Broken charger - Samsung Gear Live

Bloody Samsung!!!
Honestly, I don't have a problem with the overall design of the charger. I can very easily snap it on with one hand.
But what does suck is that the charger was DOA!!
Got my shiny new watch yesterday, marvelled at it for a while, until it died. Went to charge it, and nothing... And it's still dead. Damn charger!!
Glad I bought from the Play Store though. They were very easy to deal with, and are sending a replacement already. Couldn't ask for more on Google's behalf.

Returning N7 with small chip.

So my first 16GB had the infamous screen separation issue. I decided to return it, the replacement arrived today. However when i was packing back the first N7 i saw that it has a small chip on the gray trim (no idea how i got it). Do you guys think i'll get charged? It's kind of making me weary as i don't want to be charged.
You're fine. Stop being a worry wart
You can say the chip happened during shipping. Even with the most packaging, a hard enough fall can damage the product. I worked for fed ex a few years ago and when we dropped a package we just squinted and kept going lol. S*it happens

Yeah, you'll be fine.

took a risk

So I bought one of these guys on ebay and In the description it said the power button was broken it had a buy it now for $40 it said it also came with the cradle so I figured sure I'll buy it. I received it today, it honestly looked brand new never used before the protective plastic was still on the screen camera and buckle one problem tho the cradle was not with the watch bummer so I searched and I came across some home made remedies and surprisingly it worked it charged right up turned on everything worked fine on it now I'm just waiting to hear back from the seller about the cradle but still going to buy another one from Samsung but just figured I'd share this lol now I need to find some cool things I can do with this watch any advice?
I just bought one from nomorerack.com. They're refurbs, but they're $88 + s/h (usually $2 per item). Comes with box, cradle, power cable... the whole deal. Got mine a couple of days ago.

Heat issues with wireless charging?

I dug around in here, and haven't found a thread discussing this particular issue, so I'm starting one to discuss with anyone who's interested. I recently found a decent deal for a plastic battery cover with a qi sticker included on Amazon (from China) for $20, so I tried it out. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014KQXR4A?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00) While the battery cover is really high quality (and honestly is worth the $20 alone), and I was able to get it to charge successfully on 2 out of my 3 wireless chargers, the phone gets REALLY hot while charging. It sits at around 40-41 degrees celcius while charging. And it doesn't cool down much after reaching 100%. It lowers a little bit, but still sits at around 35 degrees celcius while just maintaining 100% charge. I would really love to be able to let it just sit on my desk all day while maintaining 100% charge, but am really concerned with the heat shortening the lifespan of the phone.
If shortening the lifespan of the phone were my only issue, I guess I could live with it. But yesterday it got so hot that the phone froze up entirely, and I had to remove the battery to reboot it. And when it came back up, the wallpaper was changed, which I found was odd.
So I'd like to hear reports from others who have purchased qi stickers or backs, and see a link to the particular part, and how it has fared in the heat department. I'm curious to know if it's just this qi sticker, or if wireless charging on these phones will heat them up like this no matter which sticker is used. Wondering if LG just couldn't get it to function without heating up, and that's why they decided not to include it from the factory. Including a poll, not sure how informative it will be.
Thanks in advance for your input.
P.S. For anyone wondering why I didn't just purchase a qi sticker instead of the whole back and everything, two reasons. First, I got the leather back, which I really don't like, and have had my eyes out for a cheap plastic back replacement, even offering to swap my leather back for someone elses plastic back. The leather doesn't fit all the cases I like, and seems like it's going to start showing bad wear and tear. Second, I was hoping to not have to fit the sticker myself, was hoping for an out of the box solution. However, that was screwed when the back I bought came with the sticker not installed anyway lol.
Edit: Just realized I should have made the poll multiple choice since I added the freezes or crashes option. Oops.
I purchased the entire gambit: circle case, generic QI sticker and Newisdom upgraded chip. I had minimal issues with the circle case but ultimately I just didn't like how it fit so I went with the generic QI. On my Itian charger I have no issues what so ever, I bought a Captain America Qi charger on eBay for $10 and it will charge for a little while and then overheat the phone and charger.
Truthfully I've had nothing but problems with the Newisdom sticker, especially with Spigen case, I regret purchasing it. My generic one works pretty flawlessly regardless of the scenarios.
I think at the end of the day what matters most is the charger, a good charger works pretty seamlessly.
Thanks!
Wireless charging any phone will get it hot or warm. That's the downside of wireless charging.

Thanks for the input. I've got three fairly decent chargers, and it gets hot on all of them. While the Galaxy S3's we have only get slightly warm while charging, and completely while maintaining. And they have decent $10 coil stickers in them.

