P20 Pro How to Change Modell Information / Country Code

I have a Huawei P20Pro from China - the Version with 256 GB. I need to flash it with the European Stock Rom - preferred CLT-L29C432B120 - 8.1.0.120 - Europe. However bevor I can do this I have to change the Modell Information / Country code of the phone. It's now saying CLT-AL00 but it need to be CLT-L29 in order to install the European Stock Rom.
Can anybody please help me how to change this? The standard developer / service tools like Chimera do not support the P20Pro And this is where I'm stuck right now.
I know this question is developer related but the board does not let me open a thread there.

It is all over XDA forums, it's called debranding
I'm wondering about this too, if it makes any difference or not since it's the exclusive 256gb Chinese version.

Changing from Chinese to Global using stock rom?

Hi everyone!
I just got my Oppo Reno yesterday (PCAM00). Although I have managed to find a workaround for most issues, it is still difficult to operate with many of the apps reverting to Chinese (ex: LinkedIn).
Has anyone been able to change from the Chinese version to the Global one?
I found this online, but I don't know if it would work: https:// boycracked.com/2019/04/28/official-oppo-reno-cph1917-stock-rom/#top
Please help
Thanks!

Is there a thread about all official Xiaomi tools?

Hi there,
I'm new to the xiaomi world and looking to unlock and flash a custom ROM on my 9T Pro. I found a couple of tutorials and different ROMs and most threads talk about unlock tools, flash tools, MI suites, etc. Most of these tools link to sites which range from dodgy looking to legit looking but is there a "vetted" list of official / safe tools to use?
to give you an example of links here are a couple:
https://xiaomiflashtool.com/category/download
https://xiaomifirmware.com/downloads/miflashpro/
https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2 which links to
"MIUI ROM Flashing Tool" => https://download.appmifile.com/images/2019/07/01/09cdc3a7-5a11-42aa-81f4-be27fe12ce80.msi
"Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Latest Europe Stable Version Fastboot File Download" => which is a dead link

c.mi.com is the official global community site and forums, so anything found there should be trustworthy.
Here's a link for the Mi Unlock Tool, needed to unlock the bootloader.
https://c.mi.com/thread-2262302-1-0.html
It's actually an unlocking guide, but has links for the Unlock Tool too.
Here's a link for flashing official MIUI ROMs
https://c.mi.com/thread-1857937-1-0.html
In the section for fastboot flashing you'll find a link for the Mi Flash Tool
xiaomifirmware.com is a site/tool made by an xda member and anything found there should be trustworthy. Everything on there has been taken from the official Xiaomi sites by automated scripts. It's a very good one stop shop for any official ROMs and firmware.

Question Multi langagues in chinese version

Hi guys. I just bought the Chinese version because the global version is more expensive and harder to find for delivery in my country. The device has not yet arrived in my hands.
I would like to know if there is a chance for Oppo to put all languages in the Chinese version. In my case it would be the Portuguese language.
My second question is: are there other differences between the Chinese version and the global version besides the languages?
And the last question is: are you happy with the device or not?

Chinese version has lots of chinese bloatware and doesnt have google apps so you have to install them manually. For the language support...i doubt it.
Im happy with my global version but it has few really annoying bugs.
Apparently you can put the apps installed by the user in languages not supported by the operating system.
(I have not tried it, the Find X3 still does not arrive)
Instructions
1. Download this app:
SetEdit SettingsDatabaseEditor - Apps on Google Play
Provides direct access to the Android settings database
play.google.com
2. Inside the app, search "system_locales".
3. Change the value to:
"pt_BR" (Portuguese, Brazil) or
"pt_PT" (Portuguese, Portugal)

Cool this tip. But I'm afraid to modify the system.

For example with occasionally missing notifications on the lock screen...or with the app market (from.oppo) opening google play links (popup on the screen) which supposed to be open by Google Play app by default.
