Sygic conflict? - Xposed General

Hi there,
Am on COS 12, running Sygics navigation maps ver 15.2, the moment I install Xposed for Lollipop they stop functioning and crash?
If I have Xposed install earlier they wont get installed?
Using the xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430 and XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk, any solutions, suggestions why, since need both?
Had no issues when was on ktkat CM 11S.
Thanks.

Same problem here.
Sygic has to fix it. There was already a discussion in the Xposed Discussion thread.
Latest working Sygic version is 15.0.4, any newer version will crash with xposed.
If you open Xposed > Log, you can see the error.

Edit: On Google+ Sygic says that they know that there are problems with custom roms and xposed, but it is low priority right now...

As you posted Sygics know about the problems with Custom Roms, which Rom would you suggest to flash for OnePlus One which wont have a conflict with Sygics and Xposed framework?
Thanks.

Please read what the others have written above you, before posting.
Sygic conflicts directly with Xposed, regardless of which ROM you use (including the stock ROMs). Sygic also conflicts with custom ROMs, even when Xposed is not installed.
To answer your question: None.

I contacted Sygic today and they basically told me they're not handling it.
It's purely the fault of Xposed so they don't really care.
My current solution is MultiROM. If I need GPS navigation, I just reboot to a minimal ROM where Sygic works without any issues.

I have the same issue. Only version that works for me is 15.0.4 or lower. but these versions don't support the 2015 maps.
As my phone (nubia) has a customised UI that is what is causing sygic to break. I have completely uninstalled xposed and have the same issue. So its definitely sygics issue. I will email their support, hopefully they can release a fix. If enough people complain to them about the issue that aren't using xposed then hopefully they will have to listen.

[Q] Creat working odex file for framework

I will modify the CM 7.2 by vo-1 but I will to have this rom odex, I have deodex the framework, then apply my changes and now I will create odex fill for it, I have follow this steps:
Code:
/data/odex/dexopt-wrapper file.jar file.odex
/data/odex/zip -d file.jar classes.dex
It's create odex files but the system doesn't boot:
Code:
I/dalvikvm( 387): DexOpt: Some deps went away
E/dalvikvm( 387): /system/framework/core.jar odex has stale dependencies
I/dalvikvm( 387): Zip is good, but no classes.dex inside, and no valid .odex file in the same directory

MIUI.us v4 2.7.13 Porting Error

Hi,
I am noob to android. I recently started porting MIUI.us v4 2.7.13 to our device. (Spice MI410). I got boot animation successfully but, the phone enters to bootloop after that. I have followed the method suggested by CK and proxuser. And the logcat shows the below error.
E/dalvikvm( 227): ERROR: couldn't find native method
E/dalvikvm( 227): Requested: Lcom/android/server/PowerManagerService;.nativeStartSurfaceFlingerOffAnimationI)V
E/JNIHelp ( 227): RegisterNatives failed for 'com/android/server/PowerManagerService', aborting
F/libc ( 227): Fatal signal 11 (SIGSEGV) at 0xdeadbaad (code=1)
But both in my base ROM and MIUI ROM PowerManagerService is not available in com/android/server (After I decompiled the framework.jar)
Please help me???????
have you pm CK or elol? they manage to port miui, sure they can help you

maybe this thread will help you to port miui to our device,
Hi Thanks Guys.
Special thanks to azranashraf, for the xda reference and CK for resolving the Powermanager service question.
I had some issues in porting MIUI.us 2.7.13(I will post my issues later). SO I tried MIUI RD 2.5.25 and successfully booted in to lockscreen. But now the problem is I got an error message in the lockscreen which says com.android.phone process has stopped and even if I hit ok, it is not closing(Loop).
Can anyone help me with that?
Edit:
I also booted the MIUI.us 2.7.13 in to lockscreen(Fixed the Powermanager issues). But still this one is also having the same issues as my MIUI-RD. Soon I will post my logcat. Please help me with this.

Thanks mate.
@ardx: Here is my complete logcat for MIUI RD 2.5.25
The base I used is 20120621-NIGHTLY-CM9-A99
http://pastebin.com/i4MytFtW
I have attached my build.prop also for your reference.
Also FYI, I am having the same "Unfortunately COM.ANDROID.PHONE process has been stopped" error in MIUI.US 2.7.13
Also attaching the logcat and build.prop for the above.

your base miui framework not have LGEQualcommRIL class that used in our phone.
try follow CK guide carefully
"unable to resolve new-instance 4706 (Lcom/android/internal/telephony/LGEQualcommRIL in Lcom/android/internal/telephony/PhoneFactory"
try to fix that.
You need to patch PhoneFactory.smali to construct your class instead of RIL:
find "RIL" word (there will be 2 entries) and replace them to "LGEQualcommRIL".
Make sure you've copied and replaced all RIL*.smali and copy LGEQualcommRIL*.smali at
/smali/com/android/internal/telephony ín framework.jar. Also copy QualcommSharedRIL.smali from that CM9 base. And also LGEQualcommUiccRIL.smali if exist (different CM9 base might be not exist).

