D5833 Model on TMo US LTE - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have been having problems getting LTE on my phone and I think I have found the cause. Apparently there are two models of this phone, the D5803 and D5833. I have read the the 33 model is for Asian markets and 03 is supposed to work for US and Euro markets. Is anyone using the D5833 and succesfully getting LTE to work on T mobile?
I currently have the D5833 and have had no luck getting 4gLTE to work on this phone. plz help

Won't work. Doesn't have the appropriate radio to consistently get LTE in the U.S.

on the list of supported bands of my carrier in my country, and taking a look at these model specifiactions:
LTE 700/800/850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600 - D5803
LTE 700 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 - D5833

I would say that I would be OK with the D5833 model also, am I right?

Yes, and there are 2 types in Australia The GT-I9305 which is the one you can get in europe and is classified the International/Europe Version.. etc.....
And then..
You Have Telstra which brought out the GT-I9305T which is basically the same thing, I really dont think there is a difference, And IF there is a difference (a big IF) it maybe does not have the 2100mhz 3G frequency as telstra has shutdown that part of the 3G network in August.
But other then that it should be exactly the same as the I9305. Everything is compatible between the 2, Kernels, Firmware etccccc
Hope this helps.
Hmm - the service menu in my i9305T shows a choice of WCDMA 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and "IMT2000" - no 2100. Not sure whether that means much....

[Q] Sony C6602 Working in Canada? C6602/3 Speedtests?

Has anyone been able to import a c6602 into Canada and have it working on Rogers or any other carriers 3g network?
Snapshots of speedtests would be awesome...
I would also love to see speedtests of the c6603 in Vancouver with Rogers
I have ordered the c6602 and should be here in Winnipeg by Thurs. I will update how it works on bell as I use it.
I received my c6602 today in winnipeg. I am operating on bell using 850 1900 bands and have speed tests over 8 mbps. I ordered my white c6602 from omegacell.com I think it would be nonsense ordering c6603 considering ppl in GTA have ordered it and do have the lte bands required and lte still doesn't work. Lol. I'm completely satisfied with 8 mbps. .

Forgot to take a screenshot but I have a c6603 and I get about 7 mbps in Vancouver on Rogers. I'm hopeful somehow we can get LTE on this thing. I'm sure missing it.

Where to buy? Sony Xperia Z1 C6906

I have the Xperia Z Ultra, and while it is nice, the camera is horrible.
Anyone know where to buy the Xperia Z1 C6906? Or when it will be available?

C6903 has following bands: LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 - C6903
Does this mean we can use C6903 on AT&T 4G LTE?
Only in areas with band 4, which is very seldom for att
does anyone know where the c6906 model might be available to buy?
or if anyone has one for sale?

I know C6903 runs LTE for T-Mobile and the C6906 runs LTE for AT&T. It may depend on what LTE bands AT&T uses for your area so you'll want to check first.

I can vouch for Omegacell. I have bought several phones from them in the past. Martin is the guy I talk to over there. They do have some of these in stock right now, I believe they are the Bell C6906 version unlocked.

Very nice find. I got supremely impatient and had a friend ship a Sony store unlocked one from Canada for me. I'm curious if the Bell version has any bloatware; for the first time every I've got a phone with no carrier bloatware and I'm loving it!

s the X1 in Sony Canada store actually C6906? They state the model number is Z1GENERIC, so I have no idea if it is or not.

The site may state that, however, it is the C6906 model. The model in the US Sony store is up for debate though, according to their website, it's the C6902 model but that doesn't make too much sense. I guess Sony really doesn't want to market this phone in the US.

I bet that is because of the hardware.
LTE:
C5303: LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600
C5306: 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
For 3G
C5306: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
C5303:HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100
Tmobile USA:
3G: 1700 / 2100
LTE: 1700 / 2100
Source: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4988
So the C5303 doesnt support the needed 1700 band..
Sorry mate
