All packages contains backup-script, so you dont have to flash gapps, everytime you flash a new build.
Many Thanks to @Deltadroid for making these.

Post used to list all the issues of this ROM. Discontinued due to CM12.1

Testing ASAP.

Nice! Does the kernel include a cwm recovery?
Looking forward to see the other features working

There is a recovery but it seems to be stock one (Sony or AOSP, I don't know exactly). Doesn't seem to allow zip installs though. But if you need a recovery you can still flash a boot.img with one, do what you want, then flash back the CM12 boot.img.

great work
:good: infected_ thank you

Sorry. Found this thread now haha. 3g data works on your 1120 build for me... And Bluetooth too...
---------- Post added at 09:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:59 PM ----------
Well Bluetooth partially works. Finds devices but fails at connecting...
---------- Post added at 09:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:03 PM ----------
Data works splendid for me. LTE full speed. This is awesome!!
---------- Post added at 09:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:06 PM ----------
Telephony works too as long as u use a headset.

Well with infected and the other guys working hard to give us daily driver lolipop build, i think they will get it pretty soon great dev's working hard and doing epic job.

Sickest part is that video works on cm12 without glitches that most cm11 builds have. Example instagram. U play a video and try to replay it the pic stands still. Not on cm12. Awesome.
---------- Post added at 10:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:26 PM ----------
God DAMN it!!! Warning... Don't wipe data on the supplied stock aosp5 cwm. You will have your internal memory card wiped... WIPED!!! Well so much for nandroid backup...

Well data with full LTE definitely works out of the box. Nice!
Even restoring my apps using Titanium Backup works great after installing SuperSU beta 2.25

Great break through! Congratulations for all the Z2 owners.

I'm on stock 4.4.4 with unlocked bootloader. So I assume I would need to flash nuts dual recovery and just erase system, cache, and dalvik and then flash cm12 and gapps all at once or do I run gapps after initial start up then fastest a cm11 boot.Img for recovery and then flash gapps?

It's far more easier. Install a recovery. Boot into recovery. Factory reset (wipe data, not sdcard). Install cm12, gapps and SuperSU and you're done.

AOKP JB-MR1 Android 4.2.2
Samsung 'cooper' Galaxy Ace
by
AOKP Legacy Team
This ROM is an almost pure AOKP for our Ace device. It is based on fresh Android 4.2.2_1.2 sources, current AOKP sources and portions of AndroidARMv6 and CyanogenMod sources.
It's still in its development stage, but recently it got quite stable and good for an everyday usage. If you have any issues, please report, using as many details, as possible. Saying just "doesn't work" won't help anybody...
Also, please DON'T report things mentioned in "known problems" below.
For general talk, non-dev related, please go here.

This ROM was possible thanks to our big Open Source family, we're still here, against all those, who broke off and went closed. So, many, really many thanks for all of you guys!

FAQ:
- will PSN mod work with this ROM? Yes, it's perfectly working.
- will Link2SD app work? Yes, it works without issues. This is a recommended way of work.
- will Swapper2 work? Yep!
- does CRT animation work? BTW, I can't get why it's so important... but yes, it's working from the first boot.
- can I use Adrenaline/SuperCharger/whatever "tweaks" scripts? Well, you can do whatever you want, but if you will use anything like this, do not bother reporting me any bugs. Is that enough for an answer?
- is BLN working? Yes.
- what the hell happened to Erik??! Nothing, he's fine. We are working together on AOKP.
- how can I add more ringtones/alarms/notification sounds? You can store them on a SD card in:
Code:
media\audio\alarms\
media\audio\notifications\
media\audio\ringtones\
Changelog:
2013.04.28
aokp_cooper-20130428.zip (113.5 MB)
- SU binaries fixed
- Settings FC fixed
- Toggles for "sound state" and "screenshot" fixed
- First steps in installer persistence settings
- Permissions Manager
- other small bugfixes and additions
- synced to official AOKP sources
- file manager added
Known problems:
- after finishing a startup configurator (after flashing), you have to press a Home button to continue.
- trying to play music causes DSPManager FC. After that it plays music normally, only without DSP.
- AOKP Torch still not working.
- native FM radio doesn't work.
- SWAG Papers don't work
- Live Wallpapers don't load
compatible Google Apps: gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
however the basic gapps services are included in the ROM, so flashing it is not required.

