Sweet. Looking into it now.

I know that many don't care for the "custom ringtone" the G4 came with, but if you do.. You'll need the Tmo name/id app, even if you don't subscribe. Just a heads up for those using debloated roms.

That's a huge file!

Gotta be. It's a tweaked stock rom

Can this be dirty flashed over your stock debloated rom, or only the xTreme?

I'm assuming this has OTA disabled? Maybe something to add to the OP?

I am confused.....what is the difference in the variants, 10c and 10h? I would assume the 10h is newer but is 10c better?

Thanks! Like the wallpapers

This fix or remove the touchscreen issues?

@MicroMod777 does the rom include any modification to the built in T-Mobile hotspot? I know I saw that requested on your debloated rom thread.
Also.... When you debloat, are you removing carrieriq stuff?
I have an android based head unit in my vehicle and am used to tethering daily. I have the usual 5gb of hotspot included in my tmo unlimited plan, but I tend to exceed that on a monthly basis.
If it's not included.... Officially requesting it be added!
Thank you for pumping out work for the h811. Starting to see some of the recognizable names in the G4 threads and excited for what's cooking. But its always the guys doing initial early builds for a newly rooted device that end up bringing the most out of the stock experience.
Your work is appreciated sir

For those asking about the tethering mod, here's the dirty fix if you'd rather use native tethering:
1) Create a new APN which mirrors the following:
T-Mobile LTE
fast.t-mobile.com
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MCC 310
MNC 260
APN type: default,supl,mms,admin,dun
APN protocol: IPv4 or IPv4/6
2) build.prop edit the following value:
net.tethering.noprovisioning=true
These two steps SHOULD get you going w/o your hotspot data being counted separately from your regular. However, as an additional safeguard (which may be overdoing it, but doesn't hurt), there's an additional link below with information to edit the database w/i the ROM.
http://pocketnow.com/2014/01/20/kitkat-broke-t-mobile-tethering
I've implemented all 3 w/ this ROM, and have been successfully able to tether my Nexus 5, laptop and a few streaming apps w/o hotspot data trigger. Unfortunately, there appear to be a few devices which trigger the data regardless (gaming systems in particular).
If anyone wants to do the legwork to see whether or not steps 1/2 work w/o step 3, or just w/ steps 2/3, feel free. As stated, I implemented all 3 just as force of habit, so I'm unsure if I did more than I really needed to in the first place.

Viper audio says it is not enabled, is there anything I can do to enable? Did I miss something?

All you need to do is tick the "enable" box for the devices you wish to use. The driver appears to be baked in correctly, as I tested it yesterday w/o any issues on my end.

Ah, that worked. I had only enabled bluetooth and wasn't connected to my headphones. I enabled speaker and it shows enabled, thanks!

any chance of seeing Navigation bar resizing options? or DPI changes?

@MicroMod777 what build.prop edits did you make to enhance wifi??

Can you add the feature where the notification and ring sounds can be set at different ranges?

Yes....a very bad idea
On the M8 the sense camera works on our GPE lollipop roms. Might be worth a try
Only thing I have noticed is the buttons on the bottom don't light up. The home and back. So far its running well
Gw thanks!!!
Anything in particular needed to flash?
Firmware
Recovery etc?
Thanks

Flash wen fine. Latest recovery and firmware.
It works for me but it takes like 5 minutes to load up anytime I reboot and if I clear cache in recovery it's no longer bootable. It stopped booting for me for just doing the SuperSU binary update. I have the latest firmware and os flags set to 5.05, not sure why it's acting like that on my end.
Will this Rom work on international gsm model? I have s-off and super cid.. Sorry for noob question. I've never been in the Sprint subforum before..
Well........looks like I'm diving in. ?

Me neither..... Not seeing any of those issues at all. In fact during testing for a ril fix I had to clear data, and or factory data reset several times. Perhaps you are not waiting long enough. Remember the first boot took forever? Anytime you clear caches it has to rebuild them..... So it will again take forever to boot up.

Same thing for me too. Won't boot up after running SuperSU update. Waited over 10 min. I don't think I have ever had to wait longer than that for cache rebuild.
Eager to see of tethering is working. Making the kids lunch then flash time!
Does this work only with cmda frequencies? Does it have GSM support?