I did that too. If I copy QualcommSharedRIL.smali, then I am getting some error. I am having a logcat for that. Soon I will upload that too.

good Ibhi.... for making 10, post thanks in other thread ... that can help you .. also for making thread you need to have 40 post, 10 post barrier is for commenting in development section, so you can post thread in general section, then we can request moderator to shift it to development section (these are rules from what I am aware, not read it in rule book hence may be I am wrong)
Best of luck Ibhi for your first port ...:good:

Nexus 7 keeps resetting

I did a factory reset of the device, connect to wiki didn't set up google account, no extra apps installed. Upgraded to 4.1.1.
Every minutes or two, the device will reset itself and sometime it will get stuck at X. Press power button for 10 seconds and it will reset. However it just keeps resetting, I can't stop that.
I enabled the usb debugging and do a adb logcat and get the follow message before it reset:

I expected so and hence I asked.
From what I understood, library files (.so files) cannot be of different size. If not of same size as current files you ll get boot loops. Lesson learnt the hard way (had to do clean build so many times using LG support tool).
Vijay2, pls dont make posts of something you didnt test.

i wonder how you got the zip installed.
looking the installer
Code:
###############################
##Script Made By ZeroInfinity##
###############################
#############
#####ROM#####
#############
if file_getprop("/tmp/aroma-data/rom.prop","selected") == "1" then
ui_print("Mounting...");
mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p12", "/system");
it tries to mount your system main partition of p12 when we actually got it on p3
result: you install nothing good on your p12 partition which on our device is something different.
CAL -> /dev/block/mmcblk0p12this partition on o4x is used for mobile firmware and datacollections for mobile info. you could have possible bricked your mobile part
so please do not say you installed and tested the zip, when its impossible to install with cwm and get a good result from doing it.
or at least nothing changes besides your experience that you felt you installed audio improvements and you think you hear it.
its known from medical practice, you get a dummy pill and suddenly feel cured, although the pill was worthless in any cure.
as its no problem to recover,
here is the bootloop problem on our o4x if you install it and do not know what you are doing to recover.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FLASHING
Do a FULL WIPE first. Full Wipe means format /system, /data, /cache.
Now flash ROM and then GAPPS through recovery.
After flashing, do NOT reboot phone. Instead POWER OFF the device and boot to bootloader.
Extract the boot.img from rom and flash it using fastboot flash boot boot.img command.
Reboot.

HTC desire C custom ROM
I have installed CyanogenMod 10.1 with the steps given in thios link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265060
everything works fine, except there are problem with wifi.
If i am connected to a wifi and after sometime i have to again restart my hotspot because its cannot detect it.
Head phone is also not detecting.
when i click on Google Play is not responding always.
I tried flashing CM10 on the HTC Desire C, but it keeps bootlooping and I can't seem to find out what's going on.
Here's a syslog just in case. This seems the most interesting part of the log.

So if I understand it correctly the wi-fi works but not without some problems? I'm running the CM10 rom with NOPE v2.6 kernel 825mhz and I get "authentication error", then I have to connect to the wi-fi manually and it works. But it disconnects every time I turn off the screen.
Am I missing something or is there a fix somewhere for this? I've searched through many threads on this board and there seem to be multiple fixes but I'm not sure which I should use as some of them refer to older roms or kernels.

Well, using the app " WiFi keep alive " fixes the issue.

I use that now, but I was wondering if there was any kind of "real" fix instead of a workaround :good:

Ah. That would require finding a better hack for fixing the WiFi, but since everyone uses CM11 now, not many would bother with CM10.

Really? I thought development for Desire C CM11 had stagnated. Is there a working build I'm unaware of?

CM10 build 4 for HTC Desire C
I've been using CM10 build 3 and it was pretty good. I read latest post about it and as far as I understand wifi is fixed, thanks for that but there is new bug about apps 0.00b. I wonder is it ok to use this version or choose to go with the old one? Is there anyone to answer my question?

Use this link for TWRP, or if you want to stick with CWM use this.

Desire C back rom
Hi to all,
I used probably bad unlocker or other updater. Any custom rom doesn't work with wifi (error) and GSM providing loop hard reboot.
I tried to use the official HTC rom from exe file. But the recovering failed. I test two version like "RUU_GOLF_U_ICS_40A_HTC_Europe_2.00.401.2_Radio_10.11.98.09H_1.06.98.13M2_release_295101_signed".
I'm looking for good binaries for Desired C Orange French version. Many repo and hosting files servers are down or doesn't hosting anymore the files.
Anybody can't help me to get binary thru any Google Drive or any others ?
Many thanks in advance.
