Color/temp shift from left to right - Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Q&A, Help & Troublesh

I notice a definite color temp shift most noticeabl on a solid white, or the keyboard. Left side keys are cool slate gray right side more tan gray and lighter. Defective? This is my second, the first battery was draining unusually fast....but screen looked much better with no variation.
Thanks!

replace it

My first one had the same thing at the top. Manager at Verizon replaced it. Bad led or something.

Well, now I don't know if I should get this replaced. Took a picture with it on an all white screen...

oh really thats not good i cant try it till i find my phone
they wont even work on my hero lol
Doesn't work on my vogue either, it's way to big and where the eye is supposed to be is a big white circle with four little eyes every once in awhile.
It needs to be reformatted to fit our screen sizes. I think that is the problem.

thanks yall for the comments
works about 10% of the time- the other 90% its a white circle. looks to me like a poor rendering job. potentially eating up all the resources and when it cant load fast enough it turns into a white spot. i like the concept though- has potential to be something truly cool

HTC One Sliding Apart!

I've just noticed the front layer of my One is sliding away form the body below. Imagine the top layer is the screen and speaker grilles, the middle layer the white band and the bottom the layer the body.
The top layer has twisted slightly and you can see the top two layers are not quite in line. In the bottom corner the middle layer is slightly exposed.
Unfortunately, I don't have anything to take pictures to show.
Has anyone heard of this problem before? I'm thinking it can only get worse.
Thanks
Take a picture in the mirror, i would definitely like to see this.
This is weird. Need to see this
Never heard of a phone doing like this

I don't know exactly what you are talking about, but the phone is held together with adhesives so I don't doubt it. please take pictures.
Sadly, I'm travelling at the moment so can't get the pics everyone is craving . As soon as I found a decent camera, I'll put something up
In for nud..... I mean pics

[Q] Display issue

Just got this phone today and notice an area where there is a reddish tint. It is a 2 inch horizontal band in the center of the display most noticeable on white backgrounds. Is this something that might go away after a break in period? Has anyone seen this before?
I am having a similar issue to the one you describe. Mine has a bit more of a pinkish hue, and it is at the bottom of 1-2 inches of the screen. Shows up more on white backgrounds. Trying to decide if I should get a replacement or not. It's very subtle, but I can definitely see it.

I'm thinking about returning as well, but afraid that I'll get one that is worse.

Yeah my bad took it with my N7!
But yes just to the left of the middle there is a think black line where its sort of faded, shows up on anything grey...Kind of annoying.

Either it's the fault of the ROM or it's happening due to screen burn-in

Question Shadows on screen... bug ?

Hi there !
I have the Pixel 7 and i'm very happy with it.
I've noticed something weird yesterday :
When my phone is beneath full sun and when looking at a white front page, i see 3 sorts of shadows. 2 on the top right and 1 little in the middle. I see them only in full sun condition.
I wonder if it's a screen bug or if it's a material shadow under the screen (camera material reflexion ?...)
Thanx for your help.
this pic is not mine, but it's just to show you the shadows location

It's the proximity sensor under the camera, and other sensors. We all have them. It's normal.
Thanx for your help ! Glad to read that. But its true that once i see those shadows, i always see them !
This is how it looks on my Pixel 7 which was delivered today (i had to exchange it due to some defect and didn't recognized it before with the previous device).
I was really shocked as i have seen that. That's where i started searching the web for this.
But is that really state of the art quality of such display panels? I just wonder if really each Pixel 7 has this.
It seems the display panel of the Pixel 6 at least does not have this big shadow which looks like a big battery symbol on the top right corner. This big shadow annoys me the most.
