[Q][REQ]OG Galaxy Gear SM-V700 Still Worth Buying & Using - Samsung Galaxy Gear

Or is it too outdated now, I'm considering getting this one, I like the placement of the camera and the fact I can choose android or tizen, only drawback for me is the 800mhz processor, so I figured I'd ask other users opinions.

Don't waste your time or money for a product that doesn't have a reasonable way to replace the battery. I bought two of them and the battery completely died with very little use in one of them. I will not buy another Samsung watch.

Well there's not very many smartwatches with removable batteries, so I guess you'd be waiting awhile, if they ever come out with one.
They're 50 to 70 bucks now on eBay, I can understand a faulty charging connector or something though, but I highly doubt something this new would suffer from a completely dead and drained battery already by now.

Got mine ordered and on the way, should be here friday or saturday... Hopefully it's still on Android OS and I don't have to retrograde from Tizen.
Nice though that ya can over clock it to 1.60Ghz, I don't see something that small needing a lot of cpu power anyways.

Happy with it regardless of what all it can or can't do makes me want the Rufus Cuff more now... LoL

Where to buy the CBC-200 Battery Charger Adapter?

I'm looking to order this battery charger adapter for the x1. i don't want to go with the generic ebay ones, i would rather spend the extra $ on OEM.

Amazon!
You can get one of Amazon mate, had to get it shipped from germany, i bought one last week cost me £30 though, and its just a fast port battery charger/case. Looks nice mind. Bit overpriced for the product tbh.
thanks mate. i will look into it.

Tiny keyboard (external)

I just bought a Rii Handheld keyboard (RII-518), and I am very happy with it.
It looks like this:

only smaller than you think, and it was only 35 dollars from this site: http://dx.com/p/mini-handheld-rechargeable-bluetooth-wireless-keyboard-93118
It pairs beautifully, and the only think I don't like about it is that it doesn't work right away when you turn it on. You sort of have to push a few buttons, and then change apps - but then it works fine. I usually just turn it on when I start using it, and then don't turn it off until I put the tablet away for the night.
Anyway, try it if you think it's for you.
Tempted to buy this. One of those items I would really like to test drive before I commit though. I have would be using it for note taking in class probably. Thoughts?
Looks nice n compact..
I've got one of the diNovo mini's.
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-000594-diNovo-Mini-Keyboard/dp/B0011FOOI2
Works well, and you have mouse control as well with the trackpad on the right.
I got this one and really like it
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004T0QLLO/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i01
Both of those are rechargeable? And have you tried to do any extensive note taking?
Seems way over priced, have seen similar ones for 10$ shipped on ebay, Chinese ones
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Build quality on the cheap Chinese ones can be very poor though, waste of $10 if you get it and the keys don't work properly.
Well, I won't say the Rii's quality is comparable to an old IBM Model M keyboard, but it certainly works! Well worth the money IMO.

MonoPrice USB cables

Not really a review but more of a recommended buy. I got one almost a year ago and I use it pretty rough in my car and neither end is splitting or even look like its breaking and it charges really fast. Here is the link guys and buy in bulk and save money on shipping.
It's the B-Type and I'm sure the rest are good too. Mono price makes some damn good stuff.

I have been using them for years. I just bought 10 - 10 foot cables for ~$1.78 each. The worst trouble I had with any of them was my dog... she loved to eat them.
Seriously, I think I have bought 50-60 over the years (mostly because of my dog) and have only had one fail.
I get their premium cables without the ferrite. I don't find it get interference with from them or from other devices. I also find throughput is little better. I don't buy in that high a bulk. Usually around two to five cables fits my needs.
I manage a team of technicians with Galaxy S5 & LG G2 phones and they always seem to lose cables. My dog that was the cable eater passed away late last year, so this was the first order in quite awhile.
I have also used there in ear headphones ~$8. They are quite good for the money with a 1 year guarantee.

Okay, WTH? The new iphone 6 is supposed to compete against the S5?

How stupid, blind and loyal do you have to be not to see this glaring fact???

Obvious troll is obvious.
Oh, don't worry the Forbidden Fruit fanboys and girls will claim you don't need such pixel density. In fact, one really doesn't need it, also the GPU has it easier with less pixels to push around.
But no iPhone display has ever had a patch on the beauty of AMOLED. Having a Note 3 at full HD is greatly satisfying for me and, in fact, the GPU has it easy enough, the mobile devices more powerful in existence can be counted on the fingers of my hand.
Battery life. We have it exceptionally easy, we can swap batteries, couple of power saving modes, and the ability to put extended batteries if we so want our phones to last longer...
At 7.1 mm thick, even the 6+ won't have more than 2500 mAh battery. xDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Also, Apple will charge 1000 euro for the 128 GB version of the 6+. With that much money, where I live I can get TWO Notes 3, along with two 128 GB microSD cards.

It used to be great now not so much, people keep bringing up the new iPhone cause they think we all give a ****. If I wanted to talk about the new crappy iPhone I'd buy a crappy iPhone and become one of those self centered/self absorbed @$$holes who sits in a Starbucks pretending to have s life.
Lets not do this, regarding Iphones....Thread Closed.

Decided For the Pixel 4 - vs all the others (Samsung, Apple, and etc)

I am very excited. I really think it's a special phone, at least from a first glance. The phones that Samsung, Apple, LG, and others put out year after year are all.. carbon copies of one another. I always choose an outsider if I have the option for anything outside of the mainstream - you know, especially if everyone has it.
I had HTC m8 when Samsung ruled Android all alone. Than I opted for OnePlus when I broke my HTC.. because, why not right? Cheap, and as good as the twice as expensive ones.
Anyway!!
That was probably the main reason I decided to go with Pixel. On top of guarantee of getting new Android OS probably before anyone else, I also like the lack of a company skin, and bloatware. I mean root does take care of that but you shouldn't need to root to get rid of apps from a device that you OWN.
When I get it, hoping the order process goes without a hitch, I will write my first impressions here.

I didn't spend much time on the forum but from a few reviews I read.. it seems pretty mixed. Some hate it, others love it. Care to enlighten me, please?
Greatly appreciate any effort to that question..
Cheers, Amer
