ivoler Screen Protector Great Fit!! Much better than any other brands I tried. - Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Accessories

I got mine in the mail yesterday, and bought the ivoer screen protector on Amazon.Carefully packaged with a nice little kit, including a dust removing tape, alcohol wipe and screen cleaning cloth. Instructions were clear and direct and installation was a snap. None of the stupid bubbles that you get from the screen protectors. Tactile feel is perfect, and response from the phone after installation is unchanged and very responsive. The screen itself is high quality and flawlessly clear, the cutouts fit the phone (around the camera, speaker, etc) perfectly. Due to the phone having a slight curve towards the edge, there is no way to make glass bend that way so you will have a small (appx 1/8th inch) space where the protector ends and the phone continues. If you have a case on the phone, you will barely notice. I paid $35 to have one of these installed at Verizon on a G3, and if anything I think this $12 beauty looks even better. Just take your time to install it, and make sure you wash your hands clean of any oils before beginning. I installed it in about 60 seconds. Adhesive will not fully grip until you press it down firmly and really make sure it is on there, so you can adjust the fit if your aim is off.
Here I share the picture that have installed the screen protector, it shows very smooth and clear,It's all perfect!!

Here's an observation I made. And it's kind of how I judge the quality before I purchase. The Droid turbos corners are not A straight 90 degree. It tapers down and then 90s across to a slight taper. You can tell the cheap glass screen protectors because they're not cut to this taper. They come straight down and then they 90.
Example.. The first one is your ivoer.
The second is one of the mime protector someone posted in the other thread.
You can clearly see what I'm talking about. So with that, the ivoer is much more impressive to me. Thanks for the info on its quality. I'll be buying one. =)
It is the small attention to details that can show the difference between someone who took just the dimensions. And someone who actually sized up to the phone itself

I ended up pulling the trigger for the mime ghost glass and just saw this post. I guess I will stick with it and see.

Yse, I have never had a screen protector as easy to apply and without bubbles. It fit the phone very well, this is the best source for for protecting the face of a cell phone.

I'm going to pull the trigger but Did you get the .2 or the .3 thickness?

Well got the .2 ivoler one for 12 bucks and what a freaking turd it is. It's no where cut right and is way to big for the phone. It not only hangs off the bottom but the top as well. Send them an email to see what they are going to do about it.

You should have stuck with the mime. It's such a breeze to install. Plus its case friendly too. The adhesive sticks automatically to the screen as much as possible.

I agreed. Got this response from ivoler:
Hello
Based on the photo you sent is, you fit is correct. Please be reminded that the Droid Turbo does have curved edges on all four edges, and as the tempered glass screen protector is flat therefore it is designed to only able to cover the flat part of the screen.
Thank you
So clearly they think it is supposed to be lifted off the screen to help collect dust. Lol. I am going to take it off and send it back to Amazon and buy the mime. What a waste and a crappy company.

These are the pictures I even sent them that they state is correct fitment. The best part is that they claim it is rounded edges but they are sharp as hell. I guess you get what you pay for. Mime here I come.

Just received the .2 went on perfect adhered good all over. Within 20 minutes after it was installed I dropped my glassed they hit the Side of the screen and chipped the screen protector. You can't see it from the pic but it is starting to hairline crack...

Highly recommend iVoler screen protector for Nexus 6!!
Highly recommend iVoler screen protector for Motorola Droid Turbo!!
Installation was very easy and there is not bubble at all. It only takes me two times to install it properly. You'll just need to follow the instruction and use the tools provided with the packaging.all the cutouts are accurate and I like the fact that it does not covers the front facing camera and also the proximity sensor. The screen is HD clear and super smooth as if there is nothing on it!I'll never go back to those cheap plastic screen protectors again.

I ended up getting three replacements for from ivoler for the glue lasted only for a little while on the edges and the lint/dirt would get in there. I got fed up and got Mime and have had it on for a month with no problems whatsoever.

I can confirm that the ivoler glass screen protector fits and that the edges stick to the screen, at least for me. I don't know why some people are having the opposite experience.

