I/jazz ( 846): Load Jex /system/framework/core.jar.jex for /system/framework/core.jar
You should have received a red warning text before the installation, didn't you? It links here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52289793&postcount=5

[Q] Can't flash under TWRP 2.8.6.0 (PAC-ROM Beta-1 Lollipop 5.1)

Hi,
I'm running on PAC-ROM Beta-1 Lollipop 5.1 under TWRP 2.8.6.0 on Samsung GT-I9105P.
I can't flash the .zip; I'm receiving the following error message:
Code:
[COLOR="Red"]E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_sd/xposed-arm-20150308.zip'[/COLOR]
I read somewhere on XDA that disabling USB debugging would help, however, to no avail in my case.
The .apk installs fine, but without the .zip it's no use.
It used to work perfectly under stock 4.2.2.
How do I get Xposed to work?
Many thanks in advance.
I'm having the same issue.
Good to see I'm not alone
(TWRP 2.8.5.4 on TF300)
I think you're trying to install Xposed for Android 5.0 on Android 5.1

EMUI 3.1 -> TWRP 3.0.0.0 http://www.mediafire.com/download/al66y3g430m6u0d/TWRP3.0P7_boycracked.zip
To make Xposed Framework work you need to disable Resource Hooks in Settings and reboot.

No, with latest version (>85) you don't need to disable resource hooks

Just download and install twrp recovery 3.0. 0 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/orig-development/recovery-t3314665
In the xposed thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 download XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha4.apk (and install as normal apk)
Here http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk22/arm/ download and install with twrp recovery xposed-v86-sdk22-arm.zip

You didn't provide enough information to properly help you.
What Android version are you running? What device? What do you mean by "latest Xposed Installer" and from where did you get it?

If you are talking about the Xposed apk, it's not going to give you the ability to tap install, you have to flash the appropriate zip in your custom recovery for your device
Where do I get the zip file from??

The best way to install Xposed is via Magisk.
Unroot your device completely by flashing the stock firmware or just the boot image then flash Magisk.
Open Magisk manager and install the Xposed module.
Nothing else required. All without affecting system or permanently breaking anything. It's as simple as removing the module to revert.

You don't need to decide. The latest version is dynamic and will install the correct version.

Bricked my Salaxy S5 (SM-G900I) trying to install exposed

Hi there
I have bricked my phone trying to install the Xposed framework.
Upon reading here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
I installed the apk fine without trouble but then if I am not wrong the actual framework needs to be installed using TWRP?
So I put TWRP on the phone.
If I am not wrong the G900I is the Australia model which I think uses ARM? Not Arm64 and not x86? So I downloaded the ARM of xposed and tried to install it as the .zip file on TWRP and got given a red error message which ended in 'ERROR 1' I can't remember the exact message.
The phone will not boot at all now and just stays on the splash screen.
Can anyone not only help me fix it but when I do fix it, to properly installed xposed framework?
Thanks
Did you get a solution for this issue? I am having a similar issue as well. Message comes up on splash screen saying set warranty bit : kernel
