Welcome to the NEW GingerCrust V1.5 .
So what we have here is a Hybrid CM7 rom merged with GingerCrust rom from Xperia x8 including complete Xperia framework-settings and apps.
Many many tweaks, fast and stable.. You can use it as every day rom without problems, force closes or unexpected reboots
THIS IS HYBRID ROM NOT ALL WORKS PERFECTLY, SOME OPTIONS ARE ONLY FOR THE XPERIA PHONE AND THEY ARE NOT APPLICABLE TO LG OPTIMUS ONE.

Known Bugs:
* Reboot option into recovery does not work it only reboots, therefore I have added the Xperia reboot option as an app, you can use this in order to boot into recovery.
* The hard bottom lights not working( Working when you disable automatic brightness]
* Xloud does not turn off
* Undervolting not working ( Not support by the kernel)
* FDN
* Manualy search for providers
* Silence capture sound in camera
* Batery status style- Not showing when you select statusbar option.

Guide to install "Flash player for P500 10.3" 100% working with rom "gingercrust v1.5"
You can check with the web: whatismyflash.com
1. Use the explorer to the root system / app and delete the flash player app for ARMv6.
2. Continue to data / data directory and delete com.adobe.flashplayer.
3. Install flash player for ARMv6 is ok.

The rom's UI is excellent and Its amazingly fast. I dont like the fonts applied. Can someone provide a flashable zip of fonts present in sonygenmod v1.2 ?? Or stock fonts ??

I will not answer any question about the flashing and if Dora's not work. If its not the probably you have done something wrong. This rom has been tested in three different Tom's without problem.

boykioy Flashing doesnt work that is what i said ! Sais : installation aborted !and nothing happens ...tryed with CWM ...

I just feel that instead of opening up a 100 threads, you guys could have put all the roms in one single thread with different version names like fserve has done for his kernels... this makes the development section look cleaner..
Otherwise, a very good rom with a sexy UI and a nice sony look... i liked the rom...

try the following:
a) toggle signature verification
b) if "a" didn't work, redownload the rom and try again

The Home2.3.4-3panel.zip doesn't work, flashed but remains the Arc launcher.

Tomorrow, the .35 kernel version by me is coming!

Install instructions:
- Connect the phone to PC via cable and copy the ZIP with the ROM to SD
- boot into recovery
- Wipe data (factory reset), wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache
- Flash zip from recovery
- Reboot
P.S: First boot will take longer !!

This is the Extended Power Menu
How to Install :
-Reboot intro recovery
-As always, make a backup before flashing.
-You must be using a deodexed ROM for this to work. Also, this replaces framework-res.apk, so this will overwrite any themes you may have installed.
-Flash zip from sdcard
-Reboot.

it's my first rom..and yes it has OC ..just install setcpu or no frills and OC your cpu maybe in the near future I will add a theme

Dropbox sucks for gigantic-sized files. After about 10 downloads it says "not available due to much requests". Happened to me with my first ROM release. Multiupload FTW

Installation Instructions :​
Download and copy the CyberGR-MOD-ver.NS-NGN-4*.zip file into your Nexus S storage
Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery
From mounts and storage select format /boot
From main menu select wipe data/factory reset and wipe/cache partition
Use Dalvik-wiper.zip to wipe Dalvik Cache.You can get it from here : Link 1 or here : Link 2
From main menu select install zip from sdcard then choose zip from storage
Select CyberGR-MOD-ver.NS-NGN-4*.zip and proceed with the setup.
When done!Reboot your device
First boot as expected might be slow but nothing to worry about, its normal.After first boot, before doing anything a reboot is recommended.

PS : First time NSToolls will ask you for superuser permissions, be careful to press ALLOW, then it will come up with a notification saying "some settings have been discarded" blah blah, don`t worry it`s absolutely normal!!Just open NSTools, configure and reboot!!​

Sure mate!You can extract Launcher2.apk from Oxygen 2.3.2 Rom and replace the one on this ROM..It`s under system/app folder!Use root explorer, it`s already there in the rom under the name explorer!!DONE!

