Hello! I had Galaxy Camera EK-GC100 laying around with broken camera lens (it was hit a little bit and the zoom didn't work at all and all I was getting was Camera Error when launching the app) so I decided to fix it. Bought camera lens replaced mine (I used old/mine color thingy that goes on top of the lens), put everything together and now it doesn't catch focus
HECK! I bought second new lens! And the problem didn't fix!
When I'm not using any zoom the image is extremely blurry but the moment I zoom at least 5x it becomes crystal clear!
What have I done wrong? Is there any camera calibration to do? I tried Factory Reset on the device already and using the expert doesn't work either. Here's some examples of how it looks:

My fiancé bought an X5 Max Pro it has no more than 30 days.
The camera app crashed, we had to close it and when we've opened it again, only the front camera is working and it's flipped vertically.
There is no deal to make the rear camera works. Tried to wipe app data already.
Any idea of what would be of help?

just didn't use the phone a while and now I took some pics with my son and discovered that even when I stretch my arm super hard it won't turn from "normal" selfie into the "wide-angle" selfie camera anymore...
broken? did Huawei change something? anyone els this issue?
Also is there a way to "force" the wide angle portrait cam .... for sample when u stand in front of a monument ...
great feature I thought as I bought the phone .. but now seems absent ...

So I've just been using p20 pro for a few weeks. I bought it mainly for the highly acclaimed Leica lens cameras.
Well, I found a few problems with the camera, one of them is what in the title. I found out that when using the native camera app, the tele lens (top lens) didn't engage at all, when it should be engaged when I zoom in at 3x or more. Meaning, all the zoom I got is from digital zoom only. As for now, I have no idea at all how to engage the tele lens using the native camera app. I tried using it with Open Camera, and the tele lens worked. It engaged whenever I slide the zoom slider past the 3.0x mark, in Open Camera.
I actually recorded the whole experiment. I covered only the top camera, and tried it in a well lit semi open garage in day time : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSaBkU2ko-g
So my question is, what went wrong? Hardware? Or just a flawed software? Should I just hope they'd fix it in the next firmware update?

Yes, I've read about that. That's why I tested the lens in a well lit semi open garage, in day time, about 2 pm. I literally had to squint my eyes a bit when recording the video, from all the light. Watch the video I linked, you can see the surrounding was well lit.
I also thought that maybe it detects light from the tele lens, so I opened the cover in zoom 1x, and then zoom in 3x, but it's still using the middle lens.
Works on photo and vidéo but not working in pro mode for me

Ah okay, confirmed this. Working in photo and video, but not in pro mode. Tried this just now.
This alone is a weird thing for me. Pro mode should be 'more', not 'less', shouldn't it?
Well, i hope they patch this up in the upcoming update.

Hi there, I have an ongoing problem with the main camera on miui 12. My camera works fine with all the shots except for macro photos or when I try to focus on something near. I use both gcam and stock camera app and both results are same.
Here are some example photos. Last one is ultra wide, its not clear because of low Light but it can actually focus.

This close focus problem is occuring on my device too, i reset my phone and after using again like a new one, this problem occured ,plz i need a solution