I bought mine off Amazon for $6.95 for a 2 pack. I got the .2m. Ivoler screen protectors are a dust magnet. Put mine on it the bathroom as it is the best light to see if the screen is clean. Washed my hands and cleaned the screen with the provided tools. Installed it between the bevel edges. Later had ghosting. Took it off and installed the 2nd. Washed hands, cleaned screen, and when I removed the cover on the screen protector. All I heard was static electricity. Dust stuck to it as soon as I pulled the cover off. Installed of my phone and it was bad. Took its off and clean my outterbox defender case and put my turbo back in. The heck with that. Sent them a email will all my info. No picture as I do not have a camera another phone to take a picture. What good can that do. Most know that trying to get a picture if you could, would not show it well as it does in person. Got a email back and they asked for my order id and a picture. They must have not even read my email. I had my Amazon order id in the email, 2 sentence. I explained to them that I do not have a camera or another to take a picture. Also that I do not have the screen protectors on my turbo anymore. I miss Zagg screen protectors. Never had a problem like I did with ivoler. At lest I am out $6.95 vs 19.99 if you bought it from there site and that is 1 not 2 from Amazon. I doubt I will get 2 replacement or my money back. Can never go wrong with my outterbox. If the ivoler was a success install like most here had. I would have removed the screen protector in the outterbox. O well.

Got the .3 for my Droid Turbo. It's saved my screen twice in two years. Getting ready to put on the second one, as the first is all cracked up now. Very scratch resistant. Put this on somewhere super clean. I have dogs and cats with super fine fur. A hair you can't even see will make you curse.

Is this the Droid turbo or the droid 2 ?

Like the looks of the fit... even though it falls slightly short of the full screen that's probably why it fits so well. Also I have not seen the ivoler in the .3 VERSION for the turbo (all the ivoler .3 screen protectors I have found say the are for the turbo 2) in any case I have ordered the .2 version for my phone.

Update after a little more searching I found the .3 version on Amazon ... so I will give it a go as well... should have plenty of spares . I currently have a Otckicks on my Droid Turbo but it does not seal well around the edges. Also I am using the Otterbox commuter case which is less bulky than the defender and the Lifeproof base as well, both of which are good but bulky... however the Lifeproof case really muffled the sound on the Turbo.

Nexus 7 with Skinomi

Dear All,
Did anyone purchase and install a Skinomi screen protector on their Nexus 7 yet? What is the general opinion on the Skinomi Techskin screen protector? Your comments are highly regarded as I'm thinking which wet screen protector to purchase for my Nexus 7.
Thanks.
I personally do not like Skinomi. they damage and bruise easily in my opinion. For the price you pay the quality degrades quick. Bruising occurs more frequently in wet screen protectors I buy.
My skinomi just arrived today and best buy installed it perfectly for free. I'm letting it sit for a day until I use it. I'll keep you updated.

Got pictures?
I installed the carbon-fiber one on my N7; first time installing a skin type cover and wet screen protector.
Getting everything lined up was a pain for the skin itself. Had to pull it up and recenter several times, and still didn't get it perfect as I had hoped.
You use a heat gun/hairdryer to "seal" it to the device, so it doesn't peel off after you've installed it.
I don't worry about sitting my N7 down on tables/chairs now, as there's no chance to accidentally scratch the back.
The screen protector went on without an issue, just take your time and keep your fingertips wet with solution. Watch their instructional youtube videos before trying.
The resilience/self healing of the screen protector seems poor. Scrape your fingernail into it, and the mark is there forever, but it's only noticeable when the screen is off.
The protector finger/slide feel is better than dry protectors I've used, but it's not like naked glass.
The viewing quality of the screen doesn't seem impaired at all by the protector. No weird off-angle reflection or rainbow effects, or texture while the screen is on.
IMO it works, but is overpriced for what you get.
Still waiting on my Skinomi Carbon with Protector...how long did it take for you? How is the 'gripiness' of the carbon? I like the stock rubbery feel and don't want to drop it.
Thanks
RF
my skinomi should arrive any day now. will post review n pic sometime this weekend i suppose.
and remember, code get25 will get u 25% off. $20 for both nexus and RAZR protector including shipping n tax? i dig it.
I let mine sit for about 30 hours and then took a look at it. The bottom right corner is BARELY too long and hangs over the edge a little bit. Everywhere else fits perfectly, so I know it's a problem with the protector. It goes to the edge everywhere else. I'll power it on in the morning. $12 with one day shipping with Amazon Prime and I think it's worth it. I put my TPU case on it and don't notice the corner. I'll let you know if it peels back.

