As you know, Google Nexus 6 by Motorola will have preorder from Oct 29, but there are no source on when exactly if is by 12AM (after 11:59PM from 10/28) and I see that many people are taking base from last year that was in a afternoon.

Nobody knows otherwise we would have stated it already. Best guess is same time as last year but that might change. That's all we know right now. No need to speculate any further.
Be prepared to be on the computer all day. Oh, and don't forget to spam f5!

I remember F5'ing the Play Store at the rumored time of N5 launch. For 10 minutes I didn't see anything posted. My friend told me the order site was actually somewhere else. I got my order in before they were out, even when I was not there at launch.
I don't know about the N6 but I'd say don't sweat it if you are not there at the exact time.

Pushbullet is awesome. It'll automatically send to your phone and then there is an extension for Chrome and I think firefox that'll show a popup too on your computer. It even shows every email and message I get on my phone on my computer.

I was referring that the step of the Reddit publishing included a "16GB version" which I too believe is wrong.
So I haven't seen a clear answer, what time is the Nexus 6 likely to be up for preorder on Google Play?

Last year Nexus 5 was 2pm Eastern time = 11am Pacific time where Google headquarters are.

By the way for anyone who has their TNT tracking information, you need to track the reference number as a "Customer Reference" not as a "Consignment Number" (which is the default). Also the website would only work properly for me in IE.

I do not want to be the asshole here but should we really support someone who has not enough money to buy the glasses to take a loan to get them? I think we should help op rethink this they will be avaible in a cheaper and more consumer ready version within a year or something. but his loan will be influenceing him for at least that time. if you haven't $1500 as playmoney you should never spend it on something like that use ur money for education so that you have 1500$ as playmoney soon.

if 1500$ is nothing for you and really just playmoney you would spend on random stuff anyway the glasses could be right for you.... if it would hurt you in any way please remember they will be update with a lot more functunallity within a year you will still have the 1500$ old ones.

1) If you actually get your order to go through (unlikely but possible), you may or may not get charged. Then a few days later your order may or may not get randomly cancelled.
2) 2-day shipping means when it is shipped you will get it in 2 days. It doesn't account for processing time.
3) After you order, it may take hours or days for you to get order confirmation
4) Some people will get shipping notifications but some won't. Do NOT call Google to ask when it will get shipped. They have no clue and will just make up information.
5) Getting the shipping notice means they created a shipping label but it may take days for it to actually ship.
6) Don't read these order threads on XDA because it will just make you go mad. If you get a order confirmation, sit back and relax because there is nothing you can do but wait for it to come. Google will not ship these in any type of order. And calling Google will just increase the chances they screw up your order. Relax while everyone on XDA freaks out and claims the world is coming to an end. Then enjoy your N5 when it comes a week or two later.

That would be awesome the service at my house sucks and the Airwave drains the already poor internet speed. The only drawback to living in an older neighborhood is the networks do not upgrade services as often.
Looks like its for the triband version and not the regular GS4.

Ya know. GS5 comes out next week. About 1/2 of us will upgrade. That phone will have this function anyways. This and the fact GS5 will have triband... = awesome. My only problem is... um.... year old phone shouldn't be old news just yet at $470... but I have an upgrade so.... maybe.

Okay so I had the purchase date of the gs4 off by 2 weeks. I ordered mine like may 22 and received it about a week later.
One last thing. I'm not a troll at all. Look at my profile. I've got 7000+ posts and 2100+ thanks. I may come off harsh sometimes (not saying like right now), but with certain things that have already been answered and discussed it gets tiring seeing the same thing over and over again.

Um. Comes out next week could mean a lot of things (totally a general term as I keep reading my words in relation to unpacked/actual release date). All I meant was that Sumsung is having the Unpacked 5 for Galaxy S5 next week. And anyone with an internet connection should know that... as it is a huge deal. Weather or not it is going to have LTE/3G/WiFi/Triband calling and/or any other features is unknown until Monday or whenever Sprint actually releases it due to its difference of TriBand, CDMA and currently $30 for unlimited data from other Carriers in the US.
Food for thought when upgrading:
We will get to learn Knox all over again. YAY fun.
Might be better to wait for October as Android/Google might come out with a 64 bit version of Android and then the GS5 might be incompatible with an update.
But we can only guess this stuff until October. Unless someone has some facts that I clearly don't know.... lol.

Dan... this gives you no right to be bitter. I could sit here and post as many post as you, as I work from home and really could sit at the computer or on my phone and post stuff just as easily. My thanks are half as much as my post because I do my research and I help when I can. I write a lot in one post usually and that can be annoying to some who don't want a book. I choose not to write all the time for the simple fact that I am tired of trolls and flamers, and I accept that you are not a Troll. I saw that you have that many post and thanks when you replied - and honestly my first thought was- what is this guy doing. If anything I hope this humbles you a bit. We are all people and MOST of us deserve respect... even the noobs. Do not think I am giving you any credit because that was crap. I spend most of my time looking at Pocketnow, Phonearena, Android police and other tech news sites. I have also started dabbling in writing code but only minor stuff. And to anyone who condones tearing someone a new one just for generally speaking (Thanks)... I wish there was a negative thanks because Dan- you deserve at least one.

do you have the NEW phone?
this can easily be done with most current phones, i think they are talking about the new triband where it wont be compatible

You can be on the phone AND use data IF you have 4G data connection (or wifi of course).

they say its possible that the new ones and/or ones coming off insurance claims may have the super duper spark antennaes
So, with all the pre-orders and people finding that it's going to be hard to get one any time soon, when will stock be available? To me, this just sounds like a ploy to build up a buzz about "who can get the N6 first" and then release it in normal numbers after the hype has been promoted.
So, if I come back in a month or two, will normal stock numbers make the device easier to get?
Benefits of waiting:
* By waiting, any issues with hardware/software will be brought out by the numerous early adopters.
* By waiting, if there are updates to the software or hardware that need to be released, they will be by the time late-market adopters get in on the action
* By waiting, more accessories may be introduced into the market as some accessory makers wait to see what the reception of a device is into the market before releasing accessories
* By waiting, more stock and therefore, better pricing may occur (although this one is a stretch even on a good day)
Cons of waiting:
* You don't get the device before anyone else (not really a big deal if you've got a perfectly good working device, after all for a lot of us, smartphones are a luxury not a necessity, YMMV)
* You don't get the latest and greatest tech immediately (see previous point)
I just see more benefits to waiting than in running out and getting this just because it's "new"
Of course, this is my opinion, yours may be different.

the last two weeks google started pre-orders at 1:15pm EST, and sold out around 1:17pm EST.

Yeah I'm using the Canadian Pushbullet (so far no updates, lol). But I've been following the USA PushBullet, just for fun, and it seems like from last week, the "Out Of Stock" notification comes MERE seconds after the In Stock notification, lol, I really will need to be really fast. Specially if this is a worldwide pre-order. I would hate to have to wait an extra week to place an order
