eg XT1100, XT1103
International and US version of the phone.
Is there any hardware specific modem changes that i should be aware of before buying it?
Does it matters to me? (Living in Sweden)
Are all custom roms compatible with both model numbers?
Thanks in advance.
International model (XT1100) is made for GSM, as networks in the developed world are all GSM.
N. America model (XT1103) is backwards-compatible with CDMA2000, and also supports some LTE bands unique to the US (Sprint & Verizon, mostly).
Unless noted otherwise by the dev, all the roms here are supported on both models.

The 1103 US version has a different radio chip wich supports different LTE bands then the 1100 World (including EU) version.
Custom ROMs work on both models. No hardware changes (SD805 and 3GB RAM on both).
Only the radio hardware is different.
The XT1103 supports CDMA from the stone-age, don't know why the americans (VZW/Sprint) haven't moved on yet.
The XT1100 supports the required LTE bands to be used in Sweden. Most likely the common EU Bands (Band 3/Band 7/Band 20).
The XT1103 supports 3 and 7, but not 20 which is the main LTE band in European countries.

Flash N. American ROM to European Model for 4G in the U.S.?

I live in Europe most of the time but am periodically back in the U.S. for months at a time. The different OnePlus 3T models support different 4G bands.
I'm wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to flash a ROM for the N. American model to a European model in order to get 4G support in the U.S.? In other words, are the 4G bands a matter of hardware or software?
There are no different ROMs for American, Chinese and European OxygenOS. Only difference is in the factory bundled encrypted modem partitions which contains the IMEI and regional band frequencies lock-down as to not anger military or other organizations that may be using those bands in those countries.
Network support is mediated by a mix of hardware and software. Unfortunately, flashing a ROM will not be able to enable greater comparability. It supposedly is possible to flash radio images, which typically isn't changed during ROM updates, though it is a bit sketchy and can only unlock a few bands. You can read up on it here:

Some bands are in both. Maybe it's enough for you.

Does US Unlocked Phones (Galaxy S8 and Note 8) Support 4G TDD LTE Bands?

I am interested in buying US version (Snapdragon) of factory unlocked Note 8. However, it's full specs on network/radio bands are not listed yet even on Samsung official site.
I looked in full specs for Galaxy S8 unlocked (SM-G950UZKAXAA) vs carrier version such as Galaxy S8 for T-mobile (SM-G950UZKATMB), and noticed that carrier versions all listed support for 4G TDD LTE: B38(2600),B39(1900),B40(2300),B41(2500), while unlocked version does not. As the screenshots show.
So will Note 8 unlocked (Snapdradon) also be missing the 4G TDD LTE bands (B38, B39, B40, B41)?
Or maybe the specs listed on Samsung official site are not accurate and unlocked also supports those bands? Wishful thinking.
4G TDD LTE is used in some countries like China. So anyone with unlocked S8 on tmobile traveled to China can confirm if 4G data worked in China with t-mobile SIM?
If the unlocked phone only has the benefit to switch carriers in US but has limited band support internationally, then I will have to think twice.
Yeah I was trying to figure this out as well. So far, from other sites, I have seen mix messages. One site FrequencyCheck.com states that it does have those bands and other show them is missing...not sure which one is correct. Also, for other sites I have seen that the T-Mobile version also has 3G TD-SCDMA: B34(2010), B39(1880) and the unlocked version has 3G CDMA: 800/1900. I really can not make heads or tails of this information....is it correct, who is wrong??? I called Samsung that they don't have the information yet, so I don't know either way. I'm leaning to go with the Unlocked by Samsung version, but I am in the same boat with regards to this matter.
Looks like it, i have a Unlocked verdion of the phone.

Model numbers/regions - which is which?

My Red Magic 3 arrived yesterday, must say very speedy delivery, 3 days only DHL express to Australia which was excellent.
I'm having trouble identifying the different models though, I've seen reference to a Chinese (CN), Global, EU but also 'NA' versions?
Not sure if some are the same thing? I'm concerned as from what I can tell, the EU version doesn't have LTE Band 28 (which I want) but the NA version does and I'm not sure what version I have other than it was branded NX629J.

Can anyone assist please?

Yes but the LTE bands can make a big difference! Two of the major Australian mobile carriers use Band 28 so I'm trying to work out which version of the Red Magic 3 I have and if it has that band.

There is two version of global rom
Us is version 1.11
Europe version is 2.07
Well I have NA version but running EU Rom v2.09....when I run the CN Rom I don't get LTE just 4g. So if you not getting LTE then install your region global Rom.
LTE bands are a hardware limitation, not software, so it won't matter what rom I'm running.
I'm just trying to find out if my model has band 28 or not!

In theory software and hardware, I will tell you In US on CN Rom no LTE just 4g....but on either Global I Get LTE.

Question Flash Korean snapdragon firmware to G998U1 to change available 5G bands

Hello,
can I flash the Korean snapdragon firmware to an American model (G998U1)?
If yes, will this change the available 5G bands to the ones in Korea? Thanks.
Korean model is Exynos this year.
Also, from reading the specs on Samsung Korea's Web site, it only supports N78 & N77 Sub6 bands
https://www.samsung.com/sec/smartphones/galaxy-s21-ultra-5g/specs/
Yesterday I tried flashing my U1 with a Taiwanese firmware and it did not succeed. I'm having the same issues with bands. Where I am they are using bands B3 + B20 for carrier aggregation. So right now I am only able to get LTE and not LTE-Advanced. I guess I'm missing some sort of profile? Because the phone does support these bands.

Unlikely, since dark11b said he tried Taiwan and it didn't work.
I think Taiwan & Hong can be cross flashed, but not with American models, for some reason.