Tentacles (hidden inside of about phone under build date)
Supersu used for root management (still needs to be flashed for now)

Install current SuperSu flashable zip (UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.45.zip - 28 Jan 2015) -sd_shadow
Updates:
Dump system and caches and flash....if you get lots of force closures, wipe data. I suggest wiping data because Lollipop is in early development.

Big thanks to @stargo for making Lollipop happen for the OMAP4 board!! Without his awesome work I wouldn't have had a decent device tree to use.

Thanks! I'm using an older 1-12 build for targa as a daily because newer builds fail due to chromium issues...I don't have issues for the other OMAP4 devices..anyway, enjoy the ROM and I'll try to update as soon as I get a chance. Just remember to either install on new slots or to wipe data for new builds. New slots may not be required, but for some reason that really helps to fix issues on targa.

To fix just go into settings and fiddle with preferred network.

Stargo has released a more official safestrap
Safestrap-maserati-v3.75.apk (31-Jan-2015 )
if you installed the debugged version likely do not need to upgrade, but if you have 3.74 or lower use Safestrap-maserati-v3.75.apk (or newer)
follow the readme.txt instructions on the download site
2-04 is now up on both my gdrive and xda, lots commits were synced so if you have issues please clean flash. I would really like some feedback because I see people downloading this.
I've been using the version based on 01/28 since...er, the 28th. The only issues noted other than CM12's usual:
Tentacles > Voice wakeup > Retrain your voice causes a Settings crash
Tentacles > SuperSU causes a Settings crash
Display > Daydreams > Light Grid > Settings causes a Settings crash
As far as general feedback goes, I was a little annoyed to find that most if not all the normal baked-in CM sounds had been replaced, rather than supplemented.

Welcome to this thread I started this project because people don't usually get what they want from a dev and support for our devices goes and comes. One thing I promise to to keep it simply for what we love and keeping what we love about our phones. That is why I introduce 2 versions. One ROM debloated like hell called Android M Edition(not actually android M), S6 edition rom with apps and features.

Steps to install and DOWNLOAD LINKS
Pre-Requisitestalkingmonkeys credit where due
Read all of these long instructions to be sure you understand anything. If it doesn't make sense then be patient and get explanations instead of screwing things up then asking for help.
Follow muniz_ri's process to get to lollipop firmware and keep root. G900A or G870A
Doing this you will get flashfire also which is needed. Thanks chainfire for another useful app. If you can't follow the instructions to install it then you shouldn't be flashing this rom.
I will also be providing SafeStrap steps for the G900A and G870A. Use Flashfire to get to lollipop though because it can do things that SafeStrap can't. The reason I still use safestrap is to have a nandroid and quickly recover from bricks or any other issues where I can't fully boot and use FlashFire.
FlashFire Method (Thanks Rakuu for writing this, I made some changes to this guide):
Open flashfire, tap the +, and then tap "Flash zip or OTA" and browse to where you saved this rom on your device and add it.
Tap the + and tap "Wipe" and check everything except internal storage (unless you want to wipe your external sdcard)
Now make sure you have the actions in the following order:
Wipe
Flash zip or OTA
Just be sure that wipe is the first thing it does. FlashFire likes to set it as last even if you select to wipe before you add the rom zip.
Check to make sure within the actions you have everything checked correctly, you can leave everroot disabled as the installer in the ROM zip does this, and also leave reboot as default.
Tap the lightning bolt and then tap OK and wait for it to do its work.
For those of you that want to have safestrap also you can easily set it up to run beside FF. In case you softbrick and need all you have to do is flash the NG3 Kernel in download mode through odin and reboot then enter SS through the splash.

What would be the best way to edit the shortcuts in the notification bar? To get rid of nfc, and add some others? Is gravity box the best?

hey @andybones, got it all running good. I cant believe they seriously removed the QS feature in system tuner. Can we possible add tiles and rearrange via default.xml, i couldnt make it work on the stock OOB rom, was wondering if it could be edited in prior to flashing?

