[Q] Homescreen - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

I have been on my S3 since it came out and am just wondering if anyone can make any suggestions to an excited guy with a new phone.
I feel like there is enough screen real estate to add another row of apps, but I don't know how to do this.
I also used the alarm widget built into the S3, but on the S5 it is taking up an entire row which is overkill and I cannot figure out any way to resize the widgets, so some help on doing that or a replacement for the alarm app would be awesome!

[Q] Search for notes displaying widget

hi, I'm new happy user of note. I'm looking for notes displaying app that can display widget on screen big enough to cover entire screen (minus bottom row of buttons). Found several of those, but none of these provide widget that can be scrolled vertically if message is longer than height of the screen. The idea i have in mind is something similar to widget called Task that comes pre-installed with Note.
Can you plz give me some ideas what app has this feature.
Thanx, T
i have European Note with standard rom.

[Q] View notes from your homescreen

Hi everyone,
Since a while I been looking for the perfect note widget, that allows you to display a note at full size on your homescreen. And another thing I had on my mind was a function that would allow you to write on your homescreen, with some kind of lock function. I use the S Memo pretty often as reminder, but when I use the biggest widget it still displays pretty small. When I resize the widget, it gets stretched out which isnt really making good use of the big screen.
I have tried a couple of Note widgets: S Memo, FreeNote and Evernote. So far I haven't seen an app that does either of the two thigns I'm looking for:
Display a note fullscreen (or at least big) on your homescreen, instead of the normal small widgets.
Have the posibility to write on your home screen (fullscreen) and lock it afterwards. Like the lock function on an old discman.
Does anyone know if this is possible? If not, how do you guys and girls remind yourself with notes?

If you put the SNote widget on a (tall) 2 x 3 arrangement then you'll see the note just right. At least that's how it works on Nova launcher. Or simply have it fill the screen.

Thanks for your post, still 3 x 2 sounds pretty small. As you said you can make it fill up your screen by stretching it out, but thats really limiting the space to draw or write. Or is there another way to increase the widget without stretching it out?
My notes are not stretching no matter what widget size I use, they scale proportionally.

Wallpapers APK + Workout

I know a lot of us are irked by the widget addition of the watch styler to Nova because it doesn't cover the whole screen. One suggestions was to use the same color background, which would work nice. I wanted to see if anybody had an APK that had all of those exact colors?
Second, does anybody workout with their Gear? When I lift (or bike), I tend to sweat quite a bit, which worries me. I often have to wear long sleeves to put the Gear over my sleeve so it doesn't get any of the sweat. Is there reason to worry if the sweat comes in contact?
Anyone?

there were already threads about wallpaper and working out...
i use pure black wallpaper so i can't help you with it.
as for working out, i wear my gear and it works just fine.
I use Nova Launcher with a live wallpaper clock, that way the whole screen is the clock, and I have immediate access to all the other widgets and shortcuts on my second home screen.

[Q] Using Null 23, the clock does not appear

Sorry for the noob question, but as I bought the Galaxy Gear now, I'm still learning about how to customize it and some questions arise normally. I hope the more experienced have patience and understanding to help.
Before using the Null 23, when there was only the Touchwiz, my main screen was a watch that I could choose as analog or digital. If I really wanted to use some function in the Galaxy Gear, enough that I slid a finger at one side and appeared instrument functions. After putting Null 23, the appearance on the handset screen was the same as a normal smartphone (which is great) but I can not leave the main screen with a picture of a clock (analog or digital) as I could when I was only with the original TouchWiz, as I said above.
How can I use the Null 23 and still leave a clock on the main screen as before that only had the TouchWiz?
I thank you all the help you can give me answering my questions here in this topic .
Thank you,
Marcelo .
You can find your watch faces under widgets, add them as you would add a widget on your phone. Make sure to use a 5x5 grid on your launchers, otherwise the watch faces wont fit on the screen (I'm using apex launcher). If you cannot find them on the application drawer, touch and hold anywhere on a screen and select widgets from the sub menu, then just simply add them to any screen.

First, thanks for the quick feedback ... I had imagined such a solution is even tried this last night doing this, but it was not perfect because I used other numbers in the grid. I'll do as you taught and come back here to tell if it worked.
Thanks again for everything ...

Home screen layout

Hi there,
I recently upgraded to a Nexus 5 32GB from my Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 running Android 2.3.6. However, one of the big dilemma's I have been facing is how to organize my home screens (e.g. placement of widgets, app shortcuts, etc.). I know it sounds silly, but it is something which I feel I need to get right. My current setup is;
Google now
Screen 1: Clock widget and battery widget
Screen 2: Power toggles and 4 app folders for commonly used apps
Screen 3: Flipboard widget and Facebook status widget
Screen 4: Sunrise calendar widget
Let me know what your setups are. I am keen to try different setups to see what works, as I am still getting a feel for the device.
Thanks!
