Philz Recovery 6.25.x is Recommended and what the instructions are for! Don't use 6.41.x+! Latest TWRP seems fine too
* READ THE FAQ IN THE SECOND POST!
* Make a nandroid backup
* Make sure your device is ♦BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED♦ S-On is fine
* Download ROM and put it on external sdcard
* Put device in bootloader mode
- - (Power+Volume Down if device off. If on, Power+Volume Up and soon as screen goes black switch from Volume Up to Volume Down)
* Enter Recovery and click 'Wipe Data/Factory Reset' and choose 'Clean To Install A New Rom'(wipe system/data/cache/dalvik)
* Find in Recovery "Install Zip" followed by "Choose Rom zip from sdcard or /storage/sdcard1 (Wherever you put the rom at)
* Select the Rom to install
* Proceed steps that Aroma installer gives
* Reboot device after finishing installation
* Select "No" to install recovery prompt if given
* Follow setup wizard and enjoy!

Q: If I'm on latest Sense firmware(4.4.4) can I flash this rom without flashing GPE firmware?
A: Yes you shouldn't have any problems and don't need to flash the firmware or convert your phone to GPE.
Q: Where can I get your recommened version of Philz Recovery?
A: You can find philz' recoveries here I recommend version 6.25 or 6.26 only.
Q: Why isn't wifi working?
A: Need to flash either latest GPE L firmware in this post, or Latest Sense firmware 4.16.xxxx.x. If you are S-ON however you will have to wait until you get latest Official OTA for your device as you cannot flash a different firmware unless you are S-OFF. If you still don't have wifi after firmware flash you need to clean your system/data(Not sdcard)/cache and reflash the rom.
Q: Flashed ROM with twrp and now stuck on HTC Logo
A: Twrp recovery sometimes needs the rom flashed twice in a row in order for it stick, Also try first mounting system partition in twrp before flashing.
Q: Rom is lagging
A: There are a few things to try if you experience lag in the rom.
1. Try enabling 'Developer Options' in the settings app(Tap build number 7 times in settings->About, then back out to main settings page you will see 'Developer Options' just above 'About', click it and scroll down until you see animations, set animations to 1.5x
2. Get a kernel app like trickstermod or kernel tweaker, set scheduler to deadline, set read ahead buffer size to 1024. Can also try a different governor like Interactive.
Q: If I flash the GPE Firmware how do I go back to Sense roms?
A: You need to get Sense firmware and flash it, that should cover it. If you still can't flash a sense rom try formatting system and data partitions in recovery, and if that doesn't fix it then flash a Sense RUU.
Q: Mobile data isn't working
A: Check your APN settings, sometimes not all the available options get automatically put in like mmsc for tmobile. SuperCID can help here.
Q: Titanium Backup isn't working, says I don't have root
A: Use the latest Titanium backup provided in this post or the beta that you can get from PlayStore.
Q: I don't have root
A: You more than likely *do* have root, just whatever app you have is not compatible. If you need to flash SuperSU then flash SuperSU-2.19 which can be found here.
Q: Can't access SDCard
A:
1.If you were on sense firmware originally and flashed the GPE L firmware you either need to format data partition in recovery or you can instead try to flash the latest sense 4.4.4 firmware from here and try installing the rom again.
2. You will need a terminal emulator from the PlayStore, rom toolbox should work as well, type the following into terminal emulator
su
restorecon -FR /data/media/0
--
3. Install and boot to twrp 2.8.0.1, Enable MTP, Backup your storage content to your pc, go to wipe option in twrp, format your storage and wipe your data, Reboot, setup your phone again and copy your stuff back.
Q: Says my storage(data partition) is encrypted and can't go any farther
A: Likely data partition corruption, can try multiple fixes here
1. Flash the 4.4.4 GPE RUU provided by Graffixnyc(You *will* lose Internal storage contents)
2. Go into twrp and do a factory reset, make sure you can format data(You *will* lose Internal storage contents)
3. Flash a stock recovery and do a factory reset
4. Go back to sense 4.4.4 firmware from here
Note: You will have to start over with flashing this firmware & rom if you RUU. If you factory reset you will need to just reflash this rom.

