Hello everyone,
I have xposed installer so i can use multiwindow. It has some issues but still is great :good:
I have noticed though that when i try to change my wallpaper from a photo in my gallerythe screen splits to 2 and when i set the wallpaper is set on the top half of the screen leaving the rest black.
Anyone had again the same issue? Any ideas how to solve it??
Please note that when i unistall the xposed framework i don't have that problem

Does this still happen if you disable all modules? If not, then it's a module specific issue, and you should ask in its support thread.

Does the problem still happen with all modules disabled (without uninstalling Xposed)?

Which ROM are you on? Also make sure to check the Xposed FAQ (this might fix your issue, even though it's not necessarily the same).

I was wandering if someone could build a xposed module to fix the lg keyboard on the lg g2 ? It seems that when the framework is installed it breaks the lg keyboard on the lg g2
Have you checked if it's the framework (doubtful) or some module (much more likely) that's causing this breakage? Disable all modules and reboot, then see if it's still broken or not. If not, it's not related to the framework. Figure out what module is causing the problem (enable them one by one, reboot, rinse and repeat) and report it in the appropriate module's thread.

Yes it ended up being gravity box that was causing the problem but I use a lot of the tweaks in gravity box so I'm sticking with Google keyboard till there's a fix thanks for the help

Well it seems any module I install breaks the lg keyboard was wandering if x there is a fix for it

OK I narrowed it down to g2 tweaksbox 2.2 when I turn it off lg keyboard works and sorry for the noob question but how do I get the logcat for just g2 tweaksbox

If you don't know, it's best to post the logcat as is and let the developer check it. Filtering can remove necessary information that may have the app's name on every line.
Hi
I bought ZR 2 months ago. Updated to rooted 4.4.2 rooted rom yesterday. When I install xposed installer 2.6.1 and done all installations, it dosent show any error. But when i install any modules and rebooted it shows "Unfortunately system ui has stopped".
"How to fix?"

Hi Bro,
The following are the modules I used.
Gravitybox - KK, Xblast, Smooth system progress, Xperia xposed, Xperia FMwoHS, Xad, Xvolume, Xperia multiple mini apps, Swipeback, Status bar volume,Semc phone patcher, Screen off animation, Multiple mini apps,Greenify, Gapps crash fix, Eggster, Double tap to sleep, Disable location consent, Cyber shot xposed.

As you are using multiple module it is difficult to identify the issue causing module.
So disable all module, enable 1 module and reboot and see, then enable 1 and 2, and so on. so that we can filter down the issue. :good:

I did that method. But it didnt work...

Ok. Did you tried enabling only one module at a time?
Whether SystemUI is working if all module is disabled? If yes then some combination of module is not working. We can get info from the logcat and filter down the issue. But I have no idea how to use & identify using logcat :angel::angel:

If I install xposed installer alone it works fine. But if I install any one module it shows system ui has stopped working... Now I have downgraded to 4.3 because it supports xposed without any errors..

Bro...
Found the culprit its the xperia xposed jelly bean dition that caused these troubles...
Install xperia xposed kitkat version ...

I used xposed for long time now and Avira also and I never had any problems with but unfortunately yesterday I installed xposed on the new PA build and now Avira gets FC and it shows me a notification where it says that there is an error. I will attach the full logcat and also the one which is filtered to only show avira specific errors.

Seems to be the same issue. It worked for the last couple months without problems but now it keeps crashing.

So its something in cm maybe, like the bug with the settings app and themes, where the settings restored to the stock look if xposed was installed. Lets find a rom with build date before Jully then, until it gets fixed..

Yep good idea by the way I am not using CM I use PA, which was released a week ago I think.

I dont know if you notice it but both apps have the same crash reporting framework, ACRA, can you check in your logcat if there is any other app that use it? Maybe there is the problem, and if yes, we have good chances to fix it...

For now I didn't found anything but there is an issue open at the github from ACRA https://github.com/ACRA/acra/issues/161 maybe someone answer it and we can fix it.

I can confirm that this cause the bug, after disable "advenced crash report" on the setting of wifi protector, everything is ok.. Its funny, a crash reporting tool, cause crashes...

That's funny sadly I can't disable ACRA in Avira so for now I need to disable xposed or use another Antivirus software. Maybe @rovo89 could look into the error and hopefully he is able to fix that.

Can you upload the folder of avira under /data/data? Maybe there is an .xml with settings and has an option also for ACRA..

I looked into it myself but no xml with ACRA related stuff. The only thing I found is a folder named files and there all ACRA stuff is stored there. But unfortunately there are a few logs that doesn't help and a file called ACRA-INSTALLATION but there is only an ID I think. So nothing helpful it seems that I have to change my Antivirus until this is fixed.
It's indeed ironic...ACRA crashes during initialization, then crashes again while trying to report its own crash.
I have decompiled Wifi Protector and found out that it's using a very old version of ACRA. Have a look at this issue: https://code.google.com/p/acra/issues/detail?id=138
It was fixed in October 2012 and prevented crashes that could occur if one of the fields in the Configuration is null.
If this has started to happen recently (on or after Jun 30), it's likely the same root cause described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/cm11-themes-issue-caused-xposed-t2803025
(but again, the main bug is in the old version of ACRA)
Alright, so I've had black boxes in certain things and I don't know what caused them, they appeared after some Xposed stuff I did but I don't remember what, here are the screenshots. Any help would be appreciated
A screen of currently installed Xposed modules would be helpful - probably you installed something that messed up colors

Hi
I'm using a Samsung s8, rooted from android 9 with no custom rom flashed. My magisk modules do not work at all. I tried to install YouTube vanced and the module installed but youtube vanced wasn't anywhere on my device despite following all the directions. I even tried installing and using substratum and had the module installed but substratum themes would work at all, even tried installing another module that would silence my camera shutter sounds also didn't work. I can't unistalll modules, cause when I click unistalll and reboot my phone they don't get unistallled and the only to unistalll them is to boot to recovery and manually delete them there. I tried again with substratum after deleting the module but now I can't install the module for some reason. Please help
I think some of matter will be solved in next upgrade.

Problem is I've had this issue way before this update, I just updated it thinking it would solve my issue but it hasn't
Logs! At least provide something to go on or there will likely never be a fix (if there's anything to fix).

I'm honestly still confused... What module list? And without at least a Magisk log (and preferably module install logs) it's hard to say what the issue actually is.

I see nothing wrong there. Those modules have simply not been updated in a while. Doesn't mean they don't work or that there's anything wrong...