Gripness is poor compared to the glorious naked back of the N7, which is the best I've felt on a tablet. Slippery even though it's textured. Disappointing, but seems protective against surface scratches.
Took probably 45 mins to install skin and screen protector.

The edges haven't peeled up anymore. Screen is clear and looks good. However, after using the Zagg on my Galaxy Nexus, the Skinomi on my nexus 7 is like using flypaper. I HATE the feel of it. I'm sure it'll improve over time, but it's not even close to the quality of my Zagg. If I had to choose again, I'd choose Zagg.

Installed Skimoni on my Nexus 7 2 weeks ago, love it, easy to install, screen was not responsive for a few hours after installation but now everything is ok.
I've been using a Skinomi for a couple weeks and I think it's good. I decided to go with just a screen protector rather than a case. Most of the cases I've seen make the N7 too thick in my opinion.
The screen protector went on easily enough. I did get a bit of dust under the screen protector near the right edge that I notice every time I look at my N7. I agree that the screen protector takes away from the great feel of the naked screen but since the screen isn't gorilla glass, I think it needs something to protect it.

just installed it last night. this morning it looks glorious.
First thoughts:
- less than 15 minutes to install. just make sure u follow the video instructions EXACTLY. when it asks u to put water on ur hand, u ask, how much? when it want u to pick up the protector, u ask, how slow should i move? For a first time user with wet installation, that was a walk in a park. clean device. spray fingers. spray protector. peel. spray protector again. stick. slide. remove bubble. pat to dry.
- there are smudges and micro bubbles, but by morning they're all gone. don't worry.
- the smoothness feeling is different, the skinomi feels a little more "sticky", especially if u put pressure. but if ur a light-touch user, it's just as smooth.
- under reflection, i can almost see why it's called "orange peel texture", but i could not feel it in my hand. a bit "sticky" but nowhere near "rough".
- it's somewhat fingerprint resistant, but not 100% smudge-resistant.
- the skin feels a bit "soft", so scratching it with ur nail or keys will leave a mark, but u can't feel that mark at all and it seems to disappear after awhile.
- clarity is top-notch. i could not find any difference in color or brightness when i test it with a couple 1080p movies (Lorax for color, Wall-E for darker environment)
- size/cut quality, however, is the only "not perfect" score. it's a tiny bit smaller than my nexus (about 1, maybe 1.5mm at most) so the edges where the screen protector ends, and fairly *thick*, so it is a bit "sharp" (u can feel this when u slide down the notification from outside the protector into the screen) and it does attract dust in the corners.
overall, very happy. not incredibly happy or anything (abit thick and soft and sticky from what i expected), but it's clear, protects, and barely noticeable.
will take pic later...
I give it a 7/10. I got the Black Carbon kit. Skinomi is the only mfg that I can find, that also covers the bottom part of the silver bezel. I wish they included 4 more strips for the top half of the bezel. The Carbon back could probably be about 1mm longer in length. If you line up the speaker cut out perfectly (equal distance all around the perimeter of the speaker), the bottom microphone hole gets covered. I had to "cheat" the skin down so the edge of the speaker cut out on top, was right at the edge of the speaker. That left about 1mm of space at the bottom of the speaker where you can see the dimpled rubber stock back. This also leaves about 1mm of space on the top, near the Micro USB, where you can see the stock back. But this does line all the mic holes up and it is flush at the bottom. You *really* have to look hard to see this, so 9/10. The side pieces look fine, although around the POGO Plug takes some fiddling.
The screen protector it a "soft type" (I call the rubbery/vinyl type soft, and the plastic type hard). I have a Seidio "hard" type on my Nexus S, and love it. It doesn't have a mark on it after 2 years and looks like glass with the screen off and light reflected off it. This screen protector has very slight "orange Peel" and also what look like "crease marks" all over it. You can only see these with the screen off and looking at reflected light, with the screen on, it is perfect. It does scuff. I like that it had actual cut outs for both the camera and flash. Install was fine (steamy bathroom and latex gloves), no bubbles and imperfections do disappear after 24 hours and fit is perfect. 8/10.
These are all niggles, I'll be leaving it on.
After having mine on to about a week, my screen has started losing responsiveness until I reboot. Probably a rogue app, but it makes me wonder.

