Changelog
Preview 4.3
• Camera/Torch broken in 4.2 now fixed. Qcom selinux branch changes caught many off guard in many devices including my build. This was fixed by importing qcom selinux policy mk file into our device tree.
• Massive revamp in fstab & init files by slayher. Initially we thought because of this change, it may require a new recovery but proven that existing recovery works just fine. In any case, I've built all variants of recovery with this new change but I've not decided to release since existing ones works fine.
• Multiuser is now active since PREVIEW 4.2
• Recents panel clear all button by Cristiano Matos - Option for left or right.
• Remove carrier provisions pushed by tattooboy to fix tmo wifi tethering
• Major changes in how default CM Package is presented. IT IS NOW ODEXed by default. Now a build stands at 298.3 MB compared to about 257 MB from last build. Probably bad news for themers.
• Updated cm sources

Lastest Build Changelog--

MY SD Card Isn't Working
- Format the SD Card in recovery to Ext4 (from FAT) and it should be good to go. Besides, who likes the 3.9GB file limit of FAT anyways
Recommended Trickster Settings
- MPdecision -> Off
- Intelliplug -> On
Work In Progress. Will be updated as comments are added.
• Stock messaging app - send button stays disabled no matter what. Use a 3rd party application for now. Receiving MMS using the stock application works, but sending does not.
• Cannot hang up from phone call - airplane mode or reboot is the only way to hang up. [Sprint Only?]
• Data reported not working for some users.
• Ringing is faint and sometimes no visual indication of a call is present. Fixed, but not implemented in Preview 4.1.
• Laggy game graphics.
• When selecting music (mp3) as alarm ringtone, the standard ringtone overrides the selection.
• Weekdays alarms are shifted one day further; If you select "s" for Sunday the alarm rings on Monday. If you select Monday the alarm rings on Tuesday, etc.
• Carrier Settings FC.
• Display Settings FC.
• Wake device using home button no working.

MY SD Card Isn't Working

- NTFS formatting also works, but SD card is no longer detectable in recovery.
Help! Miscellaneous is draining my battery!

/* Native Xposed support */
Current Xposed for Android 5.0 Lollipop replaces ART native libraries/binaries upon installation which may cause compatibility and performance decrease.
Now I'm glad to bring you native Xposed support for Temasek ROM.
For installation, please check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 before continuing.
Follow the installation instructions from the upper link, but instead of using the recovery flash zip file provided by rovo89,
please install the following zip instead - http://arter97.iptime.org:8080/browse/Xposed/
This zip is built from source with both Temasek's modification and Xposed support in mind, thus giving better compatibility and (maybe) better performance.
This is also patched to install an additional addon.d script to make Xposed files are kept during nightly upgrades.

Yes. Same.
@arter97 - Good work!! More lolli's for the i9300; nom nom. Little suggestion... The uploaded file name ought to include build number/version, or alternatively another way of judging whether the build date matches current version/build number adjacent to that on this thread. Since atm the thread indicates the latest by build version i.e. "Build Version: V3.5.1", and not by date.
Example: cm-12-V3.5.1-YYYYMMDD-UNOFFICIAL-i9300.zip
Thank you developers. downloading it ..
This is v3.4.1 or 3.5.1? Because the the twitter version was 3.4.1....
Nice. Tema's rom was awesome on cm10 and 11.
Just a few things:
- It might be convinient to see what the differences are compared to normal cm12 (which will be very minor at this point). I know that temasek used to cherrypick from different roms as well.
-What are you planning for kernel? Are you using stock cm kernel, or are you planning to bundle it with your own kernel? Temasek had a seperate kernel when he had his s3. Just wondering what you are planning.
It will be great to see this Rom and Archidroid based on cm12 go head to head. Thanks for keeping the s3 alive.
I am flashing right now. BTW flashing took a really long time with TWRP 2.8.3.0 (Not the booting part, i know that takes time, but the actual flashing took several minutes).
Edit:
And it still has DSP manager !!!!! So much nicer than AudioFX

Personally I don't see custom ROMs as competitors and we shouldn't actually.
Like it, use it. Don't like, move on. It's freedom of choice. I'm in pretty good relations with @arter97 and I am sure we can both work hand in hand to make users enjoy yet again on your I9300.
Remember @arter97 is the one who brings u the finished product to enjoy. I'm merely working in the background. So let's give @arter97 the support which many have given me.
Regards
Temasek
I try this rom yesterday. When you @arter97 post the download link (mega) on twitter. After 1 day using this rom i experience some bug :
- music player goes fc after playing some music/song
-experience some graphical glitches when playing video/game
Another that working fine for me. (At least until now)
I can said this is the best lollipop ROM i ever tried. It's running verry smooth no lag and freeze/random reboot. Thanks.

I haven't flashed this yet, (I'm waiting on the kltespr build), but the contacts fc issue COULD be related to the Facebook app. It's a known issue on 5.0 TW ROMs. If that's the case, it's not the ROM, it's the app. I've not come across a fix for it yet...