I know, VZW must have really went out of their way, there are a lot of sku Id checks, wish I was better at smali and could take a hack at it
You can decompile and edit the tiles in system ui.apk, you'll find them in values/strings.xml
Don't think we can add any but can remove, rearrange

Yes, Gravity Box works. I have it running on my stock Verizon unit. Sense is now such a "light" layer that Gravity Box works like it does on AOSP and Sense Toolbox does not (and is not ready for Sense 8 anyway).

Installation Guide
IF YOU ARE COMING FROM ANY BUILD OTHER THAN OF3 START HERE, OTHERWISE GO TO PART 2
Guys, this step is MANDATORY!! If you don't do this step the OS will fail to install and you will SOFTBRICK
In this part we'll be flashing your OS down to G900AUCU4BOF3, pre-rooted stock, using FlashFire by Chainfire.
Prerequisites:
Download FlashFire from the Play Store
Download the G900A_OF3 pre-rooted stock ROM from here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347788226
Put said OF3 zip on your phone's external SD or internal storage.
Okay, time to flash!
Go to FlashFire, tap the "+", select "Flash Zip or OTA", find and select the OF3 zip, leave "auto-mount" unchecked.
Uncheck ALL EverRoot functions. The ROM is pre-rooted.
Set reboot setting to "Normal"
Tap the lightning bolt, tap OK
The device will flash and reboot, go to AT&T Splash for 1-2 minutes, and then completely reboot.
IF YOU ARE ON PRE-ROOTED OF3 START HERE
Prerequisites:
Install FlashFire from the Play Store
Download the ROM
Put the ROM zip in your phone's storage (Internal Storage or External SD)
Time to flash!
Go to FlashFire, tap the "+", select "Flash Zip or OTA", find and select the ROM zip, leave "auto-mount" unchecked.
Uncheck ALL EverRoot functions.
**CRUCIAL** Tap the "+" again, select "Wipe", and check every box EXCEPT "Internal Storage", then tap OK.
Arrange the "Flash Zip" and "Wipe" cards so that "Wipe" is before "Flash", FlashFire likes to put it the other way around, and if you let it do so, you've got yourself a softbrick and have to ODIN back to OI5 and start all over.
Set reboot setting to "Normal"
Tap the lightning bolt, tap OK
The device will flash and reboot, it will stick at the splash screen anywhere from 2-8 minutes (mine stuck around 4).
That's it! You're done. That wasn't too hard, was it?

Happy Holidays everyone!! Tomorrow is Christmas, so I'm taking a break lol. I'll be back working on all this and more on December 27th, first OTA update is scheduled for December 31st.
I am seeking CONTRIBUTORS to this project! Porting a ROM and then building another OS at the same time isn't easy! PM me with something you've done and I'll consider you for a contributor position!

Hi!, I installed this one, flashed it with flasfhfire and when it boots, in the part that i have to select languages, it goes black screen and then show samsung logo, then goes back to the language selection scrent, then does it again. gonna try to flas oc4 kernel and see what happens.
Hope it works, dont want to got to root this again
update:
Nope, didnt work. :/
update #2:
Tried it once more, failure, same thing happens.
Procedure is the same as always.
Hi,
I tried installing it via the instructions. Unfortunately, I get an error where it says that the System UI has stopped working and I can't type anything because the keyboard does not appear. Also, when the screen rotates, I get the System UI error.
Any recommendations?

Yeah the systemui is really buggy right now... I'm working on it but I won't have a patch for another couple days.
As for the keyboard I'm working on that too, I suspect the fact that I removed SAMSUNGIME caused the bug, you have to use data through setup and then set the default keyboard in settings after.
In the future please refer to the Bug Reports tab for fixes or status of known bugs.

Thanks for all the hard work and information. This ROM seems like a way to get a few more years out of this phone.
Dumb question because it's not made very clear but do you already have to be rooted to use this?
I actually can't even root my phone because it's stuck on 4.4.2
I installed FlashFire and all it says is that root access could not be acquired.
I have not been able to update my phone in two years.
I went to a Samsung Experience place inside a Best Buy and the guy literally emailed me the link to this post because he said that the only way he could update it was to completely "re-lock" the phone back to AT&T which would make my phone unusable since I am not an AT&T customer.
At this point I feel like I have to just buy a new phone.
I've tried to use TowelRoot before but my phone softbricked and thankfully I was able to get it back.
Any suggestions or a helping hand would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