Just FYI, GPE isn't AOSP.. But its as close as you're gonna get from any oem

I told Flar earlier today about it as I tried it as soon as graffix uploaded, the module needs to either be hex edited or compiled against the GPe kernel. A workaround is to boot into recovery and do all your system changes via TWRP file manager or adb.
Links up! Only possible bug i've found is the rom may not be fully rooted. everything is there, but wasn't happening on the build before this one. If it's still not working, i'll get it fixed by next release along with the fixed kernel module for system rw :good:

And yeah thats the current fix for now, was hoping it was already fixed for this build but didn't get to double check.
Also missing the flashlight apk. Its attached here.
Will get that worked in too, and I have a couple other things to add in as well

If u don't like red warning and did flash Op Rogers firmware, quick fix it to close your eyes for 4 seconds, then open them, all will be fine!

Just wanted to report that updating to the latest 4.20.631.2 firmware and latest rom v35 fixed my wifi dropping issues and battery drain issues.
So if anyone has those issues I would recommend updating. Great work guys and thank you all

V35 gonna be the best one thus far!
I think it's the best HTC Lollipop 5.01 release. Very smooth base, not even the stock browser lags.
Should be awesome in SkyDragon form. But is it Kangproof? Hahaha

We are assuming that you are S-Off and SuperCID recommended. Right? If not, read carefully and ask lots of questions!
How do I install the SkyDragon Rom?
Download the latest SkyDragon Rom zip from the download section
Make sure to check that the MD5 checksum matches with the one posted on the download page
Place the zip file on your internal (virtual) SD card
Reboot your phone into recovery TWRP or CWM depending on what is recommended in OP with the specific Rom version
Make a backup of your current Rom
Select to install SkyDragon Rom in recovery and follow the instructions in Aroma installer always selecting full wipe to start the installation
Note: I always prefer to manually wipe cache, Dalvik cache, and data in recovery before starting the Rom installation. Trust me, this method does help prevent many issues.
How do I get into recovery?
Hold down power button and volume down at the same time.
Can I install themes and make custom mods?
We do not recommend themes and mods that are not included in the Rom or are not in the SD Hub. If you have any questions follow the main SkyDragon thread, read a few pages, and feel free to ask questions. Someone will be willing to help you. We have the best and friendliest Themers on board!
Can I install a custom kernel?
Yamil (Dragonesdenano) releases a specific Rom version to run optimally with the stock kernel
We now also have custom kernels! Created by acclaimed SkyDragon Dev HolyAngel. SD custom kernels may be included in Aroma at the time of release. Follow this thread for news and updates.
Does SkyDragon Rom include radio firmware, Hboot, recovery, etc.?
Never!
Will installing SkyDragon erase my SD card/internal memory?
No personal data stored on your internal memory will be affected by installing SkyDragon Roms. Photos, music and other files stored on your SD card will remain untouched. The most likely way to erase your internal storage is by flashing stock firmware updates (because they contain stock recovery), flashing incompatible kernels, and incompatible custom recoveries. (always make a backup)
Should I flash radio firmware?
If firmware flashing is required, we will advise so in the OP with the new ROM release.
With the first Lollipop Rom 5.0 you must flash the Dev firmware we have posted.
In future Rom releases, you may stick with your region’s firmware as long as that firmware is from the current released base, such as 5.0.1, 5.0.2, etc.
Firmware flashing is not required for every Rom update. Most of the time it is best to remain on your phone’s native firmware for best signal reception, battery life, and overall performance.
Since we try to bring you the latest HTC updates in a custom Rom, we use HTC Rom variants that are released for specific regions that have firmware that may not perform very well for you. So we advise against flashing the latest firmware “just because it is new”.
If you choose to flash firmware make sure it is customized, i.e.; the stock recovery and boot image is removed to prevent the possibility of erasing your personal data. Ask about it in our thread.
I am S-On, can I install SkyDragon? ***
As long as you have the current base firmware Yes you can! Please feel free to ask questions in our thread.
***If you are on KitKat Rom firmware you cannot flash 5.0 Lollipop Rom if you are S-On.
You will have to wait for your native region OTA to arrive from HTC before flashing any custom Lollipop Rom.
You can always unlock your M8 using FireWater (free), if that doesn’t work, use SunShine (for a fee)