I don't have facebook installed though
@albinoman887, thanks very much man. the rom's running smooth so far. incallui seems fixed finally as was running cm12.1-20150327. havent run into the contacts issue yet, i don't use the facebook app and i see what you mean. dialer has a bit of lag when making a call. messaging seems fine. keyboard in messaging has been fixed, phew. battery life was better on cm12.1-20150327 because after 10hrs phone used about 10% with little to no use and today on cm12.1-20150328 it's used about 6% in about half hour
i think i'll use this as my daily driver. i can live with the bugs, my bedroom has more, haha. we have had to sacrifice much of the functionality of the phone because we are rebels and we want progress, that's how i see myself anyway, i eat apples and break windows, lol.
i'm running stock cm12.1-20150328,
no mods,
few apps from playstore,
minimal gapps 5.1 from vinman's thread, i think,
recovery is twrp 2.8.5, on
sm-g900f
i fully wiped as in factory reset -> format data -> wipe davlik, system, data, internal storage, cache -> install. not run into issues except when i accidentally wiped my efs folder (took a month of stressing, nearly crying coz i couldn't update, searching, searching and searching some more).
Battery life and performance is pretty okay, thanks for the great work Albinoman
Great great great build! Only strange thing is that Google Messenger doesn't work properly.
I know its a preview/alpha Release and its works great.
But FYI: sync all contacts via Google and every contacts crash.

MY SD Card Isn't Working
- Format the SD Card in recovery to Ext4 (from FAT) and it should be good to go. Besides, who likes the 3.9GB file limit of FAT anyways
- NTFS formatting also works, but SD card is no longer detectable in recovery.
Help! Miscellaneous is draining my battery!
Miscellaneous itself is not some mystical process that drains battery. It's showing the difference between estimated battery drain and actual battery drain (so more like a summation of all of the miscellaneous processes that drained the battery unexpectedly).
Work In Progress. Will be updated as comments are added.
If you are experiencing any issues and have performed a dirty flash, please try a clean flash prior to posting your question. Thank you!
If you have an issue and want require help, please submit a kmsg log with the following information:
Note: Do not pull out battery or else no log; this log can be located at: /proc/last_kmsg
When Possible, Please Include:
- Instructions to recreate the error you encountered.
- Any other relevant information (i.e. Kernel version/Build, etc.).

I encounter a smoothness-issue with one specific animation. If you enter Settings and e.g. WLAN - and THEN press the back-button - that animation is not smooth somehow. Can you check that? Everything else is very smooth with V. 9.7 and Kernel 5.2. Thanks for this!
Tried dirty flash over Temasek 9.6 and kernel 5.2, got system UI FC over and over again, not allowing boot to proceed.
Next I wiped device, installed rom, kernel and supersu. Booted device, after successful boot I flashed PA GAPPS, now there is no problem. Great work as always Arter.
Flashing 5.3 kernel now, will observe smart watch performance.
Also I'm on Philz recovery.

I got the same.
If I got to settings and press back, then animation is smooth.
But if I got to settings and one level deeper (any level or sub menu), and press back then first animation is not smooth, but second is smooth as before.
Everything works for me except video recording and playback.
Playback is particularly annoying. I have had this problem with 5.0.1 as well.

Sorry if made this unclear and misleading. By default, I meant, without having to flash custom Kernels or anything to enable it. Because I've heard on some CM12.1 thread which is the 5.1 Weekly 2, the only way you can enable it on the settings menu is by flashing a custom Kernel. I just got so used to it. I'm just clarifying things. Thank you so much for you quick response!

No, you don't have to flash any custom kernel to get on-screen navigation bar. This rom has the feature embedded within it.

Thanks working good, perfect
Does anyone here know of a tool to determine why a phone doesn't go into deep sleep? The reason I'm asking this is that I installed this ROM and the phone doesn't go into deep sleep that much. I just want to eliminate any possible app as being the culprit for the problem.
Also when I try to use CPU-Z to look at the information about the phone, the phone reboots... every time. Can anyone help me identify WHY that happens?

To run deep sleep put these lines at the build.prop:
pm.sleep_mode=1
ro.ril.power_collapse=1
Don't forget to adjust then the build.prop permission before restarting.
EDIT: Nevermind! Turns out that using EXT4 for your external SD card isn't a smart move! Crisis averted. ROM works like a charm!
Now get that rearcam working and I'll sing your praises from Amsterdam to Zürich, @jackeagle!

Ka81, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't ask for updates with a public message! If you absolutely NEED to know, then send a private message to Jackeagle!
I know we've been waiting for a while for a stable, fully functional ROM for our S5 Mini, but spamming the board asking for an update gets people like me hopeful that there is an update from jackeagle and we then have to live with the disappointment that it is NOT.

You wanna know status of fixing ask @kaiodduarte everyday day and night I m giving test builds to him in order of trying fixing Camera .. Its not a easy task has Samsung never released Sensor sources in their any kernel source So please do not ask same question again and again i know all need camera but there is no other way then waiting .. you are on user side hence your happy but when you see developer side work it is lot lot lot tough .. just wait and be happy that atleast there is some development for this device now when comparing past were all were making threads asking for any developer to develop cm ..
