Go SMS has this options in the app itselft.

and what about dialer
Go to Settings -> Important Tips -> Check "Enable GO SMS run persistently".
About the dialer I don't know...

Can I ask why you want to do that?
because the dialer default one opens faster but the go one's sometimes gets some time to open
not a problem but I thought it will make the phone better
Try to use another dialer. I use Contapps

It keeps in the background. But lock in memory isn't always the best solution.

I just mentioned something about this earlier on the ultimate thread. What you need is to find compatible apps that are universal or have multiple DPI to make up for the less screen space you now have due to the nav buttons. Or mess with the per app settings mod on xposed but not sure that will work. You can probably find more about this on other phone threads like a Samsung. But I know it has to do with the screen space involved.
I will try changing DPI on Messaging app see what happens.

Solved (sorta).
Ultimate Dynamic Navbar. It is an app on the gplay store.
I know I've talked about this before, but I'm wondering if people have any suggestions.
I'm looking for a lockscreen replacement that will allow me to use my own image as wallpaper. Ideally it will also have lollipop features (I quite like the stock lockscreen, but it would be so much better if I could put my own pic there rather than having it be my homescreen wallpaper).
I've tried AcDisplay - You have the option of homescreen or grey. Otherwise I like it.
HiLocker - Selected image is zoomed WAY in for some reason which results in a pixelated image (even at 2K+ resolution).
Widget Locker - no longer supported.
I've emailed the devs on both AcDisplay and HiLocker, but never heard anything back.
I'd be just fine with keeping the stock lockscreen if I could figure out how to set a different wallpaper for it. Does anyone know if this is possible? Barring this, does anyone know of a good lockscreen replacement that would do what I want?
Xposed with Gravity box is what you need.
It will not have the security flaws that most lockscreen replacements have, and you can change the background.

That's if you want to keep using the app. If not, use titanium backup to remove it completely. However, unchecking the box may keep it from running properly at times, but that would be a very rare thing if it breaks it at all.

I actually figured it out right after typing that reply. Untick show current conditions in the notification settings for the app. Now I can actually see the picture of my kids when I have no other notifications.

Finally, the empty space where the icon labels and the nav bar hide...IS NOT space anymore. This and the unscrollable wallpaper on the homescreen were the only two eye poppers i always had in the new TW (weirdly, bot used to be hidden mods)

PS, dont forget to make the new launcher as default, or else it will crash and notify about some java thing.

i dont disable it, i hide it. i use the bixby button for exactly that. I dont think it's possible without root though, but i may be wrong.

Ok, so you can hide it on the home screen, unlike on Samsung experience 9 where it still shows if you hide it on the home screen. So you can swipe up to see it

Does not work on at&t note 8. Just crashes. Maybe because the app I have is not a update to 9.5 version but it's own apk. That's how it installed anyway.

You probably just set the old one as default again. Clear the launcher default settings (not the cache/data) and try again, i've already got it on on an S7E, S8, and S8+ phones. It should work as the leak itself comes from a Snapdragon variant dump, just like yours.

Doesn't look like you can do this. I have the Navbar hidden but still shows on the home screen of this launcher.

No it's exactly the same as 9 minus the settings. And I could not get it to stop crashing on my note 8 n950u with 8.0 crc2 build.
Ok it worked fine just not a lot of changes to me.
HOW TO UNINSTALL
I had to open the launcher settings and then go to the About section to get to the app options. Then I set Nova as the launcher and it lets me uninstall the version 10.

hello, I would like to deactivate the content recommendation of applications on Real me x 2 pro. it is very annoying with a 6,5 screen size because as soon as I want to open the notifications by toggling this displays the recommendations first. Cannot find the option in the settings to disable this.

I solved the problem by installing an alternative "pixel" launcher. I didn't think it would work, but it removes the content from the apps.