Unfortunately, no - the sources have been upgraded from 4.2.2_r1 to 4.2.2_r1.2.
I just upgraded without wiping. What will be the issues? It seems everything is working fine, it is a great rom!

To be honest, I can't predict it... API has changed, but maybe upgrading process got better these days
Few FC here and there, nothing to worry about, but I loved Eric's work, and I know that you're gonna make this AOKP flawless! Keep up with excelent work!
Can someone confirm if Swap option is available in this ROM.
What about smoothness? How's the Rom performing?

Omnirom / CM / AOKP 4.4.4 on Mini2 [FINAL // who takes over?]

Please take in consideration:
The rom is tested on my GT-6500D. In theory it should run on similar devices, but as I cannot test and reproduce that, I cannot maintain for those

It is my goal to bring omnirom to our device. Please donot ask for any features from other custom roms
Please donot mirror any of my downloads

Problem is not in sdcards. Problem is cache is not mounted. Which is a kind of strange as earlier today it did work..
As I stated, will rebuild clean from scratch and test when I wake up.
And no, I will not swap sdcards.

[Kernel][CM11]Vatsal's Kernel v3

Hello guys,
After roaming around almost a year and half around xda, doing something fruitful
Here i present my first CM11 based kernel,
Disclaimer : You installed Kernel ,on your device ,I am not responsible .
If you installed kernel ,on a device ,without reading instructions ,I don't give a Damn !
Warning : I don't support Nandroid Restore
Attempting to use Nandroid Restore can lead to a perma brick .
Consider Nandroid to be permanently broken on this kernel.
Features :
100 mb shrinked from system to /data (For more internal memory ofcourse )
cache reduced to 8mb
Some touch tweaking (11 mb more ram Thanks @Dark Raven )
Toolchain used:
Linaro 4.7 by @Wedgess
Unique Feature
Modified partition layout which works flawless as far as my knowledge .
One Layout is maintains original system Layout ,The rest of 5 layouts come with Modified System Layout .
All Kernels have 8 MB cache partition so by default roughly 90MB bump in /Data is seen .
The best results with latest LX builds
-CM11.0-
Changelog:
Code:
V3
-- 201401227--
Reclaimed 66 mb more space
Same as LX 20140122 LX CM11 build
V2
-- 201401227--
Reclaimed 6 mb more space
Same as LX 20140122 LX CM11 build
V1
-- 20140122 --
Like in 20140122 LX CM11.0 build.
Steps to be followed:
Flash kernel (boot.img)
Boot to recovery, do all the wipes (data, cache, system, dalvik)
flash the rom zip
flash the minimal gapps if u want (here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48535200&postcount=4)
boot
Note:
1) If you donot format system the rom wont boot even if your on same rom with different kernel. SO its mandatory
2) Flashing the whole gapps will result in a bootloop as i have shrinked a good amount of system size (~100mb)
3) You can run ART well but please donot report issues if your running ART as it is experimental (mike already said that)

but without the capability to use restore we are stucked to the rom we are using..cant flash any addons or backup your rom to restore if anything goes wrong..that features must be available if you can.
backup and restore are essential on any kernel, hope you guys can fix it.

but without the capability to use restore we are stucked to the rom we are using..cant flash any addons or backup your rom to restore if anything goes wrong..that features must be available if you can.
backup and restore are essential on any kernel, hope you guys can fix it.
once again, wonderful work and thanks for your effort.

now i understand..it may be confuse on first post..and happy to see @CosmicDan on xda again..best developer i ve seen, and maker of best kernel for xperia play ..turbo 3.1 kernel with 4 slots, supporting ICS,CM9,GB, and JB!!! :good::good::good:
im sure all of us miss his work,if he still develops im sure we have a fully 3xx kernel for xperia play and neoL.
@koradiavatsal what do you mean with "without cam"? It does not have the camera drivers?
great work @koradiavatsal
but since we are on xda GPL compliant kernel source code link should be given!