I've had one on for a few weeks now. I have to say I'm not a huge fan. I would describe the texture as gummy and it has made my tablet less pleasant to use. I'm probably going to switch it out for the default screen protector that comes with otterbox I intend to purchase. I've had a much better experience with those on a couple of other devices.

i agree. gummy is a better word to describe it. i was going with "soft and sticky" :silly:
but for me it's not overly gummy, and the "gummy-ness" does protect from finger prints and scratches. it does leave a mark but it "heals" up pretty well.
also, just realized that i kind of missed the center abit, so the space on the left is a bit larger than the right, and the bottom right corner kinda lift up abit. completely fine, but being a perfectionist with screen protectors, i feel like i have to redo it.....
anybody can comment on redo-ing a Skinomi?

Flash??? i didnt kno Nexus7 has flash!
Cant you just contact them for a free replacement if you messed up? I think I read somewhere that they do that.
I know most screen protector manufacturers allow that.
I just ordered a screen protector (no back protection, not a fan of the fake carbon/aluminum stuff) for $12 after shipping. Found a 25% off coupon online, it was "get25" I think.
I've used both dry and wet application type protectors in the past. And yea, the dry ones always feel better, but I still prefer the wet ones because its easier to get a perfect fit.
If you're good any fitting screen protectors perfectly or just dont care that it might be slighhttly off, then go for a dry application one.
I personally cant stand if the edge of the protector isnt parallel to the edge of the screen, or if the spacing on the edges are uneven lol. So I go for wet ones.
yup. just saw FAQ that it's easy to remove, wash, and re-apply. guess that's what i'll be doing when i get home
(maybe this time i'll take pictures... lol)

When I bought my turbo in October or November, I also bought the "flexible glass screen protector for droid turbo" at the Verizon store. It is a little pricey at about $25, but I really like it. They had to order it for me and it was delivered straight to me.
For what it cost, I took it to them and had one of their employees put the screen on for me. I think he did a pretty nice job of it. I have no complaints, other than the high price. ?
As far as I can tell, it has no scratches on it, but, I try not to treat it rough. Also, it is very hard to see any smudges, etc that I get on it.
It did take me a little while to get used to its edges. If you swipe from the very edge of the phone, you can feel the edge. It kind of catches your finger. I have had no problems using it. At the same time I also bought the "Speck" case from them. I like it as well, but, it is also pricey.
Before this, I always used their belt clip. I do miss that, and, "may" one of these days replace the Speck with it. But, I think the glass screen is so much better than the plastic ones.
I would buy the glass screen again. (my opinion only)

I just received this one today.
Its not bad for the price.
I was just going to start a thread with the glass screen protectors that I've tried and whether it works or not. but just an fyi, I've used the ez guardz, they admitted to their current model having a design flaw; the edges of the screen protector doesn't adhere. Also the Ghostek I just received today has the same issue. There's one more I'm looking at on eBay and I'm going to stay away from the "flexible screen protectors" as those are the ones made by tech21 and I don't like the feel of them.
Sorry. Wrong thread.

Looks like film, I have their screen protector for my moto 360, first batch was over sized, they then sent me the replacements which were a lot better. I may end up going with tempered glass as well for to 360 but at the time none were available but the film ones, except the Spigen which chipped. I'm not too confident with the ones that are available now.

