[SOLVED] Goole Glass automatic update doesn't start - Glass Q&A

Hi,
I cannot upgrade my glass from version XE12.1 to the latest; automatic update not start when I turn off the glass and insert the charger. (I tried several times using the method to force the automatic update)
What can I do?
Can i perform a manual update via ADB installing XE16.2 factory images?
there is a how-to to do this?
in that case will the automatic updates received on glass for the next version?
thanks
Peter

After a night connected to the charger, finally my glass has been update

[Q] HD7 crashes after HTC update - July 27, 2011‏

I got a notification from the phone about a new HTC update on July 27, 2011... I connected my phone to Zune player and started the update (which was estimated to be done in 45 minutes).
Now the update was stuck at the 9th step, which is rebooting the phone, for 2+ hours.. I hesitated and had to unplug my phone from the USB and try to reboot it myself.
Obviously it did not work. Every time I power up my phone I get 6 vibrations and the phone is stuck on the HTC page... I even tried restoring to the factory settings (by pressing power, VolUp and VolDown buttons) but it still fails.
I found this thread on T-mobile community and tried installing a new ROM.
URL: http : // support.t-mobile.com/message/11762#11762
This failed and now the phone is completly dead and I cannot turn it back on again... I cannot even recharge the battery.
Any thoughts guys? Is there anyone who can help me install and reset my phone to it's original state??
My phone (and zune) did not show any new updates. It always says my phone is update. I wonder how/why so many people are getting this July update?
Does anyone know what changes after July'11 update? Any change in version/fw numbers?
Not sure of the specifics, but the HTC update is a firmware and radio upgrade. Most assume it is in preparation for the official Mango release. Those on Mango Beta, such as myself, will have to revert back to NoDo to get that update.
its a firmware update..updates radio .
not sure what its purpose is.
This update is available after you install mango RTM, it will appear right away. Upgrades the radios for the mango version. Could potentially brick a nodo device. Don't know how u managed to get it.....

[Q] Stock OTA update possible brick?

So I bought a LG G2 today and all was fine until it asked if I wanted to do an OTA. I figured, why not its COMPLETELY stock. The only thing I did to the phone was a factory reset when I bought it then connected to my wifi and updated all the stock apps to the updated version. At that point it asked me if I wanted to perform the OTA so I hit Install now. It went through 1/2 with no problem but on 2/2 of the update it gets to 13% and brings me to a screen with a blue line over about 1/4 inch of the top of the screen and gives about 15 lines of files or directories that are not found. It acts like a bad flash. I have tried a hard reset and still brings me to the update screen after I select Yes twice. My pc's (yes multiple) will not even acknowledge its there. How can this happen on a completely stock verizon phone with a factory verizon OTA?? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
10 of the errors start with FOTAFS_Open /system/lib/librs.
There different from there on. The rest of the errors are the cache partition.
Like I said to me it sounds like a bad flash but what now? I'm stumped!

Stuck in bootloop after october update

Hi everyone, this morning the OTA update notified me that the october update was avaible for my phone, i started the update and after then it was working perfectly. When i was trying to unlock the phone, it started having some trouble recognizing or my face, either my fingerprint. So i decided to restart the phone, but back then it is contiously turning on and off, and sometimes it says "Android is updating your apps". When it is on i can try to use it but there is nor notification bar neither the back, home button. If i try to connect the phone to the pc, it is recognized. Can somebody help me? It is the european model, with exynos, 128 GB and 6 GB of RAM.

I would get the current stock firmware files for your phone model and the current version of Odin onto your laptop. Then just flash over everything. Try dirty flashing first (without wiping) as to not lose any data. If that doesn't work, wipe everything while flashing. You'll lose all your data and will have to set everything up again.
I honestly wouldn't bother trying to sort this yourself (And potentially making things worse), I'd just go straight to Samsung, you shouldn't be having to fix their mistakes.

Now this is what I worry about! Samsung needs to do better than this! It's bad enough that we dont get OTA updates in time and to then mess up my phone while giving me an already late update is so not good. Hopefully some day, we will see a change ?. I will surely know to back up all my data before any updates.. for whenever it comes....

I agree, the problem is that, before updating, i checked online if someone had issues with this update but i found nothing, so i decided to update... i won't do it again without backing up the phone before updating[emoji28][emoji28]

Is it possible to downgrade from OneUI (Pie) to N960FXXS2ARL4 (8.1) ?

Title says it all. I updated to one ui officialy . (The update came to the phone.) Can i downgrade to N960FXXS2ARL4 using Odin? Is there any brick chance or etc. ? (I don't know much about this stuff.)
Edit: My region is Turkey. The latest android oreo update was N960FXXS2ARL4 (December security update) Android Pie (OneUI ) update is N960FXXU2CSA2.
Flash stock firmware through ODIN, make sure you wipe your device. Everything should be fine.
Should i wipe first or after flashing the stock rom?
After flashing is a must.
Choise for flashing csc_oxm.
Thanks for your replies. I managed to downgrade it. But i have a problem. S-Pen slot doesn't recognize my s-pen. I tried resetting etc. I tried reflashing the rom but it doesn't work.

Did you try to pair it from the settings s-pen menu? There is pairing option.
Also downgrading to oreo is understandable, but kinda temp solution if you are not willing to sacrifice a year worth of updates/security patches.
Doesn't work Phone doesn't even detect it when its inside the slot. I had s pen problems before downgrading but it was probably because i dropped spen to water. It made ghost touches while using so i dried it using rice. It was working again but now it doesnt work and the spen button is shown as constantly pressed. In screen of memo its shown as eraser. I cant use it to draw.
Note: After trying everything i figured out that if i reboot my phone with s pen inside it, it would understand that the spen is inside when it boots up. But when i start using my spen, it doesn't register presses on the screen only on the notification bar and air command button. While drawing it recognizes it as an eraser. It thinks that the button is pressed and higlights the texts when pressed.
