[Q] CM 11 can't detect 3D graphic? - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i use the latest fxp cm11 build 329
everything work fine but sometimes the home screen is laggy, so i flash william kernel v4 for cm 11
everything work fine, and the speed is good
but when i test it using antutu it says that my 3d score is 0
can anyone help me with this?
thanks :good:

Antutu and Williams kernel have never quite been friends in the past.
It would't surprise me if the latest update (v4) hasn't sorted that part out yet.

[KERNEL][OC/UV][CM/] RAMMED kernel -- 64 megs more RAM!! Powered by unicorns!!

As Benee has included a hack like this in his kernel, I'm dropping this project.
So no new releases from my side on this kernel.
Benee's vorkKernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059910
So, I played around with the O2X kernel from cyanogenmod a little, and have squeezed a little more RAM out of it
Also, OMFG OVERCLOCKING!!!
I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE THIS MAY CAUSE TO YOUR HANDSET!
Downloads:
CM7: http://adf.ly/1WYb8 or http://ul.to/2j60nsaa
CM7 OC/UV: http://adf.ly/1WbrR or http://ul.to/75p0p77m
OC/UV versions are based on VorkKernel
Normal versions are based on the CM7 kernel
It will give you exactly 64Mb more RAM to play with raising the bar from 383Mb to 447 Mb.
Tech info:
So, at some point while LG was messing around the kernel they decided to up the amount of video RAM the GPU got. I simply turned it back down the the standard 64Mb for tegra 2, and changed the cmdline of the boot image.
If you're interested in the small code change I made, feel free to drop me a PM
So there you go, enjoy your extra RAM!

Is it possible, that you tweak LG Stock Rom's kernal with that 64MB modification?
Nice work
Only bad for me, now i have to release 2 roms at the same time
1 with your ramhack kernel
2 with oc kernel by Benee

If this works, http://ul.to/nvhuvg90, just add that as a package to flash after the ROM..
It's made so it should work on all ROM's

Official CM 7.1 wifi fix?

I just installed the official CM 7.1 on my x8 and everything on it is brilliant except my wifi isn't working. After some reading I realised that this is a common problem but I'm wondering is there any fix for it yet?

Martin you are a real Devil.
A GOOD Devil.
Thanks for taking care of the problems. I have problems with my build machine and hence the delay in releasing new builds. I have built one today that takes care of the wifi issues. Atleast I dont see any issues.
Keep up the great work. :good:
I was on CyanFox with Gear Kernel. I lost my Baseband after flashing this Kernel. I can't restore it even after flashing a backup.

This phone used to have 400-410 mb of ram in jellybean. It lost 15% of its ram overnight with kitkat. What happened? I mean it's not as if it did not have low enough ram but with these new kernels this phone must be often slowing to a crawl...

[Q] Kernel for KitKat

I've read a lot on forums but I can't find a consistent answer.
There are any custom kernel for CM11 on S Advance. I'm quite satisfied with CM11 kernel, but some optimizations are welcome, y'a know...

Well, I saw in performance options that the max clock is 1000 MHz, and it has some governors. But at the stock clock the system is fast and smooth, a lot different from the stock JB from Samsung (anyway, I hate that Touchwiz UI).
I'm waiting a CM11 version to my Xperia L too, and I'll see the difference in the two systems.

If you don't undervolt then your phone will get too hot / use too much battery when overclocking (going to 1.6). It's best to test how high you can undervolt your phone before it starts to lag / freeze to find the optimal level of undervolting (e.g. my phone freezes at 40mv because of touchboost). If your phone refuses to boot after overclocking / undervolting then you can flash AGNi_reset_oc-uv_on_boot_failure.zip (found in /sdcard) to fix it.
