5.02? - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has anyone seen an update to 5.02 yet? I've read that 5.0 has some pretty big bugs in it. So I was hoping Motorola pushes out the new update quick. My Nexus 9 is already on 5.02

It'll be 5.1 before most of the bugs get fixed. 5.0.1 and 5.0.2 address some things, but not all.

[Q] Android Lollipop ROM possible?

Hey guys
So Android Lollipop got announced. Looks awesome and beautiful.
And I see even the Moto E is getting the Lollipop update....SO I was just wondering , maybe ,just maybe it might be possible that a Lollipop ROM could be possibly developed? Fingers crossed !!
yeah it's possible but not in the coming days or even weeks
final android lollipop will be released in the 3rd of November with nexus 6 and nexus 9 then if we are so lucky, someone will port it to our device after weeks or maybe months, then maybe we will see official releases from cm, pa and slim.
but if you are talking about a stock lollipop rom from samsung... sure you are kidding
Some news?
I guess you've completely missed this thread then....?

[Q] Android lollipop ??

Now that android Lollipop is nearly out, what are the chances that the TF701T will even get a rom running Lollipop, never mind Asus updating it through ota.
So any chances??

Lollipop on n900a?

Hello,
I have been searching and looking. Is there a way to get the lollipop on a n900a? If so, what needs to be done? I don't think it's as simple as flashing the Cyanogenmod12 on a rooted 4.4.4. Any links or ideas how to get this to work?
Thanks in advance.
no. not until att releases an update.
How about using a safestrap?
nope. we need a leak or official release that has a kernel for lollipop.
Did you have to downgrade back to 4.4.2 and then upgrade to 4.4.4 with the stock kernel just curious. I seen that you were running a rooted 4.4.4?

There's a leak already here on xda, not yet for us, I wish somebody would make it work for us . http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/guide-t2983873
RoloRacer on KillerKat Note 3
So disappointed that AT&T are dragging there feet on releasing Lollipop 5.0
Wish we could find a version out there for SM900A
Still looking for a complete guide to getting on a working version of 5.0+ rooted, xposed sm-900A... even if it requires Odin's great wrath.

The only issue I'm having is the mic... other than that, I've got it rooted although SS won't work on this version... supposedly.
Enjoy.

Android 5.1

Who is going to be the first to port 5.1?

To be honest no one cares who will be first. The GPE version will get 5.1 here soon and AOSP based roms will be updating to 5.1 as soon as the source is completely updated and they finish merging it.
Being first means nothing.

Why do I keep seeing people talk about stock 5.1.1 on the XT1096?

Am I completely missing something? Last I knew 5.1 was the latest OTA on XT1096, not 5.1.1.
5.1.1 would be a custom rom. 5.1 is the latest official.

Exactly, but when the word "stock" is stuck in front of "5.1.1" I'm left like
As far as I know, the fixes from android 5.1.1 were included in the 5.1 update moto provided..
So in a matter of speaking, the moto 5.1 ís android 5.1.1

And you think that because?
It seems to me that if that were the case they wouldn't have called it 5.1.
I think I read it in a thread here, or at another forum.. Don't recall.
I concur, it isn't logical to name it 5.1 instead of 5.1.1... But then again, the combo "Moto" and "making good decisions" isn't really happening at the moment
