"Data" (3G/4G) icon missing in status bar of GPE converted HTC One!! - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a HTC One GPE converted phone and when I switch on the data/ data roaming, it does not show any "3G" or "E" or "H" or "R" symbols. So there is no way to know if I have it on or not unless I go into settings to look for it. Does anyone know any solution to this problem?

Bump!!!
Am bumping this one up since there is no response.. Any help!!!???

using a root explorer with the system set to r/w
go to system/customize/ACC/default.xml
scroll to the bottom and look for the sku_id
try changing it to 7 or 11 save the settings and reboot the phone
you should have icons now

Thanks.. But the system/customize does not have an ACC folder..

[Q] (Q) Theme Question

I've been working on a theme and I have been trying to change the color of the bar that shows up for the volume control and for downloads, etc. I have looked all over the ROM and themes trying to find the .png for it, but I can't find it. Can anyone tell me what it's called and where it's located? Thanks in advance.

I think u should be able to find it in "framework-res.apk" file under settings/framework
framework-res.apk\res\drawable\progress_horizontal.xml

+1.
Its not a .png you can just edit in photoshop. You have to decompile and edit the progress_horizontal.xml file.
Here's a good guide:

[Q] How to remove the horrible system wallpapers?

Hi,
My phone is already rooted.. got all the applications that I don't need removed..
was wondering how can I delete the pre-installed wallpaper that's on the phone?
It's really badly degisned wallpaper... how to delete it?
thanks a million :fingers-crossed:
They are not in a directory.. they are on theLauncher.apkunder\res\drawableI know you can replace the wallpapers there with your own ( I've done this before) but I'm not sure If you'll be able to add more wallpapers to the gallery without replacing the default ones.
If I helped you please press thanx

GDX doesn't have that folder. may be you are having these wallpapers from the launcher. install xperia arc launcher and remove the default launcher. if not done please tell me how you find the unwanted wallpapers.

Hi,
This is how I did it last night (by playing around with Root Explorer on my phone)
1. Open up Root Explorer on your X8 first..
2. then follow this path:
system > etc >customization > content > com > sony ericsson > homescreen > wallpaper (system wallpapers are here)
PS: if you can't delete the item, and it's giving you a 'read only' message, simply click on the 'Mount R/W' icon at the top of the page, which
will now turn to 'Mount R/O',, then you can now delete it..
hope that helps you mate :good:
@leekenwah
Bro he is saying that he doesnt have customization folder he is on GDX V29
