EDIT: windy build is uploading. Should be there in a few minutes.
Please remind, it is very unstable and untested. It is totally not ready for daily use.

cool.
For me the rom is almost usable. The most annoying issue is that the display sometimes don't wakes up after going to sleep.

And then how did you wake it up?

I think the issue is that the kernel can't command the display backlight. I look into this next.

Just flashed, it's really fast!!! everything seems to be okay now. My tablet is WiFi 32 GB, but it just recognized 16 GB
As you mentioned, the most annoying issue is the screen refuses to wake.
Thanks for bringing this to tablet z.

Guys, this ROM is really fast, try this. Here are some workaround for the known issues:
- use screen filter to adjust the brightness: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.haxor
- use knockr app to prevent screen from enter deepsleep of death.

Really nice to see that we get 5.0 on the z. Keep up the good work!

I uploaded a new kernel. It should fix sensors so screen rotation works now.

HA !!! Root is working !!!
How to root this incredible ROM:
copy Chainfires SuperSU.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...20&postcount=1 on your SD
enable Developer-Options by clicking the Buld.Nr. in Settings ---> about Device/Phone/Tablet
flash it via Recovery
reboot
when recovery says: " Fix root"; say yes

Yes. And I don't know how to fix at the moment
It's a lot of try and error.

Silly question alert but is there a way of getting this as a secondary rom in multirom at all?

This question isn't that silly.
I also thought about that already. In the system.img form it's not possible. But it should be possible to package the things up in a flashable zip.
Then it could work. I will try it today. I don't get further with the not working features. So I try this.

I installed via Recovery but the phone wouldn't boot..
I saw the Doomskernel was booting (the previous I had)
Pulled of the battery, extracted boot.img from your zip and installed it via fastboot
The phone still won't boot...
Did I do something wrong?
Thank you so much for your work. But i should tell that. Your website is so slow. I have to reload the same page several times to be able to see it. Also it was really hard for me to find original download page and link for the rom.And if you want more testers at least you can use screenshots on first message too.
I wish this project would go on Thanks again.

The provided kernel just wont boot. I flashed it twice through fastboot, everything went fine and when I reboot the phone, the screen just stays black for hours. Someone here had the same problem, I'm afraid that maybe the download it's just too slow and unstable (took 2 hours to download) making some files corrupt while downloading. I'm just guessing can someone help? This ROM looks so awesome.

Perhaps it need a different baseband..? I tried .64 and .56 already and the screen keeps staying in black.

Guys can we merge these two threads into one? As it's confusing to have two threads about the same thing:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/development/official-cyanogenmod-13-zuk-z1-ham-t3297293
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/general/rom-t3297289
As we are not developing the official CM Nightly we should keep this thread and just discuss about it here. I think there is no need for this thread in development. Please decide and merge it. Thanks.

Going to call moderator for two reasons :
- How will you build LineageOS without "building" it, you're just using a LineageOS builded by other dev and you just changed boot.img
- You didn't asked me permission for that.

Semi Treble. Treble flag kicked out but u should flash factory2vendor.
how about this rom?
I used this rom with daily driver and it worked great.
- VoLTE works great!
- UTouch button sometimes stops reacting. No backward tap or swiping possible then. Press to Home is fixing it.
- When using DualSim after reboot you always are requested to choose the default data sim card. Somehow the setting does not survive the reboot
- Fingerprint setup is bugged when setting up for the first time. You need a bit time and patience, after some trials it finally works
- It is supersmooth, better than RR 6.1 compared with same setup.
- Selinux permissive prevents some Banking apps to work. So was mine. It is the only reason I needed to go back to RR with my daily driver.
This Rom is pretty good already. Less bugs, smooth, will become a pretty good Pie rom for our beloved Z2 Pro

Try to follow Terminator.J tutorial to pass Safetynet.

Awesome ROM, will have a try later to see the different between RR 8.1.0 and this ROM, thanks!
Lovely rom
@mracar a really awesome rom, just if we can in the next release separate ringtone from notification tone would be gr8.
So far running extra smooth...thank you for the good work
One more question, may I know if this ROM be dirty installed from RR 6.2.1? How about the SDCARD partition? Is it needed to be erase before installing? I'm now in RR 6.2.1, thanks!
