Did you not read????
This is ONLY for STOCK OA1 NOT for CUSTOM ROMS

To be fair you said no custom 4.4.4 roms.
How about custom 4.4.2 roms? I'm on extreme dk

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the OP before flashing, if you are on any type of custom ROM do not flash this
if you are running Unity, DK or any of the other custom roms DO NOT FLASH THIS

Very cool. OA1 is the best my phone has run. Anxious to see what this mod does. Thanks again.

awesome
Thanks for the updat

So, should I revert to stock, root, then flash this? Does anyone know if the battery and performance enhancements are better than dk?
Sent from my SM-G900A using XDA Free mobile app

In my purely subjective opinion it runs as well as dk, but not better. Battery a little worse, but the same if you run it in power saving mode. It's quirky in some ways, ie couldn't get Google wallet to run (just use softcard), I couldn't change the boot animation (just black screen), and I had to use a WiFi manager from the appstore to manage different WiFi access points (built in refused to work). But it feels super smooth and crisp, I am pretty sure the camera is better (seems improved significantly in low light), and I prefer the white dialer and messaging app for whatever reason, so overall I prefer the update over dk, which I liked quite a bit. All my favorite xposed tweaks work great too.
It's easy enough to downgrade if you're not happy. I used the nce return to stock zip plus the nce bl file in Odin 3.09 at the same time for a speedy return to nce, but I still came back again to OA1.

Is this compatible with xposed? I'm running rooted stock oa1 with safe strap, have frozen a number of system apps, and running several xposed modules.
Can I assume this will work?

simple tweaks,
1. init.d support
2. a few DNS tweaks for stability in networking
3. a few sysctl kernel and VM and memory tweaks
if you pull the sysctl.conf file from the zip you can see exactly what is tweaked

Been running this for about 48 hours now and mine definitely feels snappier. Lock screen, transitions, and swapping between apps especially. Battery seems to close to tell, but wasn't that bad in the first place.
Nice work!

Thus far I have:

-Installed Xposed for gravitybox
-Gotten tethering to work (what a pain that rooting doesnt just solve that problem)
-Deleted bloatware
Am I missing anything others are doing?

Hi and good afternoon for all. I build a package to get a better performance on Galaxy tab 3 inch 7 3g T211. I test during five days. I adapted this package (before works only SM-T210, now work perfect on T211).
What's good in this package ?
Better performance for gpu
Cpu run fast systemui
No lags on interface
Battery take a long time (1h~1:10h must, depend your use).

Better performance on games

More free ram
you can get more performance on benchmarks ( I test only quadrant, I don't like antutu)
Full rendering gpu on display
Internet tweaks
Better touch response
Etc...
How can you install :
Download the files Performance Tweaks #1 and Performance Tweaks #2
Copy Performance Tweaks #1 and Performance Tweaks #2 paste for your SD card.
Reboot to custom recovery and choose Install zip from SDCard, select Performance Tweaks #1.zip and install, device will*automatically reboot.

Good work
Tested for 3 days (in stock rom and kernel) pretty good , fast, stable. battery is better or the same than stock i didn´t test it so deeply . it sometimes lags (not very often) but not as much as without the mod . Conclusion, A excellent job for our devices

Stock messaging app definitely isn't there. Why bother removing it?
Edit: Yikes a lot of the UI hacks for xposed are likely going to need updating. 314 breaks the hidden apps slide out menu (not the fault of this rom developer, but I'm sure it could be important for some other users planing to upgrade from 402).

Thanks for the feedback. It was not removed. When I tested the rom, I noticed the missing stock messaging app and reported it to dev. However, when you look into the rom's system\priv-app, the conversation.apk is there so it had us both stumped as to why it is not getting flashed.
Hopefully, we'll get the fix from the dev soon.
Thanks again for reporting.

It seems to work great otherwise. I just rolled back to my backup of .402 because I got used to how my UI was setup using GEM and Xperia Xposed modules. Once they get updated (GEM in particular) I'm sure I'll be back.

I see your point and I myself use these modules. However, different people have different preferences. Therefore, some devs refrain from adding mods like Xposed in the rom as users can add themselves after flashing the rom. I know that @dipesh1502 has plans to provide add ons (themes, sound mods etc.) in Aroma in Themes and Apps section. So, I'm sure he can consider your request.

Can you downgrade back to 5.1 if you flash this and decide its not for you?

Yes. This is only system and boot.img's being flashed. I'm surprised it even works without a M bootstack.

Thanks

Dload and flash kernel and SU from Sevens thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/repack-kernel-root-android-6-0-t3232387
After you reboot google play services will start to force close. Itll be annoying but navigate to Settings->General->Apps and find play services and uninstall updates. It should stop after that. At least it did for me

This likely leads into the security FC but trying to access lockscreen options from display also FCs
If u just flash superu it wont reboot, it looks like it wants to but it just hangs on the lg screen.
Also had force reboots by just trying to uninstall apps. I would say this is highly experimental at this point

You have to flash BOTH the kernel and the SU zips. The SU zip only installs the app. The kernel is what actually enables root. And I would use TiBackup to uninstall things atm
Have you successfully got root to work on this port? I could not. Just stuck in bootloop.
Other bug is sd card doesn't read corretly.
Hopefully T-Mobile will have M soon. I really like the feel of it.

Thank you @@MicroMod777 for everything you have done and keep doing for the H811 community. Truley a great person and Dev (MicroMod777)
Maybe @@BySezerSimsek (another great dev and person) can help out with the few problems (BySezerSimsek)
I flashed Rom, then patch, then kernel, then supersu. Have root, Working great right now aside from Bluetooth.
Didn't think id get to try this out so soon thanks man. The difference is very subtle but i love the feel so far

@snowlin
Are you sure this was your correct method of installing? Only reason why I ask is that I thought the patch had the kernel for H811 to get the phone to boot
Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
Yes it does. I flashed the other kernel to get root but it booted just fine for me

my experience so far,
only boots after flashing the rooted kernel, otherwise it gets stuck on the blue led. charging seems to be very very slow - it's estimating 12+ hours to get like 20% or so charge. If i'm not using the phone it appears to be charging at a decent speed so i'll leave it until the morning. Also, trying to uninstall apps causes a soft reboot.

The link is in the first page of this thread. It's not specifically for the h811. Just read one page back lol.
On a side note, anyone able to get mms to work?
Hello, and thanks for doing this. I can live without Bluetooth no problem, but there are a couple crushing bugs with this build. One being that I cannot uninstall anything (reboots instantly) another is that I cannot access the setting that allows app installation from unknown sources. Or any security setting for that matter. :S
Please advise on possible work arounds.
None at this point. I think we need H811 M bootstack for a full functioning build.

I uninstalled some apps with es file explorer. Just enable root explorer and find the apps you installed under data/app
Or system files under system/app
