I believe, network unlocking will only work with an unlock code. So you have to buy one.
Unlocking the bootloader wont help in this situation.
Anyway, if you have a Droid, then your bootloader is not locked by default, but if you have a Milestone, theres a bad news, you cant unlock its bootloader.

I am on official JB and want to root. Will there be a method at some point to root it without unlocking the bootloader? What do the experts think - I know you cant look into the future, but what are your experiences from other phones, is it very likely that there will be sth. or not?
The other method would be to unlock the bootloader. So do you expect that the bootloader logo can be exchanged again at some point?

So, I'm in a really silly situation but this summer I tried to flash roms to get rid of my storage issues on my phone, the bootloader is unlock but does it mean that FRP is unlock too? Because I don't remember unlocking this thing and I need this to be unlock to flash roms. Is there a way to check if this thing is unlock ?
