[Q] Mic not working PLEASE HELP

Hello I have a nexus one and I am having problems with the mic when I call or when people call me they used to not be able to here my first hello then they all the sudden could here me. Now sometimes the mic works and sometimes it does not. The majority of the time is does not work. But I know that the mic is not out because the times that the mic does not work I can hear what I say in the headset but the person on the other end of the call cannot here me. Any suggestions?

Nexus 6 Problem with mic when calling

Hi,
I got problem with the mic while using the N6 for calling via cellular, the sound is not clear and dropping constantly
It's not happening when calling via Whatsapp or other app. For recording sound via recorder or camera, it works well too.
Any idea how this can happen? I've tried reflash to completely stock and it's still happening
My guess is the voice call mic got some trouble. Do N6 use the same mic for voice and whatsapp call?
RMA is not an option since Motorola is died already here
Bump!

No sound on call, mic not working for receiving end.

I'm having an issue with my Galaxy S6 920A on T-Mobile. If I originate a call in an area of weak signal many times the receiver cannot hear me, as if the mic is not working. Happens about 50% of the time. No problems with the mic, sound recorder is fine, I can make wifi calls and works every time. Incoming calls work most of the time (occasionally, maybe about one out of 10 calls has same issue). The outgoing channel is working because I can send DTMF tones using the keypad and the receiver will hear those, just not any voice from the mic. This is happening on two phones, one with Android 7.0 and one with Android 5.0.1. Also doesn't matter if I use a bluetooth headset, same issue. Can't have a phone where I have a 50/50 chance of my recipient hearing me. Any help would be appreciated.
Can anyone help on this? I'm trying to figure out if I have a physical problem with the phone or if they all work like this. Seems unusual that I would have two phones bought at different stores with different color and they both have this issue. Thanks.

Speakerphone mic doesn't work

Can't use the phone on speakerphone or voice dictation to text, but if I have it in normal call mode the person on the other end can hear me just fine wtf? Just randomly happened a few days ago then I updated to the newest firmware and still no help.
Also can record video with sounds just fine

I'm in the same boat. No speakerphone, voice to text, voice recording, Google, ect.. regular phone calls works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Question microphone issue during whatsapp video call

Hi all
Has anyone of you noticed problems with the microphone during Whatsapp video calls? I mean, I often make calls with my parents who distinctly hear only my voice but hear the voices of my daughters very badly. I tried using other phones convinced that the problem was in the speaker of the phone I was calling, but instead the voices are heard very well.
Is there any setting I can change?
Thanks!
