I've just flashed android lollipop "n9005xxugbob6" (official firmware) to my Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 and the root doesn't work...
It says that the su files needs to be updated but it doesn't update them.
Can someone please share a link to download chainfire's cf root for thie version PLEASE...?
If you can connect to your phone via adb, and have a root prompt, I can forward you a solution thay you may _TRY_ .
What do you mean "connect via adb" ?
adb is a tool you run on your PC to connect to the phone via a USB cable. You'll find more info through a web search.

i have tr .apk installed on my phone then i tried to install the root and it says phone is not currently supported is there anyway i can try and root the device?
If you are on the D415-10e firmware you will how to downgrade it to 10c first using LG_Flash_Tool (it's in the forums if you search by that). After downgrading you can use towelroot to root the device and then disable OTA updates by dialing the following code: 3845#*415#
Having entered the system menu, scroll to WLAN Test.
Select OTA Setting option and turn it off by tapping the Disable button. You can search for the 10c firmware also. I am going to try to attach them, but do not know if XDA will let me yet. Anyhow...the instructions for the Flash Tool are at

Towelroot fails (Maybe said unsupported device not sure.). When I try to boot to recovery, using ADB commands adb shell
reboot recovery, I get this image with the green Android with red triangle (Search from Google, can't add any links yet.)
Which version of the OS are you running? I have a different version (D415) but after I upgraded to 5.0.2 Towelroot wouldn't work anymore and I had to try using King Root, which worked successfully. Maybe give King Root a try?

Hey guys, having some trouble rooting this SPRINT FLEX....
My build is the ZVA Build... KOT49I.LS995ZVA - It's on the Stock 4.4.2 Android, kernel is 3.4.0
I cannot find any information anywhere on this. Tried using iORoot and LG_ROOT to manually root, via ABD ... My device connects to ADB and everything but when i try to Push any root files via iOROOT Installation aborts ...

You dont need kingoroot.
If you have never been rooted before just ut towelroot and bruteforce the root. Reboot and you're done. Install supersu from playsotre enjoy!

First of all: note 5 N9200 ( it's HK dual sim version) it's not on the list of supported phones by that metod. So, if you don't want your phone as a brick try to find a way to root certified for EXACTLY your phone.

I downloaded this program:
Latest version of Odin on the PC
SuperSU in the mobile phone
Root Checker in the mobile phone
Samsund driver for my PC
TWRP_3.0.2-1_SM-T285_20161124 .zip on the PC
My phone is in USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking.
Than the phone in download mode and than loaded with Odin the TWRP_3.0.2-1_SM-T285_20161124 .tar in the phone.
Odin shows me Pass, if i start SuperSU and Root Checker in my Phone than show that the phone is not Root???
What I make wrong?
Did any of you have root the Samsung A6 ???

There is instructions how to flash it with explanations of everything including the 7 day RMM lock. After you successfully install TWRP, flash latest magisk zip (you can search for magisk in Google) and you should be rooted. anybody got root? Twrp flashed successfully but when i root i get bootloop no matter what method used.

I am actually trying to root the SM-A600FN on a mac and wondering if it is possible before I start tinkering with it and get to a point of no return and it won't work for me.

i root my a605fn i do this
extract firmware in folder then copy ap file to my sd card install magisk open magisk and select ap file you just copy to your sd card boom now magisk are flashing ap file after finish go to download and you will see file magisk patched.tar copy that file to your pc open odin select ap slot load magisk patched you copyed from phone and start flashh after flashing reboot phone you must be in stock recovery do factory reset and wait to phone boot setup phone and install magisk now you have rooted your phone
