[Q] Is there any place to import a Z4? - Xperia Z4/Z3+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I noticed that there are a few carriers in Japan selling them, but it doesn't seem that Sony sells their phones directly off the website anymore.
The problem with buying from a cell carrier is that you need to have an account with them. Is there any place to buy them directly from Sony, or do I just have to wait for them to start showing up on eBay?

Stores in USA to get unlocked HTC one?

could you guys point me websites that I can buy unlocked HTC one? So fat I know expansys-usa.
I'm not from USA, but I want to buy black HTC one and send it to my friends house.
Also does anyone know stores in LA California that sells unlocked phones? Since I don't live in the us, it would be best to buy at the store instead of ordering online in case of any issues.
Thank you very much.

[Q] Purchasing a One in the UK

Hi all,
I am travelling to the UK this summer (I live in Israel), and after making great use out of my Desire for almost 3 years, I feel it's time for an upgrade. Now, I have checked a number of shops that offer the phone, however the prices vary by about £10-£20 (Clove, Handtec, Phones4U - even O2, but it's SIM locked for 12 months). So I'm at a loss as to where to order from. Maybe Amazon.co.uk?
After purchasing the device, does anyone know whether or not I can claim VAT back (due to not living in the EU)? That would save a few extra £'s..
I am also concerned about the network bands it uses - I think the one I need is the 801n (900/2100 3G) - do all vendors in the UK sell this particular variant? Also, is this rumour about a 64GB device even worth holding my breath for? 32GB could definitely be more than enough...
Finally, warranty - if anything happens (touch wood that it doesn't), would sending the device via airmail back to the UK be sufficient for warranty purpose? Or is it void if I live outside of the UK?
Many thanks for all help provided
I do not know about the other questions, but you will not be able to claim VAT back in the UK. I believe the UK is the only country you cannot do that in; I have done it in France, Sweden, Germany and some others, but not in the UK. One question, though, how are you going to buy a device that is sim locked for 12 months, or in other words, how are you going to buy a contract-locked device if you do not actually live there? Wouldn't they require green cards, credit cards, proof of residence and such? Or at least that's how it was with AT&T and the iPhone.
Well I figured that the pay&go offer meant you didn't need an address..
Regardless, the vat and sim locked version are the last of my worries compared to the other questions.

Most of the sellers you have listed sell sim unlocked versions of the One but I don't know how the prices compare to those you have.
I have purchased phones from both Handtec (online) and Carphone Warehouse (in store) and always pay for sim unlocked.
As to the model the ones available in the UK will be the M7-UL 801n which is the international variant and should be fine for most of the world but you will need to check the frequencies available before purchase.
Hey again..
I just checked, and it seems that MobiCity have a UK website selling the 801S version, as well as a 64GB version!?
Does this even make sense? That's the Australian/Asian version AFAIK..

International Customers - how to buy/where to buy?

Since I don't own a US billed Credit Card I cannot buy from motorola USA, is there any other way to buy this phone? found it on ebay but 120$ - 160$ more expensive than motorola, insane difference.. Anyone know any other option? or how to buy from motorola? I want it unlocked
I also want to know how to get it outside the US. I do have an address I can send the device inside the US, but since they don't take foreign credit cards I'm screwed. If you found any answer please comment here

Where to buy to use out of the box?

I would like to buy a Xiaomi Mi5 (3/64, because 4/128 it is too rare and expensive), but I have read that it could be happened that a reseller can sell items with malaware or other app.
I live in Italy and I have to use it as the only phone.
I am not an expert and I would like that the phone is ready to use with Google apps and with OTA update.
I do not know if I can write here the online shop that sell it in Italy to ask an hint

UK: where to buy the dual sim (L29) P20 pro?

I am in the UK and am considering getting a dual sim (the L29 variant) of the Huawei P20 Pro.
Do you know of any store that sells the dual sim version (sim-free, unlocked), and that would ship to the UK? A reputable foreign store that would ship to the UK would be OK, too (but if from outside the EU, I must make sure that VAT and custom duties don't end up costing too much).
The only UK online store I have found is www.clove.co.uk , which is out of stock at the moment.
I understand Three UK sells the dual sim, but the Three signal is too unreliable where I live.
EE, Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse don’t sell the dual sim (I asked their chat tech support).
I have found some supposedly UK-based vendors in the UK, that sell at £690 vs Clove’s £790. It seems like a good price, but maybe too good to be true? I’d think a reputable store would give me more peace of mind.
Amazon UK lists two external vendors which sell at the same price as clove, but some user reviews mention the box was opened and the phone covered in fingerprints (used phone? Customs inspection? A return?).
Thanks!
I bought mine from Amazon France. Got fed up of looking for it in the UK
Wondamobile. Com
Thank you, guys.
@qwerty1q, have you tried wondamobile? Does the price really include VAT and custom fees, as they say? You don't think buying from a UK store like clove is worth the extra £100 or so?
@dreamWille, do you remember if you bought it directly from Amazon France or from a third-party vendor listed there? Searching Amazon France now, I get a vendor that has an address listed in Spain.
Thank you, guys.

I always buy directly from Amazon because of warranty purposes.
Check all the Amazon sites (Germany, Spain's, France etc)
One of them should have it in stock
Currently have a note 8 duos, have someone willing to trade for a p20 pro single sim. Worth the trade? Honest opinions?
Model CLT-L04, what is the difference in models?

Don't hijack other people's discussions. Asking a question by opening a separate thread would be better. Also bear in mind you're more likely to hear pro-Huawei opinions on Huawei forums, and pro-Samsung opinion on Samsung forums, because, clearly, each forum will be more populated by people who have chosen that brand

Common sense, as well as explicit rules in most forums, suggest it is frowned upon to hijack discussions and bring them off topic. If this is not true of XDA, I apologise because I didn't know. I still dare question, however, what the benefit is of reading a discussion about where to buy an item to then find messages about how that item compares with another one.
Think you'd be lucky from a contract perspective.
SIM free maybe.
Try uSwitch they've got some nuts deals.
Or just buy my Oneplus 5 off me