I know that it's a film protector & not tempered glass. I was wondering if anyone had any luck with it. I was also looking at the iVoler tempered glass sold on Amazon
The iVoler is great, with a few minor caveats:
• Follow instructions to the letter, making sure the screen is immaculately clean. Also, wear rubber gloves if possible. Even a minor trace of skin oils will result in spots that refuse to adhere, so be super careful.
• This particular item ships from Shengzhen, China, and takes about three weeks. Order a spare while you're ordering and waiting so ridiculously long for the item to arrive.
Aside from that, it seems to be just the ticket... It's coated, so it feels slick, stays clean and doesn't show fingerprints.
This company finally has one out, I have it on order today.

reporting back from my last purchase.
Tried this TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector - Slim 0.33mm Super Hardness - Crystal Clear by COVRWARE - picked it up from amazon for $9.97
The glass itself is nice. It feels like the naked screen. It's a 9H and oleophobic. Unforunately the edge adhesive halos. It's cut slightly short of the edges to in an attempt to deal with the 2.5D screen edges.
you don't notice when the screen is on, but yeah it's not a edge to edge performing adhesive. so i've left it on, as i look for a better screen protector.
i'd love to see how that mime screen protector does.

Let me know if the edges stick that's really the only issue with most of them on the market right now. I don't even want to show my phone to others because of the parts of the screen protector that doesn't adhere. Waiting on a replacement for my ghostek, if that's the same then I'm off to trying a different one.
The edges on mine are all good, with the exception of two spots where my fingers made contact with the adhesive. My hands were clean and dry, but it apparently doesn't take much to impact the performance of the adhesive. I'd recommend wearing rubber gloves during application... Other than that, it's a great fit, and covers only the flat (non-rounded) surface of the screen.
Ok got the MIME today, typical package and install. Goes on good does not go the the edge but about like the xtreme one I had installed. This one sticks so far and feels way better slickness wise than the xtreme.

Interesting there's no cut out for the proximity sensor. Have you had any issues during phone calls? Make a phone call, and hold the phone away from your face. Does the screen still go on?

In1 Nano Shield review

From the In1 website:
"Intelligent impact protection technology is constructed from combination of larger entities called "Supramolecular" which are made to assemble themselves at the moment of impact."
On to the review:
My phone had been rocking the stock factory installed screen protector. I ripped it off a couple days ago because i was tired of wiping fingerprints off it. I would have been perfectly happy leaving the screen naked if it weren't for the fact that I almost dropped my phone almost immediately after I took the first protector off. So here we are.
Application was as easy as you'd expect. Use the included stickers as hinges, peel tab A, drop into place, peel tab B. In spite of all my care and caution, I still ended up with a weird little formation of tiny bubbles in one little area, but it's not really obvious unless the screen is off. They ended up going away after a day or two. As this isn't tempered glass there is no dot matrix and it has full adhesion. Best of all, no damn rainbow in the middle of the screen.*
The in1 Nano Shield is smaller than the factory installed screen protector. It doesn't cover the entire width of the screen. You know the couple millimeters that get covered by the black border of the new curved Oneplus TGP? Thats about the same bit left completely uncovered by this product. Lengthwise it has cutouts for the fingerprint sensor, camera and earpiece. As such this should work with any and every case.
Slightly skinny size notwithstanding, I'm otherwise impressed with the overall look and feel. It's no tempered glass, but it feels a lot better than any other plastic screen protector I've had on previous phones. Colors are nice and vivid, glare under bright light is about the same as the naked gorilla glass.
I'm not sure what else there is to say about this particular product. I can't really judge if it's worth the money since it's real value is supposed to be in its resilience. While it certainly feels resilient, I'm not about to perform any drop or scratch tests on it. If I ever do accidentally drop it, or if it ever gets hit with a ball-peen hammer, ill be sure to update with the results. In the meantime the hunt for a quality edge to edge protector goes on.

Lol, yeah. Those are my pictures from my review.
Following up - i took this off today and put on tye Orzly pro-fit. I just couldn't reconcile the fact that it left a few mm of the display completely uncovered. The In1 isn't worth the money. If they dropped the price, maybe it would be... But $20 US is too much.

Suggestions for screen protector

Decided I shouldn't go without a screen protector, looks like the tempered glass ones won't work well because the screen in curved on the edges. Anyone have experience with or can recommend a good one? I often see suggestions on here that I couldn't find on my own and I'm thinking one of you guys can help.
By the way i went with this case:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M15T2I3/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1
I like it except that the camera and volume buttons aren't cut outs. It fits the phone well.
I appreciate any suggestions.
Same boat as you. The ones offered Amazon all seem to complain about them being too thin, bezel to bezel.
The only one that I have found for the phone that fits properly so far is listed below. It's not glass but works great.

