Trying this one out on my old Vibrant. So far, performance is smooth and truly full featured when it comes to customization. I once had a little issue with the dialer where the End call button did not want to work, I then turned on Airplane Mode, and when I tried to turn it off, it didn't want to highlight the button although others worked just fine . I proceeded to clean both caches and so far that bug hasn't reappeared. Will keep testing.

thats odd i have not had that issue what so ever. did you do a clean install, change kernel, flash any mods, or alter the rom any other way then all the custumization options thats provided? sorry for all the questions just trying to pin point the cause of this.

Yes, clean flash (as in wiping all caches and partitions including /system) before flashing. Also nope, no mods or alternate kernels flashed. Oh yeah, and I found that the screen color/gamma settings do not stick after a reboot.

thanks for the info i'll look through the og thread that i ported from and see if i can find some answers/solutions for you.
update: sorry couldnt find a answer/solution for those 2 issues your having, i read the last 20 pages of the thread and nothing. this is a port though so some bugs will be present that are not in the I9000 version of C-rom.

Thanks. Don't worry, things like that happen, I just hope the first one I reported doesn't reappear since the phone's not with me for now and the person's only used to how Jelly Bean (and up) works.

Issue: Videos wouldn't play. Not YouTube, not another video app. Not over cellular data, not over Wi-Fi.
Solution: I found that by changing the kernel to the "v" version of Semaphore instead of the "sv" version solves this problem. Just a heads up.

yeah i was aware of that, its just that i like the performance of "sv" over the "v" version. if yall would prefer a different kernel with this rom just speak on it i' ll take it in to consideration. thanks for pointing that out though im sure some people will run in to that issue and not know what to do, now should be easier for them unless they dont bother reading any pages of the thread lol.

C-rom 5.7 in now up, added changes to channel log in op. enjoy folks! as usual report what ever bugs yall may find and i'll try my best to help out with what ever issues may arise.

C-rom 5.8 is up, op updated with changes so enjoy folks. removed semaphore 3.4.3 sv for 3.4.3v instead to resolve video streaming/playing.

5.9 is now up, let me know of any issues that yall may run into.
UPDATE:replace the mms.apk in 5.9 with a previous version or from any other 4.4.2 rom as it will lead to mms crashing after recieving a text, i just ran into this issue after running 5.9 for 3 days straight.

6.0 is now up! mms bug is still present in latest update when receiving a text will make the app crash so i swapped out the apk from 5.8 instead, it was the last release i know of that this problem didn't occur so i hope this helps resolve the issue. changes are in the op so enjoy yall and like usual report what ever issues yall may run into...

sorry but yes its the rom. channel log in the the I9000 states it seems to be fixed i'll stop by over there and ask about it cause i dont use bluetooth so i wouldnt know. just to be sure you mean your'e having issues with bluetooth head set? if so can you grab a logcat for me so i can it to the devs attention and see what he says as the issue is out of my hands, if i can think of a way to resolve it i'll report back.
UPDATE: ok i see what you mean now bt wont turn on at all, i'll grab the log and past it on. thank you for bringing it to my attention or else i would have never known.
UPDATE 2: got bluetooth sorted and now C-RoM is powered by a new kernel gonna pull the faulty upload of 6.1 of mine and upload the proper one, give me about an hour or so and i'll have it up gotta run out and do some grocery shopping real quick. sorry for the inconvenience...
UPDATE 3: fixed version of the rom is now up let me know of other issues that may occur.

Thanks for confirmation. I have no idea how I missed the setting. Found it 100% awesome now
Edit: Camera had dark image that I couldn't see when taking picture in dark area. Installed Google camera and it now takes good pics in the dark.

Force close on device orientation
While using only landscape orientation supporting apps or games and returning to home screen using back button results in force close and restart of system UI.

NVM, if I don't flash gapps & use the ones with the rom, it works.

it's one of the problem of AOSB ROMs....

Battery life is great, I'm using the supplied kernel that came with the rom, The rom is great, not sure what else is needed, it's complete to me.

Yes battery life is great with supplied kernel...
You can also use Hell's Core kernel with it ,
for more battery life.... :thumbup:

FAQ and Know issues:
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

Battery drain Issue
I recently flashed this rom. In terms of speed it was very snappy and fast:good:
But the BATTERY Drain was very fast my phone would last only 8 hours when on other Roms with same usage it would last 14 hours approx.

SMS bug !!!
I instaaled this rom its great in terms of speed and battery performance not bad at all but i get this strange issue in sms !! messeges i recieve show in conversations normally but the ones i send are shown as big blank space next to my contact pic > tried data wipe ,cache and dalvik but didnt help

Not sure why go keyboard force stops sometimes .Not sure if the problem lies with the rom or the app itself. The boot animation is not the correct size.

Is there setting to change led light trigger area?? I would like to change only when touching softkeys.

FAQ and Know issues:
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

Well, for as a fast check, everything looks to be working good.
People, the DSP force close is a common bug in many ROMs. Just disable it @ Settings > Apps
(Pic says "Enable" cuz it is disabled)
Then, install Viper4Android (DSP on steroids),
reboot and Voilà!

Can't send MMS on G900T using stock messaging app. Always force closes

Installation instructions so If installing for the first time:
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked boot loader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed
1 Copy the downloaded AOSB to your phone.
2 update recovery, is required for install android kitkat
3 Boot into your recovery
4 Back up your ROM
5 Enter recovery
6 Make full wipe "included "system"
7 Install the ROM
8 install GAPPS package
9 Reboot - the first boot can take up to 2 minutes
10 Recommended to Reboot again after ROM is up for the first time

FAQ and Know issues:
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

reporting bugs:
1 - report your bug in the forum of your device and see if other people having the same problem :crying:
2 - try to solve it with all the knowledge you can get :silly:
3 - if that doesn't work go to our support center and place your findings there, report your bug and which device you have , this way it goes straight to the developers
4 - only report a bug if your really sure it's not your own fould! --- clean install , stock kernel , no weird home manufacturing stuff ,etc,etc,
5 - you can also request features there :victory:

MINOR BUG : Settings doesn't respond (closes)
Go to settings>battery>Low battery warning>
if disabled then setting closes or else it works fine..

I love this ROM, i've been using it for a couple of days now and it's Awesome
one thing though, the ROM doesn't read my phone number in settings>about phone, and because of this, security and anti-theft apps like theftie can't read the phone number and become useless. is there a solution to this problem?
also a suggestion for development is to include in rom (pictures2sd) which is xposed module to enable the camera app to save the pictures in sdcard instead of internal memory. i've used it and it's working perfectly.

EDIT: After a week of using this ROM i think the customization level is unbeatable + its buttery fluid.
But i did encounter some problems:
1- Random reboots
2- Touchscreen stops working randomly
3- WiFi Cant connect sometimes

hey i recognize some bugs in ROM:
1) whenever i import contact from storage....the error comes popping window unfortunately process stopped and the contacts autokills and homescreen appears directly.
2)i also got a bug of AOSB keyboard when i change the keyboard to any other......the process stopped popup appears.
3)for may of the application i got the popup unfortunately process stopped.
4) Charging taking much time to charge from 0 to 100 approx 2.30 hrs.
plz fix this bugs ....the most imp bug import contact bug from which i cant sync contacts from external card.
