[Q] Downgrade Camera only from 4.4.4 to 4.4.2? - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, it is possible to "downgrade" the camera drivers, i believe, from the OS?
i got recently a moto x 2014, with android 4.4.4, but the camera app have a nasty bug, the ISO setting dose not work at all. (in any program)
the ISO adjustment is really important to me, and looking at other topics, looks like the bug came with 4.4.3 update. the bug also is on the android 5.0 rom. (i intent to keep with 4.4.4)
any help?

[Q] 4.2 or 4.4

I just got an unlocked Moto X from amazon for use in the US(AIO) and Jamaica(Digicel)
I've been using a phone with 4.2.1. The Moto is supposed to be able to get an update to 4.4.
Would like some opinions on upgrading or staying with 4.2 that comes with it
Thanks for any advise

[Q] Port Motorola apps to other ROMs

Hello all,
Is there any possible way to port the motorola apps (Moto Display, Camera etc.) to a Moto X running AOSP based ROM like CM?
The Source of the Moto X, doesn't come the sources of this apps?
Thanks
You would need the framework from Motorola's firmware. Besides, the stock firmware is far more stable than any AOSP-based ROM. What does CM so for you that Xposed can't?
I think the problem here is the 5.0 update and the switch to art. That means no xposed. So if somebody mixed cm customization with stock stability and functions, we'd have a real winner.

Actually I can have all i need with xposed, but someday we'll not receive anymore updates(maybe in a year?), and this phone I think will last for more 3 years, I wish to have latest Android , but with our unique features.

Good ROM for x 2013?

I rooted my unlocked the bootloader/rooted my phone back in April but I'm looking to try a ROM for the first time. I've been looking around but I wanted to see what people here are using.
Basically what I'm hoping for in the rom
Moto display (if possible)
xposed compatible
no major bugs
better battery life/stable
Stock KitKat it is.
I am currently using the Cyanogenmod 12.1 and it's running fine with no major bugs. It has moto display, I have successfully installed xposed but I have no use for it, also the battery life running the latest nightly is quite poor imo. Would recommend using it though.

(HELP) XT1068 Frontal Camera Not Detected IDAx6

Hello, ive recived my moto G 2 2014 xt1068 with Android Lollipop, and i´ve done a downgrade to 4.4.4 kitkat. The result was exelent, but de frontal camera icon dissapeared. I´ve ran hw tests with idax64 and castro, but my frontal camera is not detected, i´ve googled it and realiced its a common problem, aldaugh with upgrades. I think its a driver problem. but i cant find the solution, please help me!!
Thanks!!!!
Your Moto g came with lollipop for a reason, it doesn't have camera driver for kitkat, it uses a different camera than the ones that came with kitkat.
Return to lollipop.
