Slim Case for the D802 - G2 Accessories

Hi,
I finally took the plunge and bought an LG G2 here in the UK which is the D802 model. I'm looking at buying a case ASAP but want something that will be slim and not add bulk to the phone.
I've found a couple of options - Incipio Feather and Poetic Palette.
I really like the latter of those cases but having trouble:
a) determining if these will fit my UK D802
b) finding these in stock.
So I'm looking for suggestions on cases like these ones which I can get in the UK - I don't mind getting it delivered from the US or anywhere really as long as I know 100% it'll fit and be what I'm looking for.
Thanks for any help and/or suggestions!

You should search through this forum first, a lot od posts about cases.

Incipio DermaSHOT for HD2

I'm receiving an HD2 in the mail within the next couple of days and have been looking for a good case to put it in. I really like the otterbox, but I'm not a fan of the high price. I found the Incipio DermaSHOT for $18 and a little less on ebay. Does anybody had this case that can provide feedback on it? Or suggest another case that is relatively inexpensive but holds up well?

Otterbox is well worth the money, besides what's the cost of this case compared to your phone?

Need help choosing a case... Nothing over 20 bucks

No wood, No rough leather, no book style cases. A smart cover would be nice as well.
So far I'm liking these:

the thread started by EVO_shift covers this style of case. A lot of brands have the exact same case with minor differences in features. I have the poetic version and like it. Beware that the original batch from China has as magnet that was to strong...but I would guess if you order now you will get one from the new batch that should be better.

I looked at his thread but i need links to compare to this case
Mandated from Stannis Baratheon
I narrowed it down to 3... updated links in the OP. Anyone have the 2nd 2 cases?
The 1st one has an exposed bezel and the other 2 the bezel is covered, do you have a preference one way or the other. (I really dislike the bezel being covered for some reason I find it uncomfortable.)
I also prefer the cases that rotate or have some option to put in portrait for when I'm reading. If you're going to be reading it's something to consider.
example; http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Rotating...UTF8&coliid=I27K1ARLET5FJH&colid=6SSSVRR36XK2
* I don't have it, I'm just sayin'
I really like the first link. I'm looking at buying a case at the moment. Think this will be me (And they also deliver to New Zealand! Woohoo!)
Thanks for the links .

Cheap Silicone case and screen protector?

I'll be picking up a Note II on AT&T on the 9th and I'd rather not end up spending $60 on a sub-par case and screen protector at the AT&T store like I did last time with my original AT&T Note. So I'm going to buy them off the internet before hand. Any suggestions for a cheap silicone case I could pick up on eBay that won't scratch it? or some cheap matte screen protectors? Thanks.

Amazon.com. Spigen Ultraclear protector. I've seen a couple nice cases on eBay. I purchased one of the hard minimalist cases, but there are some nice TPU units as well.

Yea. $30+ is ridiculous. I know they have to make money on the accessories because they bite it on the phones, but damn.

Silicone cases are useless. These get saggy and for a phone this size and this thin; I'm pretty sure the case will just dongle all over the place and will not stay on... Your best bet is TPU, which is what you are calling semi-hard.
And to the OP. You can go cheap on cases, but I don't recommend going stingy on the screen protector. The poster recommending Spigen is your best option. I have the clear crystal one from Amazon; they are not cheap but you get two that will probably last as long as you'll own the phone.

The one I've had on my HTC DHD for the past 18 months has been great. I agree that the GNII may be a bit big for one though.

I currently have this one, and am fairly happy with it. The only issue I have so far is that the opening for the charger/usb port is rather small - the factory usb cable fits OK, but most other cables don't.

Nexus 7 Case Advice

Hi guys,
since I got my Nexus 7 WiFi almost a month ago and still don't have a proper case, I finally decided to buy one, but I'm not sure yet which one to get, as there's quite a few different ones out there.
What I'm looking for:
- reliable sleep/wakeup functionality when opening/closing the case
- useable as a stand when in landscape mode
- should not cover up any connectors/plugs of the N7 WiFi
- material plastic or faux leather
- dark color, preferably black
- not too expensive
- should provide good protection from scratches, smaller falls etc.
Would really appreciate your advice on this one, especially if you made some good/bad experiences with (multiple) different cases.
A bonus would be if the case also was available in a european-based online shop, as I live in Germany, but its not a necessity.
Thanks in advance, looking forward to your suggestions
Tech21 make nice leather folio cases with d30 material inside, should be good for a fall;
http://shop.tech21.uk.com/store/Pro...02W_Google-Nexus-7-Leather-Case--Impact-Folio
No sleep function but it has a pocket on the lid where you could stick a magnet inside to create the sleep function, I've stickytaped one in and it works great.
Thanks for the suggestion, but that one is a bit out of my price range.
I also don't need neither real leather nor a super hi-tech drop/fall protection.
I'm looking for something for about 20-30 Euros, if possible.
Roocase
I have a roocase that is basically exactly what you described. But it's over $30 from what I found

Thanks, I looked it up on Amazon, but there seem to be lots of different versions of the roocase for the Nexus 7, many of them in my price range.
Which case do you have exactly, could you maybe hook me up with a link?
Like you I bought my Nexus7 around a month ago and spent a lot of time thinking about which case to get.
In the end I went with this one from Amazon and it really is as good as it looks in the pics.
Plus it's amazing value.

I'm not exactly sure, I received it as a gift and threw the packaging away long ago.
although there are various other threads on this same topic. I suggest the poetic slimline, it's what i use and seems to have all the qualities your looking for.
i bought the poetic that everyone here raves about. it looks very nice, but the problem i gave with it is the stand. after a couple of weeks it is very weak. i also bought and highly recommend the Moko Slim Case. looks great, fits perfect and the stand is much sturdier and has two viewing angles. it also has a loop on it to hold your stylus and a strap for your hand to slide into very comfortably. theres even an elastic strap that fits over the corners to keep case secured open when in use in your hand so the the cover doesnt flap around. highly recommend this product. youtube review of it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8eTdyBgbnI
and you can get it on amazon for $15.99 http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Slim-fit-Google-Android-Tablet/dp/B008FLYROG
I have the poetic slim in black and got it for 12 shipped on amazon. Like said above it's stand gets weak after awhile and isn't ideal for that. The reason I got it was to protect the screen and to not be bulky. It does that job really well.

Wallet Case?

Does anyone know of any good wallet cases for the p880?
I've looked around but accessories for the phone aren't particularly numerous.

I found that Nillkin do some nice cases - I bought the hard 'shield' case and the leather case - which may be what you are looking for.

I've got one of the flip style Nillkins, and it has kept my screen scratch free (touch wood) for 8 months at least. The only downside is that
it actually starts to get worn, so the bottom and top black and brown leather separates from each other. Some glue fixes that, and I've definitely seen worse from things bought at the retailer down the street. Anyways, I haven't really seen wallet cases for the 4X...