This is not true, at least for OEM phones. I know the Galaxy S6 which has qi charging built in doesn't get warm at all. And the two Galaxy S3's we have which had qi capability, but we had to add qi coil stickers to them, only get slightly warm while charging, not even close to what my G4 gets to. And completely cool while maintaining. And I would be totally fine if it got a bit warm while charging. It is kind of to be expected. But my phone is not just getting warm. It's getting HOT. Really hot. And it doesn't cool down much while maintaining.
Way to hot
I recently bought a qi wireless charging pad from a major store will at work for my galaxy s7, first morning phone real hot and battery 0% life. Thought I had did something wrong. 2nd morning woke up late and grabbed phone and threw it because it was burning hand, stunk like burned electronics and was steaming. It had zero battery and was about 50 when laid on it. Dealing with manufacture now and trying to get my phone fixed or repaired. 2 months old and never an issue with heat even with fast charge. Anybody have this issue? If it was on longer I know it would of melted or who knows.
mines get hot around 43 celcious. or less i havent use it in a while as weather here its still hot.

Screen bulge -- maybe swollen battery

Hey folks. I have noticed a screen bulge on the right side of my phone for a little bit now. I'm not certain how long it's been like that but it may have coincided with the purchase of a quick charge charger. The one I purchased is an Aukey charger and is Qualcomm certified so I wasn't concerned at the time, but recently my phone will die at around 10% or so. This behavior and the bulging screen led me to think that I may now have a swollen battery. Which then made me think about how long it has been that way hence me mentioning the Aukey quick charger. Anyway, any words of wisdom would be great. I wanted to wait for the next HTC device before replacing but may not have the luxury of time.
Also, I did search and what I found was years old and dealt with warranty replacements and my phone was purchased at launch so no more warranty.
Also, phone rooted running BadBoyz latest.
And I charge my phone at night on a night stand at the same height as my face -- is my phone going to explode my face in my sleep?
from stories i heard, it doesn't explode like a bomb, it starts steaming through the sides and fire starts throwing from the orificies.
but seriously you should not continue using it like that, i suggest to send it to local repair shops and replace battery

Official Samsung Fast Qi Wireless Charger

I would really like to purchase the Samsung Qi fast wireless charger
but I have a few questions about it before I buy one.
#1: How much slower is the fast wireless Qi charger when compared to
the standard samsung fast usb charger which comes with the phone?
#2: Does the phone get hot or very warm when it's charging wirelessly?
#3: Does the phone charge slower when it has a one piece case on it?
Thanks in advance,
Have a great day!
#1, add around 30% time to charge
#2 Not that i have noticed
#3 Depends on the case

It´s just with me or it is difficult to put the phone on the right place to charge
I used a few times because of this, depend of the place where you put to charge, of course I am putting on the middle, the phone centred haha

I bought one from here and it was legit (not fake). Buy one and if you don't like it, send it back. I dock my phone every night I go to sleep. It has a very quite fan noise and the charging light notification is bright, but some electrical tape can take care of it.

I have both, the flat and the tilted charger from Samsung. I got an extra at Radio Shack going out of business, gutted it, and put it under the cubby hole in my car to charge while driving. The flat one I have next to my computer and use it rarely. The tilted charger, be warned. The lip of it where the phone sits is extremely narrow; 3 weeks after I got my Edge 7, it became an Olympic ski jumper, slid off the charger, off the desk, and right into the metal rail on my bed and cracked the housing at the charging port. I really only use the home chargers when I go to bed, and the one in my car while driving 40 miles to and from work. I like them because I've been getting Ringke cases that have port covers, and using the wireless, I don't risk marring the finish trying to connect a cable. It's funny how many people see it, either at work, or when I installed it in the car, and really like the idea. I never take my case off to charge, and never really notice it being any hotter than if I were using it for an extended time period.

I know, but you are thinking of buying one. I'm simply giving you a link, if you decide to buy one, to a REAL Samsung fast wireless charger for a good price. The market is flooded with fake ones at low prices. Usually, if the price is fairly low, then it's a fake Samsung product.

Every time i use it (with s6 edge+ or s7 edge) it charges, no problem at all, even with the cases (s6e+ has verus high pro shield and s7e has spigen case rugged armor)
I don't have Samsung QI Charger, I got my QI Wireless Charger from Anker, Very great quality for the half of price and do the same job
Since i am not using fast charging via cable and always charge the regular - slow - way so i got the regular one from Anker, Charge time is as same as the cable time.
No major heat or something just the regular warmth, and working fine with cases.
I like it, very easy to just place the phone and wake away , no cables or USB Port damage, Won't back to regular charge

I have two of them. Stand.
#1: 20-30%
#2: It gets warm even with the fan at the back of the charger running all the time. Not hot and not very warm.
#3: Not in my case and I have cases with different thickness.
