Microphone - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Is it just me or do other members of this forum also have problems with there microphone volume?
During a call, people on the other side are hearing me not so good.
And yes i unchecked the noise reduction in phone settings.
If so, anyone got a solution for this problem?

No one???

If you're still using my CM12 build, you might increase the microphone volume with FauxSound app.

Is it in your rom?

No, it's a paid app from Play Store.
However, adjusting the same audio features is also supported by 3C toolbox or System Tuner. Both are free, yet a little too bloated with features I personally don't need.

Can someone help me with a walktrough?

Just install System Tuner, look for Sound Settings and adjust whatever you want

Have a look at this thread from the Themes and Apps section:
Illumination for Xperia SP
It might do just what you want, but if not the developer might be willing to help you achieve what you're after, worth the ask...

Is it possible to completely mute the camera app?

Hello!
I'm sure you've all experienced that sound, played when you start up the camera app. It's loud, long-ish, and very annoying. Not to mention it draws too much attention to you, regardless of whether you want that attention, or not.
What is funny, is that you can disable this sound when you place the phone in Silent mode. So why the hell can't we just mute that one sound in particular? I know that in some countries there are laws about this, but if you can mute it in one way, why not be able to mute it in another way?
So, is there some kind of a 3rd party app (like the google now swipe disabler - thank god for that), which can completely mute all sounds related to the camera? I truly hate this launch sound, it's absolutely terrible to my ears.
Thanks to everyone for reading.
yes, root, install xposed framework and then the Z1 camera tweaks module

Sure, several times. Can you help me because you obviously know something i dont? Btw, i have Zaiben's rom.
Anyone?
If it's not under Settings -> Sound as you state, then maybe
try and search for it in your caller/call app and go into the in app settings?
Would be the only other place I could think of.
I gone from stock since a long time ago so no way for me to tell exactly where this could be.
EDIT: This may be something for you:
Disable Increasing Ring - App - Playstore Link
I searched every place that could have something in common with sound, but nothing.
And I tried that app - good thing about it is that ringtone was normal
but in first few seconds sound stutter a bit so there is good and bad side.
Eh, it seems l'll need to try different rom.
Thanks anyway.

On my N6 there were two issues with low sound.
Settings - Sound & Notifications
The media sound with headphone is safety thing, you need to allow more volume for headphones.
Second issue; low incall-volume was solved with Vcplus app.
Don't know more.
I dunno it seems like a issue with the phone or could it be android m? The notifications on any my 3rd party apps like Facebook messenger are so quiet when the screen is off its insane. When the screen is on their normal.

I am sorry for you. I read about low volume when using Lollipop. The current version MM works OK on my N6.
I am using a lite ROM of Danvdh. A debloated stock ROM.
Maybe this thread has more info for you.

Hi,
Does anybody know how to fix the awful ascending ringtone in the moto g5 plus? I have missed many calls and messages because of this. I am okay to flash a zip file if needed. Please provide a fix.
Disabling it in settings seems to do the trick pretty well...
Here is the zip to disable it.i looked in my phone and there is no option.

Its not in the settings of a lot of phones.
Don't ask me why its not an option. I asked Motorola and they couldn't come up with any reson other than "its the way the phone software was written"
I use the Disable Increasing Ring App which works OK but unfortunately boosts the sound not only for the ring tone but also for every notification I get (email/WhatsApp/Facebook etc) . Shame cos otherwise its a good app.

I thought I missed the option in the settings but apparently it just isn't there. It's a shame almost every other phone has that option under Settings>Sound