I forgot to remove youtube.apk from system/app folder,knowing that cause a problem..You will notice that it`s reported as installed under manage app/all but it`s not present in the application drawer and when you go to download it you can`t remove it - download it or update it..!!
So who has already flash the rom please do these three simple step to solve it :
1. Download titanium backup
2. from backup/restore tab, find youtube and click wipe date and then unistall.
3. go to market again and re-download it.
PS: if u get any FC when u 1st launch youtube just go back to titanium backup and wipe data again.
Sorry for the mismatched guys..already fixed it and uploading again!

Keep in mind the minor bug with youtube.apk i have told in the post above your.s.
Ok, isn`t something to worry about..cause it can be easily fixed as described..
I fixed it and i am re-uploading the CyberGR-MOD-NS*.zip file!!
I will need some time though to upload it in two different hosts cause of my slow-crappy upload speed!!

Its cool to see a new rom that promises to be awesone. However im sticking with my ics rom however looks like this has alot of potential. Great job!

Hi.
I can put the stock kernel in OTA.
Wait a couple of minutes and you will find it in the kernels section.
But my friend way not try a better one such as Siyah?
Edit: OTA has now the Stock Kernel and Siyah Kernel

I understand my friend. But in the App Stweaks in "Dualboot" section you have the option: "No boot logo". Voilá! Problem solved

Thats right. For what I know Stweaks only works in Siyah and Perseus Kernels.

[Rom][JB 4.1.2][V20b] Xensial rom [Quick Note + Eco Mode + More]

Hello everyone
I am writing to share with you my ROM , which arises from the need to have a stable base , not heavy , and customizable.
Having necessarily need a correct operation of the ' MHL but still very happy with the performance of various stock -based ROM , I decided to make one for my account.
Do not expect custom graphics scary ( except for the statusbar ), but a fluid use and lower fuel consumption compared to cm and stock .
This rom's based on F3 by ddfzl

before proceeding to flash we need :
unlocked bootloader
CWM recovery 6.0.x.x
installation :
WARNING ! default data traffic could be active
1 - Copy / move the file xsensial -rom sd - v20b.zip in
2 - make a backup of everything ( recommended) with CWM recovery
3-by recovery proceeding with these steps wipe data / factory reset , wipe cache partition , wipe Dalvik cache , format system
4 - flash xensial - rom- v20b.zip in sd card
5 - restart

What's your background with the LG 4X as you seem to have been very quiet and no posts on our device before now.

Bug=no battery percentage or any battery icon, after i was done with every thing i noticed when i pressed wifi in status bar it keeps going on and off and on and off

If you want the battery icon you have to enable it in the custom setting. For percentage of battery you have to enable it in energy savings> show percent.

Yup, this rom looks alike the one published in angeeks forum by the author ddfzl.
However, if you are able to fix the wifi problem, it is always welcome
Besides, some version also having known bug of incoming call can't link to the phonebook contact and can't show the caller ID.

Try flash the latest warewolf v08 kernel, it may help to keep connect to wifi with higher successful rate.
I found that one big problem of my rom (should similar with this rom too) is once you've connect to wifi, the wifi wakelock is very high, almost 100% running at background eventhough it's turn off. You may use battery stat to check it.

I installed the rom using the steps on the 1st post and my phone now is black when i open the zip file i saw the files is from a kind of backup :/ so now i installed last version of android on my 4x (4.1.2 aka v20b eur)!
in future i will create my custom rom .... now i need some edify_defs for it .... and probably i will port 4.2.2 from another lg (g pro/g2), yes i'm a noob but i learn very fast! my first experience with an android phone was in 2011 :X my first xperia x10i wich i was created my first stock based rom but not for people, only for me now my x10 is dead due the broken motherboard(he reach very fast 50 grade Celsius and restart after 15min of usage ).
Sorry for my bad enghlish
and if you want to create a good stock rom try to open system.ext.tar.a with winrar/7zip and extract system file ......! or give me your backup ... :/

Make a zip for cwm is not a difficult task and I think you know that. I considered using backup created by cwm to prevent to most users problems that I have found in different flash on this device
And I'm referring to black screen after flash cm.10.2, Superex, many rom based on AOKP and stock