That's a kernel without camera i.e. No photo and video shooting.. By disabling it ram s saved(i guess around 40 on arc) so total ram goes to above 400... Just a fun kernel..

No, not really a deal breaker.. It's just that some mods like stereo speaker mod uses aroma installer which CM recovery does not support.. There are other steps I'm aware of to do it.. Manually replacing system files etc.. CWM or TWRP would be a little handy in these cases, that's all..
Rom works really nice. I like all its features. I installed minimal gapps and it's super smooth. The only bug I've noticed so far is navbar dimensions don't work for me. Keep it going...

Ahoy! Once again, PA's back (for our device, I mean)! This time, this ROM isn't based on CM rather AOSP (The nexus sources). I don't know if there will be legacy sources as such, but looking at how today's ROMs are basing themselves off of AOSP-CAF and AOSP, I don't think they will but hey enough with the reading already, go enjoy the ROM
Bugs:
Gapps may not install on first boot, you'll have to boot ROM first, then flash gapps, then wipe data and then boot.
Keypress light is back to the old always-on kinda style (Tried various things, wouldn't work :/)
NOTE: This ROM is based on AOSP so it has that weird chipset-specific boot issue. So flash the included zip (Thanks @orsonbear)
NOTE2: If you face error 7, you can scroll down to post#3 for installation instructions
Download:
AndroidFileHost
Bootloop fix (for users who can't boot their device)
Even then if the zip doesn't work, you can try @orsonbear's fix or @turbolukex5's fix

FAQ:
Q. Why is there only 770~MB of RAM?
A. The kernel comes with CMA on which gives better performance and stability at the cost of memory
Q. Why won't my device boot?
A. This is a chipset related issue. But don't worry, instructions are in the OP
Q. What is the difference between AOSP and AOSP-CAF?
A. Slightly OT, but since many might be confused, AOSP ROMs are based on the Android source straight from Google, while AOSP-CAF (Code Aurora Forums) is optimized for Snapdragon devices in general and has slight enhancements for better Hardware-Software symbiosis (not the right word but I hope you get the point).
Installation Instructions
If the traditional wipe, flash, boot works for you, very well. But if you face error 7, you can follow the following procedure:
1) Once you face the error, wipe data, system and both the caches
2) Reboot Recovery (Do not let it root for you)
3) Flash ROM (and cfw zip if you have the chipset issue)

As for Snapchat, does the video go through?
Also for pictures, I'd suggest you use Google Camera as that one has 0 issues with orientation
After holding camera icon on snapchat i have to wait for 5 sec, then it starts recording in normal colors, after i leave the recording button, the video has messed up colors.
Is there any way to turn keypress light OFF ?
If i install boeffla kernel?

Boeffla Any-Kernel does not work.
AGNi kernel works though.
When do you see these reboots?
@Gokulbalram sometimes when I put device to sleep it reboots, or when the device freezes (when not doing any heavy task), or i install app from playstore, the device sot reboots.

That's very weird. Do you have any kernel settings set as such?
No, I have soft reboots on PA stock kernel provided with this rom as well as on AGNi kernel. I will test a little bit with AGNi and will let you know how it works. Also on every AOSP based rom there is an issue that i reported in Tesla's thread, when sometimes your Wi-Fi card mac adress changes to 02:00:00:00:00:00 where it should be 88:32:9b:58:3b:ba
