Nokia Lumia 1520 Android ROM

Hello,
I was wondering if anybody has made an android rom that can be flashed onto an SD card and run on a nokia lumia 1520, I've gotten sick of the lack of apps on WP8 but i really like the size and specs of my phone and would love to try out android
So if anyone knows of a devolper that has done one for my phone or knows how I can tweak one to suit it would be great!

There is no any Android ROM for any Nokia Lumia Devices.
At this time we can not flash Lumia devices with any ROM, Even WindowsRT-NT.

Camera help

Hi to all. Need help. Have Xperia Z1
My bootloader is locked by manufacturer and it can't be
unlocked. I have custume room based on original software. And biggest problem is my camera. It doesn't give me pictures like when I bought it. I have framework and 20 superior auto. I have instaled camera from z3 because I need macro mod. But the pictures are like..... Its not like on software based on 4.3 so can someone help . Witch room or camera or something to help. I have room installed it was perfect until my phone bills came ti me. The room had some programs that send anything that I do. Sorry for my English.

Hi sorry to post this I'm betting its on here somewhere but I cant find it done loads of searches... Ihave a Nokia Lumia 930 on windows 8.1 is there away to install android on this phone if so any information would be grateful thankyou

Ok thxs its a shame boot loader is locked. Think I read somewhere about windows 10 update then there's away to load apks from the app store

So I'm screwed when it comes to running apks from google on this Nokia 930

Never gonna get google apps to work u mean

How come other phones like Nokia 928 can be unlocked bootloader but the 930 cant

Are we closer to see Android (Oreo) to be ported now that the WP Internals 2.3 version has been released?

There were reports about running W10 on ARM on an 830. How to contact the devs?
I'd like to develop a ROM for it but currently I am working on my midterm exams. I also tried to build some ROMs for my Android devices (Galaxy Tab E SpreadTrum), but failed twice, the third time I mistakely made a recovery for it. If someone adds a detailed guide how to prepare the env., get the device drivers for the sensors etc. If someone is willing to give me some extensive knowlegde or at least a source for the knowledge I'll do it. Alternatively for a faster development you can alert the devs (They've probably noticed this because of the 830 hacks that allow to run W10 for ARM instead of Windows Mobile.).

I was also wondering whether there has been any update on this?
I have seen a couple of links to information that I consider suspicious. For example, there was this link to rooting the 930:

However, it refers to using an Android tool so how is this going to work on a Windows phone? If I am going to do this, then I want to use a method that makes sense, has been tested and is reliable.
I'm at the juncture now where I either need to think about replacing the phone battery or buying a new phone. For replacing the battery to be worthwhile in the long term I would need to replace Win10 with Android. Otherwise, the New Nokia 6 2018 looks reasonable at the budget price level that I am restricted to these days. On the other hand the 930 has been a reliable phone hardware wise and has a good camera, and I think there is still life in it, which is why I am very interested in the answer to this question. If there is an Android ROM for it, then I am eager to give it a go.

Few questions before I get my P20 Pro

My phone will be here tomorrow and before I open it I wanted to ask a few questions. With the Oneplus 6 looking like it might actually have a decent camera, I am really thinking about not opening the P20 and just selling it as unopened. I am coming from an iPhone X and decided to try an iPhone after waiting forever for updates for every android I have had he past 8 years. It has been 6 months and I have had more than enough of iOS and can't wait to get rid of it....
1) How is Huawei with updates? Better than Samsung? I have read some grumblings that they are not good about fixing issues that are software related...
2)How much of the bloatware is baked in? Can you remove most of it?
3) Are the Huawei versions of the google apps bad? How customizable are they?
I decided to try this phone even though it isn't sold or supported in the US because the pictures I have seen with the camera look great to my eye. One of the few redeeming qualities of the iPhone were the pictures.

1) they are almost like twins with regards on features and updates only difference between s9 plus and p20 pro is if you want camera go p20 pro if performance is important go for s9 plus
2) there is alot of huawei apps but they include google apps as well it really did not bug me when i started using this because you can always hide them , use another launcher to easily find what you really need.
3) huawei apps was created because google apps is banned in china. but me as a google person i just stick with google because everything on my life revolves in google now.

Can someone port a fully working Google Camera for Nokia 8 Sirocco?

GCam-5.1.018-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.3b1.apk (Arnova8G2, 2018-08-25, changelog) works great for me. I can really say that the camera is now somewhat not as horrible as before

Beacuase HMD global (aka Nokia) is infringing thr GPL and refuses to unlock the bootloaders to all Nokia phones. Also source code is not released. So developing is imposible for any Nokia phone.

What can we expect from the new Gcam update after the Android Pie release of Nokia 8 Sirocco. Night light, Top Shots ... Any of them?

Thanks I am also using the same Gcam as you stated. It really works great. Now, I am waiting for android pie update on the Sirocco to use more features like Night Sight, Top Shots etc. Cheers .