Sadly no actual system rw support, currently no M8 Rom has that currently but we are working on it. All the files for it are in the Rom howeverso hoping for a quick fix once we do get it working, just a few things to try.
So for this version the major updates are:

Does it also include sense camera?
I had amazing performance and battery on your GPE, but I always ending up missing the Sense camera, just wondering if this would suit my "needs"

It is a sense 6 ROM that'll work on GPe Devices or GPe converted devices..GPe converted or actual GPe Devices have a smaller system partition.. So I went and made it possible to flash sense 6 on any m8 device including those...that's all.

I know HTC made certain HTC features compatible with the GPE version. Do you think it will ever be possible to get sense 6 camera on a GPE ROM?
This rom is great.. I have it running on probably one of the biggest pain in the ass people I put roms on phones for. He is happy.. Thanks for this.

Nexus 4 aren't able to see DFS channels due to the country regulations on transmissions. But some routers were using those channels when you set it to auto, so try changing your 5Ghz router channel to non-DFS channel like 40 or 48.

You need busybox installed for init.d support.
Synapse does not remount the system rw before setting an init.d script in WAKE, so first go to terminal or ADB Shell and type:

The past builds all work on MultiROM.
I flashed v21, 33 and 41 and they do give a notice that the ZIP is too big but they all worked.
I even flashed 33 and 41 on top of the previous one without clearing data or Dalvik and everything went smooth as silk.
Now, does this fix the Qualcomm timer thing that used to FC in previous builds?

Dear XDA members,
We at Team SkyDragon always strive to provide XDA users with the best custom Rom experience. Using the latest and greatest offerings from HTC, we follow the XDA mantra to develop and deliver an awesome custom Rom for the HTC One M8.
In porting the latest Sense 7 software to our SkyDragon custom Rom, we have elevated the XDA user experience and the custom Rom benchmark!
Our Team has spent the past week working 24 hours a day putting this Rom together, and any experienced developer can appreciate that this is not a simple task. We have sacrificed time with our families to work on this project in earnest because of the passion we all share here on XDA, to develop the best!
Yesterday, our Rom was shared with an extended group of team members for final testing and unfortunately someone leaked it. We are presently dealing with this issue internally.
We did not plan to release this SkyDragon Sense 7 Rom prior to the official HTC release of the M9. However, because of this leak and the possibility of it being copied (Kanged) to other custom Roms, we feel that we must release it immediately.
Please note: any attempt to copy our Rom or parts of, without written consent from Dragonesdenano will be reported to XDA as "Kanging"
To our team members: we will be a little busier than usual with this release, and we expect SkyDragon team members to support all XDA members with courtesy and respect, and provide the friendly help on this thread that we are known for. Regardless of how many times "someone asks the same question" team members will not be rude or belittle other XDA members. Any violation of the above will be cause for expulsion from the team.
To XDA members: please take the time to read this OP in it's entirety including FAQs and any other notices. If you are on the latest Sense GSM Lollipop firmware you won't need to flash anything other than the Rom. If you have any issues, please download the Rom's corresponding firmware listed below. I add compatibility of MID and CID for the most popular regions and carriers. For example 401 WWE Euro firmware can be flashed on T-MO US, AT&T, or Dev phones etc. Please make sure you are S-Off, and as always you flash at your own risk!
We recommend you flash this firmware via fastboot method (fastboot oem rebootRUU).

So I'm guessing that means no new Dolby surround. Will be flashing this once it downloads
I flashed the ROM, but was stuck at the (rather nice looking) Splash screen for 38 minutes before I restored my Nandroid of my previous ROM.....I flashed the regular Sense 7 SD ROM with no problems, but the RedBulled ROM just didn't boot for me.
I'll try again this evening or tomorrow using a different DL.

Just claiming that you have good battery, is not enough
There are many good rom that have excellent battery. (See Decent Debloated 2.0 and BasicPlus 4.2 etc)
