Ok first of all, this post has nothing at all to do with Android except for the fact that I used to be a developer for the HTC Eris and am now a themer for our LG Revolutions.
Here's how I need your help. All I need is for my fans here at XDA, to support a very good friend of mine from back home. I can't believe I never thought of asking this before but here goes the backstory.
One of my very good friends from back home, Ryan Andreas, tried out for America's Got Talent. He flew past the first round but for some reason the judges never gave him a second thought. This guy is a phenominal singer! I'm not just saying that because he is my friend. I'm saying it because I believe it. All I need you guys to do is to watch his performance (and his other home made videos if you want) and judge for yourself. If you feel he is worthy of your support, then please buy his album when it comes out! Even if you don't buy his album, then please at least stop by his website and give him some words of encouragement. Here's the video, thanks guys!

Quick question. I used to be over at the eris forums myself and I was wondering what ROM was it that you were working on. I miss that little eris that could.
I had a Froyo build and a Gingerbread build but they didn't get much recognition since Tazz and Shed came out with their builds way before mine. My Froyo build was called FroHicks and my GB build was called TastyBread.
That's so crazy! He was actually one of my favorites! I couldn't believe it when he didn't make it through!

Yeah we were too, I was in the audience rooting him on for his first performance and so mad when he told us they wasn't sending him through to the next round. So I figured I would try to do my best to get his name out there. He should be coming out with a cd pretty soon hopefully!

SOPA nor PIPA is dead; their votes are only delayed. They will come back under the same name. Trust me on this one. (That's not to say that other smaller bills will not come and go in that time...)

YOu people should really buy the XDA pro service. It removes all of the ads and makes it easier to use.

XDA Pro. It's a service you pay $30 a year, and have a much better experience on XDA. They are still working to releasing it to the masses, but you can send me a paypal gift of $30 and I will forward that to the mods and make sure you have XDA Pro.

Did I tell you I'm going to work? I took the screenshot, then went to put on my work clothes (working at a catering hall means you have to dress nice) and then I came back to upload it. And no, I am not taking a picture of myself in my work clothes.

My computer dying has taught me one thing though. I haven't been that upset in years I absolutely freaked when it died
again. But I now know I've found my passion and what I want to do for the rest of my life. I'm gonna work in software development and I'm gonna make some Damn nice custom ROM's when I'm back.

Holy ****, wasn't expecting that. Thank you so much for the kind gesture but will it work? I'm gonna pawn my old Inc S should be able to get a hundred out of it. One things for sure, losing my computer made me go apply at multiple different jobs. I can only hope one comes through.
To the person who said cloud backup and warranty, my warranty expired over a year ago and I have to share 100GB of data between a family of 6. One cloud backup of my important data wouldve put us over the limit. (F**k you northwestel and Bell)

Count me in for $10 too. This is a really good & happening community/family/ call it what you like, and I sure don't want to stand by the sidelines. I suppose all our devoted devs ( and all of us too) will eventually gravitate to other phones when the inc s reaches EOL, but until then, let's show our appreciation to our devs.
