Adventure Time-- Card Wars GEMS HELP! - App Stores

Hello! I know there are 2 threads relating to Adventure Time Card Wars, but the solutions posted are the exactly the same and they do not work. I have a rooted LG G2X and the game.json file does absolutely nothing!!!
Even with using stuff like GameKiller, you realize looking for single digit gems, like 5 or 4 gems, is bound to give you 900+ results. And then trying to spend your gem to match the new result still does not solve anything. It still gives you 900+ results.
Need a better way to go about editing the gems! Please help!

Hey all,
I see lots of people making roms for the wizard, but my search for tools to start doing this on my own has come very short. Can anyone suggest how I can get started making my own roms? I have done quite a few exhaustive searches on here, google, and buzzdev with little to no success.. all I've really found are old posts, dead links, and unanswered forum posts.
Please at least point me in the right direction, I have a lot outdated knowledge from when I used to test ppc2k3 devices for Symbol Technologies, and I would like to try the other end of what I was working with... I look forward to your responses and hope someone out there is willing to assist

Awsome, Just after I posted this thread I found that post, I am glad that you were able to confirm that it was a valid one.
Now, as far as testing your roms, do you typically put your devices in harms way, or do you have some kind of emulator that you use to test?
Is there some kind of comprehensive "How to" somewhere on MSDN or some other forum, or did everyone here just blindly poke around till they figured stuff out? (Which I am in favor of doing if necessary)
I just want to make sure that I can get myself as educated as possible without turning my device into a 6.2 ounce paperweight. I love the kinds of contributions people make here and I would love to be able to make my own contributions one day

Don't worry about bricking the phone... as long as you don't flash ipl/spl you can always put the phone back into bootloader mode and reflash a rom that works...

ok so I downloaded a billion tools... but where do I get a base rom to start with? I decided a best bet would be to download the HTC shipped rom off their site, but that uses an NBF file, and all of these tools reference an NBA file, as a matter of fact every "rom" file I have found has an NBF file in it... how does that happen?

i just got my upgrade, to the att HTC tilt 2 (opened the box today). when i upgrade i always research, i read about software issues to stock units and a couple ppl spoke of mods. i don't know the language of mods, but i learn fast. i need to know a few basic terms, procedures and what i need to speed up and stop the error msgs i have gotten multipule times just today. which mods are the most user friendly and least glitchy. thank you to all in advance.

look around in the rom sections and use the "search" function without hesitation.
also search around before posting a question or request, to avoid reposts and nuisances.

Heya Hippie! And congrats on a great device. I've had my Tilt 2 for about 9 months now and just keep loving it more and more. What are you looking to do to the fone besides stop the error messages? Lemme know, I can give you any help you need. Or you can email me directly or leave me a message on here. I've learned what to look for and also to watch out for, but as anyone here will tell you, we all have differences of opinions, likes and dislikes. Also depending on your taste and how far you'd like to go with your device will vary how far we can go. To get rid of any error messages, which one I can guarantee says: need NETCF.Messages.EN.wm.cab (May not include the ".cab") That's one I ran into a lot before I got a ROM from the threads here. I promise you Hippie, anything you may need will most likely be here on XDA-Developers. This is a great site with many awesome people. As the previous post mentions, use the search at the top. It will help you a great deal!!

I found on the HTC website that they recomend replacing touchflo 3d with sense, which i did and thought i'd give it a try. error messages are gone but it still has a few things i don't like about it. so i think i may try something new when i get the time to. i see your configurations and i think i'll start there, seeing how you are happy with it. then i'll go from there if i want to try something else

Can anyone point me to a good source on where to find general layout id's. I have put together a great theme with Gimp but since I changed things like navbar and clock widget all the button,divider, and other misc. Don't line up or in wrong area all together.
Need serious help only plz. I only say this because as a whole most people here are awesome with advice. But for the ones that want to just suggest search Google and things like that, don't I have spent hundreds of hours getting this far.
I would like to get this completed asap, so spending time searching though literally 100's of threads would cause me to just give up and I'm so close to getn it so thanks in advance

Not sure if OS related question (or just stupid(ignore this )) or phone related question, move if I'm wrong, and my next question is where are the save profiles of games I've played, particularly this one called Defender. I'm trying to edit the savegame to add like cash and other cool stuff could anyone help me out.

Each game saves it in a different directory on your sdcard. I'd check for a folder with the name of your game, the name of the company that made the game, or anything that relates to the game. I haven't played it personally, but maybe someone who knows can provide the exact folder name.

You have it on your phone; I do not. I told you how to find it. I couldn't find it for you since, if I were to look for the game files on my phone, they would not be there. But if they were, that is how I would find them. So I suggest you take 5 seconds out of your oh-so-busy day and look for them. I promise it won't be scary. You'll be fine, just wear a helmet.

One of my free themes has made a very drastic rise in downloads. I am a new developer and am having a little difficulty in getting discovered. I was averaging only a 2-10 downloads a day on this particular app. Then about a week or two ago they jumped to 50-70 downloads a day. But, in the past three days I have gotten around 2000 or more, about 650-690 downloads a day. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on things I could try to find out what has caused this dramatic increase. I can't pin point what I may have done differently because I'm constantly trying different things and reaching out along with researching and such. I know the downloads are coming from somewhere, just unsure as to where. Any suggestions?

Can't you use Google analytics to find out how the people find your app (like this)? Just for interest sake, what app was it? And why aren't just happy about that, I would love to have such a jump in downloads

Google Analytics, to my understanding, has to be implemented into the apk. Forgive me if that's not correct, it shows how much I actually know. And I am so very happy about my download rise, that is why I'm trying to investigate how this happened so I can do it for my other themes that are currently listed and for future apparently as well.

I would guess after the initial jump you got into the "trending" list on the google play store, giving you exposure to a much larger userbase
