Hi,
I've found a HERO ROM (modded from Legend 2.1). As you see below the Theme is also modded and is really fantastic (at least for me ). İs it possible to pull this Theme from this ROM and push it to Villain 5.1.? Or is there a another way to use this theme on our HERO's.?
Explanation from the author;
- Change the application Meteo for the screen of the home court
- Change the application to have the Music wallpaper home court
- Change the wallpaper lockscreen
- Removing the background in menu Rosie

there are some older metamorph thermes for the hero .... or "normal" custom rom themes in this section ... clear as bell is one of them .. the transparent rosie ... hmm ... there is somewhere in this forum a thread with an tutorial how to change this ... ( you have to use the sdk tool )
i like the kind of "odck bar " on the bottom of sense .... where can i get this ???

i used this theme a while ago, no graphical glitches, runs smoove and almost perfetct ( is used it with modacco )
dont know if its working with 2.1 based custom roms

I just installed the ROM and it works fast and smooth. The theme works awsome. Now i'm uploading the ROM & thx a lot for your tips.

yes it's a 2.1 ROM. But i just want to know how to get the Theme from it.
This is my first thread ever in XDA.. I felt that it is inappropriate to post this on mebitek's/kittenlinux's and official CM7 threads so I made a new one here.. So here we go..
I used UOT kitchen for transparency support for framework-res/systemui so you can use themes that supports transparency and enabled the soft buttons.. WOOOOOT! The commotion on soft buttons in Pure CM7.2 builds is now over!..

ALSO WORKS ON MEBITEK 10-01-2012 BUILD
This might the last update I am going to make since we don't have a device maintainer for our device for official CM7 and the builds we are getting are just maintenance builds that will not affect the framework/systemui, unless there are major changes submitted in github. Plus, I lost my mini as you can see on my sig.. So, I cannot test the new update. I made an undo zip just in case it won't work. Let me know if it works though..

will try to fix the size of the default ones.. for now, use themes that have soft button pngs like the one I used.. other themes that have the same cool soft buttons are bluemiui, greenmiui, redmiui, blackmiui.. you can check it out on the themes section thread by freakyfriday..

not sure.. but you can try.. just create an undo.zip.. replace framework-res and systemui apks on the zips from ktux's build..
will also try to replace the default soft buttons with the ones on the screenshots once I have sorted them out..

this soft button can flash in kittenlinux build , you should to rename your topic to " soft button for cm7 "

Yeah.. they are not cm7 default soft buttons coz the default ones kinda look ugly and not have transparent background. I can resize the original one for you but not now..

sorry buddy but I think it needs to be coded on stock but I'm not a dev.. what I basically did is enable a setting in CM7 and change some pngs..

Based on latest firmware XXLF3.
Permament CWM when u flash the ROM.
This ROM is for GT-S5830i only. DO not flash on GT-S5830 It will brick your phone. Other models same as GT-S5830i make Backup and test if it works report here.
How to install the ROM:
1) Download the ROM from the link below.
2) Place it in SD Card.
3) Reboot and apply Clockwork Mod Recovery.
4) Then in CWM do the following:
a) wipe data/factory reset
b) wipe cache
c) Go to Advanced > wipe dalvik cache.
5) Now install zip from sd card.
6) Choose the ROM zip file and wait untill installation finishes.
7) Reboot and ENJOY GingerAce

Is in the rom including CWM with not working backup/restore or other CWM?

Great rom..its really quick and light on resources. Iam nt a huge fan of LP so i removed it and installed holo launcher instead. Works great.
2 things i noticed..
1. There is no way to change the wallpaper of the lockscreen.
2. Many of the default audio sounds are missing. Were they removed intentionally?

audio sounds hd been removed by me in simplicity. So it wil nt b in dis rom as well.
Flashed without any problems, but I´m facing network problems. My ace is S5830M, firmware WHLA1 I know it doesn´t matter since rom are compatible with every firmware, but any idea on why i cant connect to network.
Edit.
Fixed, just need to stop data pack for a moment and it´ll catch the network. After that just restart data packs.

The CWM Backup/Restore feature works. You just shouldn't restore a backup made before you install the ROM with permanent CWM. Because It will restore the CWM and it wont be permament. Otherwise if u make a backup using the new CWM U can Restore it aswell.

1. That is because the default Gallery app is removed. You can maybe use Holo Locker as it adapts to your Homescreen wallpaper.
2. Yes I removed them because they take space and are useless. I usually use Zedge for those stuff
U can empty the hostfile and del some fonts too.
Nice work, but imho, a barebone shouldnt have a launcher.

I dwnloaded the gallery 3d app frm play shop bt i guess that is different frm d default gallery app? Although d luk and feel is pretty mch d same bt it doesnt have d option to manage lockscreen wallpaper.
I find holo locker to be snaggy. Its nt as smooth as d stock locker.

Guys, I think I will be moving this rom over to XXLA2 baseband. I will flash PDA.tar from raj. deodex it and try to move the rom on that Baseband.

sorry mate it can be done only on samsung based stock and custom roms,CM7 has this feature by default..i remember using this feature in cm7 on my Galaxy Ace

I found out that stock rom and kernel is the fastest and smooth kernel and rom build so far that's why I'm using stock

Flashing Guide
1.Download the rom and place it in the root of sdcard
2. Click here to download CWM for our device .Thanks to Milan.sis!
3 Put CWM-6102.zip in your sdcard root
4 Reboot to recovery using 3 button combo (Home Key+Volume Up Key + Power Key)
5. Select update from sdcard
6. Chose the CWM-6102.zip
7.CWM hould now appear
8.Wipe Data/Factory Reset
9.Select Apply update from sdcard
10.Select MIUI Duos.zip
11.Flashing should begin and complete successfully
12.Flash the necessary bugfixes.This step is important!!!!!!
13.Enjoy the MIUI experience....
Note:-There is no need for data wipe for flashing updates.

1.An Interesting bit of information....This rom was built completely on my phone using root explorer!

3.Plus...this is first release so many bugs are likely to be there..please dont mind.help me fix them instead
4.This rom has been tested and its working on stock kernel which i have included in the rom.I dunno about custom kernels as its not been tested.There is a high chance itll work.

All duos kernels will be supported...
@mrappbrain... I downloaded from your pm.. did you change something or is it same? Because I don't want to download again.. so please let me know if you changed something.. what was that updater-script? Was something wrong with that? And one doubt... you have added boot.img.. can I ask which kernel it is? The stock one I included in my stock rom?

I changed the updater script,name and added some new features.The kernel is stock one.

Its mostly stability improvements and new apps added.I also changed the boot animation.I dont think u need to download it again..just enjoy...

There is already technoduos which uses Xperia home as launcher and there is a Xperia NXT Mod

@op accidentally i delete boot.img file from the pack...will you give a link to it..i am unable to download whole file...pls help me..
Is this safe to flash this rom with boot.img...sorry but last time i bricked my phone for flashing a rom containing boot.img file...

yes.. its safe to do that with this.. as its boot.img from stock... if you deleted it.. replace it with other boot.img which is working for you.. it will work too.. boot.img is kernel.. so make sure its a working kernel file for y duos phone..

1. There is no sim card bar.
2. No status bar but it has miui bar.
3. Not a boot animation It showed only of Samsung.I flashed it on stock Rom only.
4. Application names are half hidden in down of icons.
5. So we can't call or msg from another sim (2)
After seen these props I just went to my backup

See bellow pic.its my stock Rom wit ur home.apk. So the problem is status bar missing.Try to fix it in ur Rom
