It is very nice to see that you are porting CM12 to kazam.
I have kazam thunder 2 5.0, with similar specs to q4.5 but with larger screen 5" and the cam being 13 Mp.
Do u think will it be possible to use in my device (it is also a MT6582)?

I am working as hard as I can to port cyanogenmod over to the thunder q4.5, but as stated, in April my hard drive got completely corrupted and so I lost all my progress, and I'm also having to focus on my school life more over the community development side, this has always been an ongoing project when I have free time, I'm sure you can appreciate why its taking so long, given that this is also my first port, and so is bound to take longer to complete than other, future ports, so please bear with me while I finish porting or feel free to learn how to port yourself and try it, as its a lot harder than it sounds, or seems, as most porters have days on end of free time to port and test, and have been working with the very low level stuff of android for years.
I will post updates as soon as I get the first version that will run as well as posting a list of currently known bugs.

I made this thread in response to Svetius's PM to all RD's and RC's. Please see the message below.
I will no longer answer any questions about my ROM in the original thread. That is there for purely development posts. Any questions about flashing etc need to be here.

Sorry for the mass PM.
Lately we know a lot of you are getting annoyed by new users asking questions, and spamming development threads with these. We've listened, and we think we've worked out a way to help, but we'll need your assistance to make this work!
If you want users to be able to ask questions for your ROM, kernel, or other development, we would like to suggest you create a thread in the Q&A, Help and Troubleshooting forum for your device, using the same name as your main thread with perhaps a "[Q&A]" tag to preface the title, and link to this visibly in the first post of your development thread with a message like "For help, assistance, or if you have a question, use the (link)Help and Troubleshooting thread(/link)".
Then, it's up to you whether you want to spend time in the questions thread or if you want other XDA members to help to answer questions. Again, this is totally optional, but it might help in a big way to keep ROM threads focused and in fact might improve overall post quality across XDA, as most new members come to the site for help with a development work they've installed. If these questions annoy you, by directing them to another thread, we should help to preserve development threads free of silly repeat questions.
We are looking at ways to automate this for the future, but for now, it's something we'd like to try.

Currently I am looking at trying to get the new bootsplash to show. I changed from the boring xperia screen to a custom one, but it wont show.
Also, I want to find a way to clear data of the home screen / app drawer so that the empty placeholders do not show on a fresh install.

I think you will have to edit the launcher apk for that.

I thought that, any ideas of what to edit? I could just take the home.apk from a generic rom, but i like getting my fingers into it if you know what i mean...its all a learnign curve..

OK, I have just got home after a weekend away with my scouts.
Has anyone still got any bugs with the home button on V1.3.0 or V1.3.1? As hard as I try I cannot reproduce that bug, it works fine for me, both on a clean install and after just flashing over v1.2.0

Not sure if this thread was hoping for an AOSP port, but Cyanogenmode recently posted the new CM12 branch. Its not going live in nightlies for a little while but as far as I can tell its a fully buildable branch I'm just unsure whether it'll work with the existing CM11 kernel, or if the device blobs will even function correctly on an upgrade this big.

flash successful.
I have gotten it to flash successfully but i forgot to write down the logs (my bad) i found the issue of why it didnt flash though. Ive seen a few files sitting in the wrong place and i moved them to their original spots and I've gotten rid of that extra folder when you open the zip file and see there that leads to the other files. Once i did that, i zipped it back up and renamed it to nexus 6 port test. It took awhile but it flashed successfully. The only bad thing about it is that it cant get pass the warning bootloader unlocked screen. If you want the rom i changed, just let me know and i can upload it to mediafire when i get out of school today.

i suppose it's extremely needed to have both this features together
more than that, htc one mini has got such great Modified HBOOT. i'd like to get rid of this annoying red message on the boot screen. is our device suitable for it?
and for @bilal_liberty: sorry if i don't understand something, but apps like poweramp (music player) or quickpic (gallery) didn't recieve the opportunity to delete files from external sd. why is it so?

No, unfortunately not... Like I've said in many threads before....
This rom, and many others are not only dead in development, but also dead in hosting... GONE, LOST FOREVER!!!!
I had a work with one of the members of PAC team, and for some reason he then decided to DELETE the entire N(7000)ote section altogether, not even leaving it for archiving purposes....
Personally, I think PAC have lost their way since JB rom anyway, as the KK edition was useless in comparison....
It's a pity no one (other than Bauner) really, are supporting our device anymore... which is a shame, as YES I know it's old now... But its still powerful enough to run Lollipop. Heck, I've seen it running on worse hardware, and even the S2 is getting more love than the Note....
Look to China, they're still knocking out roms...