I actually purchased the full body coverage kit and it covers everything as well.

Nillkin has crappy cases for F5321 that offer little more than scratch protection, and you're incessant advertising for them across the all the device boards is obvious, so you can hardly be considered objective. Please go troll your mother and go away. There are people here looking for serious solutions.

I decided to go with the Skinomi as well, put it on my XC yesterday. Very happy with the results, it's been a while since I have used a non-tempered glass screen protector and for some reason I was expecting the touch screen to be hard to use and the experience generally unpleasant. This wasn't the case and it fits perfectly. recommended.
Anyone try one of those 3d glass ones from gcolor on Amazon? They also have this flexible carbon fiber type one too

I saw those but have seen to many negative things about G Color protectors to ever try one out myself. Lots of videos on youtube about them being crap.
I got these ones from ebay and they're a perfect fit. Quite easy to apply and cover right to the edge of the curved screen.
Worthwhile watching the video before starting. It's been on a few weeks now and no finger marks and the feel is good

I ordered one of those g color protectors yesterday. I'll be that guy that tests it. Should get it sunday. If its moot I'll try that skinomi one. I kinda want the skinomi one just for the rear protector.
edit: Ok got it in yesterday. Packaging was nice and it came with the normal included things. Putting it on was kind of a pain in the ass. This was mostly contributed to the curved screen but it is doable with some patience. I messed up putting it on the first time and lifted it up gently and repositioned it. The adhesive was just as sticky as the first time so there is room for error. I have a cheap jelly case off amazon on it currently until my devil case comes in from overseas but it does not have any conflict with the screen protector as long as you get it on next to perfect.
Clarity is good except for one small small detail and another really annoying detail. The small detail is you can see a line around the boarder between the glass and the "carbon fiber". While annoying I can understand that it's 2 different materials and I don't see how you couldn't have that problem. The really annoying one is it cuts off some pixels on both sides of the screen. It isn't really noticeable until i use reddit sync which then when viewing the comments it becomes apparent. It kinda irritates me but for the moment I'd rather have a couple of blocked off pixels then the screen exposed.
I give it a 6/10 mostly because of the cut off pixels. If it wasn't for that my initial rating would be more of a 8 or a 9/10. I will comment later on down the road if I experience the adhesive pulling up.

Lol, I am positive I saw your review on Amazon when I left mine (we also have the same case). Anyhow, although I disagree with the installation, I agree with everything else. Installation for me was slightly confusing, but really easy once I understood what to do. Air bubbles were a pain to get out, but that's to be expected. As for the quality, it's perfectly fine except for your two points. Mostly your second point: the pixel cutoff. While definitely bearable and not very noticeable most of the time, in certain apps it really is irritatingly noticeable. I would have to recommend against getting this screen protector and waiting until a better one comes out. I'm keeping it on until I find a really good case and/or a better glass screen protector.
Has anyone tried the Nillkin "Amazing H tempered glass screen protector"? Would really like to know if it's any good because I enjoy their frosted case.
Looks like Devilcase now offers a curved glass screen protector: http://www.twdevilcase.com/en/index.php?menu=prod_detail&mid=21&did=7&pid=5280&list=class
BTW, their case for this phone is really thick. Not as stylish as their early, asymmetrical cases :/

This is not great, but is the best I've found so far. It's not got perfect adhesion on the edges, but I've tried the super soft screen protector, flat glass and curved glass with glue only on the edges so dirt gets under it. I'd love to find a curved glass one that has glue all over it instead of just a tiny but around the edges.
I'm also looking for a curved screen protector that "glues" properly (direct contact) to the entire screen, not just the edges.
It doesn't have to be tempered glass either, simple cheap TPU would work fine.
The ebay one mentioned above doesn't ship outside of UK, so it's no good for me.

I have a problem with that screen protector, it turns proximity sensor always on, so you can't access the phone in call.
When I removed the devilcase curved glass screen protector, the proximity sensor starts to work again.
Seems that roxfit screen protector has similar issue.

Moto Z2 Force Glass Screen Protector MegaThread!!

