Am I missing something. How is LYZ28E based on factory image 5.1.1. Factory image 5.1.1 is LMY47Z. E is 5.1.0. Must be AOSP based and not factory image.

Ok. That makes sense since Z is the Verizon 5.1.1 factory image. I only use the factory image anyway since deodex is only needed for modding smali and Android 5.0 lets you mix and match odex and deodex. I only theme and make minor mods anymore. Most theming doesn't require smali. Only deodex the apps needed to complete theme.

Don't do much anymore. Thyrus, FHEM and TBO keep me pretty much updated. I use a gray textured wallpaper, material dark and trans apps. It all blends together. Pretty much get the look that I would theme anyway. Don't use Xposed as it causes more problems than it fixes. Mine is fast and looks good. That's all that matters.

I believe the flash-all script from the website will overwrite the recovery.
So for the time being, no.

No, because it will overwrite the recovery.
After running the flash-all script, the stock recovery replaces whatever recovery is on the device.
The flash-all script is not a flashable zip as you may be used to on the forums here.
It is a script that installs the files from your computer as opposed to using files in the zip on your device.

Why did your camera failed? I definitely don't think it's because of xposed, but maybe due to any of your modules.

you could either replace the modified statusbar.xml with an original that you backed up or extracted from a factory image.
OR just flash the system.img from the factory image.

Does anyone have the stock statusbar.XML? I'm using a Mac and can't mount the system IMG to extract it. If anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
just flashed this over Cataclysm, doesn't work Really wish Cataclysm had status bar date and day settings.

It's so basic every other ROM has it! I don't quite understand why the dev's decision to exclude it is because it takes up too much space. Is the Nexus 6P not one of the biggest phones out there? I'm sure the majority of ROM users adjust the dpi to allow for more space. And it's an option that can be enabled or disabled! The dev allows every other icon/text to be enabled/disabled, why not one more? The ROM is great overall though so it just sucks not having this haha.
Very cool!

Xposed functionality was disabled in slim due to the developer. Works perfectly well on cm12 though.
Safe?
Define safe. What one considers safe, another may consider too risky. Some xposed modules will always run the risk of problems. Always a chance you might have to reinstall your rom & restore your backups. Xposed modules can do some low level modifications to your system, it will never be "safe".

Xposed was never "disabled" in slim. It was just incompatible with the ART optimizations that served to speed up the rom.
Xposed works fine in the SlimLP 0.13 build, it was made to be xposed compatible. Big thanks to csolanol, Slim Fire developer.

Well the dev is pretty clear that it doesn't work on normal SlimLp, I'm not sure what they could have done to be more clear really.