Hi everyone!
I"m very excited for Aug 10th to get this phone... and even though it's shatterproof, I've heard from a few people on YouTube that the phone is NOT scratchproof :/ So we are still going to have to search for the Best Screen Protector.
As new ones come out and are verified, I will update this post! Good luck with the search everyone. My first one that I'm going to try is Probably the Mr Shield or an OMOTON one. I don't see amFilm yet, but it's early still.
Cheers!
Stu
I had the Z force. The screen came pre-installed with a plastic protector which scratches instantly. I never removed mine, just placed a glass one over it. When I did that the screen became super reflective because there were too many layers of stuff (it was annoying). This time I will remove the plastic screen protective the moment the glass one arrives. From the old phone they say that the Verizon glass protectors were the best, I think they are listed as flexible glass. Others have said they used different brands that have worked well too, so we will just have to try and see. One things for sure, it will need a glass protector right out of the box unless you like scratches.

You haven't burst my bubble, this is good news. It's one less step I have to take now to get my glass protector on. I would suggest everyone get the absolute thinnest glass screen protector you can find to keep the light touches responsive and screen glare to a minimum.
While Amazon is amazing, it can be incredibly frustrating trying to sift through the hundreds of cheap Chinese junk products to find the quality ones. You can't always go by reviews either. I like to look for bigg-ish name brands and read their product page thoroughly. I decided to go with this protector: https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Skinomi-Hardness-Ballistic-Tempered/dp/B071G6ZV7J/ It's made by Skinomi which makes high quality products. They also listed the glass to be .33mm thick which is the thinnest I could find. I checked the Verizon website and they had two options, one not listing the thickness and the other being .4.
Also the Skinomi one mentions something about clarity and I suspect that the cheaper protectors are the ones with a lot of reflection to them. Not sure on that. I will come back and give my review of the Skinomi glass protector when I get it on the phone.
I bought this same brand last year for my Moto Z and it has been great. So I ordered the Moto Z2 force version. Hopefully quality will be as good:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072M7WH6N/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got my phone today and put on the Skinomi protector within 5 seconds. No bubbles, easy install, no extra glare, and I can give the screen the absolute lightest touch and it responds. I'm talking I can barely feel the touch on the tip of my finger and it works. That .33mm thickness works well.

The Verizon one is great! No complaints so far.
Yeahhhh....IQshield one not so good. Doesn't apply correctly to the screen. Used all 3 and every single one has a nice bubble in the lower right of the device next to the home button. Glass feels good, but either my device has a nice bend in the lower right or the glass just isn't flat. Other interesting thing....3 pack of protectors, yet only ONE set of installation stuff (prep pad/dust remover sticker).....weird. I'd just recommend staying far away from this one. Has good reviews, but I don't get how. And I'm not a rookie when it comes to screen protectors, so I know I'm putting this thing on right...

I know bubbles usually go away in a short time.
It's not bubbles, though. The entire lower right to the right of the fingerprint sensor doesn't adhere to screen. So either my device came bent or the batch of protectors I got are slightly warped in that lower right.

I've had that happen before with certain phones. No brand could fix it. Even this phone did it right in the beginning and over the course of a day it fully sealed. Good luck in solving this because it can be very annoying.

Of course it has no bubbles because it's plastic and you did a good job putting it on. Nice rainbow effect with the light though.

I also had an issue with a persistent gap, using this screen protector, in the upper left and right corners (left of the FFC and right of the flash). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072Q55HFY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I ordered a different brand, but intended to just leave this one on until it arrived. After about 36 hours and heating up and cooling down a few times, the gaps had disappeared. My theory is that the phone's screen is just not as flat as a traditional glass panel, so you do not have two perfectly flat mating surfaces when using a tempered glass screen protector. It seems the screen is soft enough to eventually form to the screen protector, as i'm sure the screen protector is a more stable material than the screen.

How is it. I got this one to try from skinomi
https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Sk...084&sr=8-5&keywords=z2+force+screen+protector
I didn't like how it set on the phone, couldn't get it to adhere everywhere. Currently I got a z play screen protector on my device. It cover the fingerprint partially, but seems to be better then the skinomi.
https://www.amazon.com/protector-Co...1279&sr=1-32&keywords=z+play+screen+protector
I'm not sure because of the black bottom and top and the screen protector makes it so I can't see any non adhesiveness.
