Any recommendation for replacement battery (internal)? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, my M7 battery life is atrocius and it exhibits all signs of dying battery (abrupt shutdown when battery shows 14 %, short battery life, overheating). I am looking for a replacement - if you have replaced internal battery, would you give me a tip for reliable source?
I know that price is no guideline - for my old HDD iPod, I bought several replacements already, they all cost same, but some were amazing, some died after a week. And given the difficulty of replacing M7 battery, I'd rather get a good one at first attempt .
So, any tips? Experiences?
For start, I found one by an aliexpress merchant that sells recommended camera replacement: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/No-p...amera-Big-Camera-Module-Flex/32285421722.html
Here's the battery: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...cement-Free-Shipping/1263085_32285595239.html
Thanks!

Like you said its a pain to replace the battery on the M7 and for this reason I would only use OEM parts and not a cheap Chinese battery. You can check the ifixit teardown for instruction how to replace the battery.

[Q] HTC One M7 compatible batteries?

Hi everyone,
I've had my HTC One (M7) for a while now and I've noticed that the battery is slowly but steadily decreasing in strength/life. I know this is normal with any type battery, it doesn't retain its full capacity forever.
Anyway, I've been thinking about swapping out its battery, only I would like to put one in that has a greater capacity than the standard M7 one (2300 mAh). I've been thinking about something along 2800 mAh or so, which is what the M9 has, if I'm not mistaken. Would the M9 battery be compatible with the M7? Also, would batteries by any other manufacturer be compatible?

Greater capacity = bigger
Its not impossible but its hard to tell without having batteries and compares their size. If the replacement battery isn't the exact same size, it won't fit in the phone. If they have the same size then try it, as long as they are the same type battery and same nominal voltage. I remember someone successfully installed a One X+ battery in a One X (300 mAh gain). I wouldn't recommend to use other manufacturer batteries, only use original HTC parts.
Have you seen what is involved in getting to the battery anyway? (Hint: It's under the motherboard)
It is doable with a standard battery but you need to get a battery and a replacement back cover at the same time because your old cover will never be the same. Also be prepared for any number of problems because these are not easy to get right.
As far as a non-stock battery goes the stock battery leaves some empty space in its cover and an M8 battery might fit, bearing in mind that the M8 is a physically bigger phone .
To be honest I'd get a new M8 and sell the M7 rather than replace the stock battery, but if you must replace it have a professional do it.

Yes its not an easy task for everyone but many members did replace the battery successfully with the help of the "i-fixit" guide. Still much cheaper than buying a M8 (400$) even if you replace the cover assy. (12$ for the battery, 15$ for a new back cover). Worth trying before buying a new phone. Local repair shops can also replace the battery for much less (around 100$ parts + labour) than what a M8 or even a M7 cost.
Hi to all
someone have been able to replace the battery with the M8 battery?

Recommendation for a Battery Replacement?

Has anyone found a good seller for a battery replacement? The one I found on Ebay sold a BM4C battery but after a couple of weeks of testing I noticed the charge wasn't what I was used to. Using battery monitoring apps I found it was only charging up to around 60% cap. Looking for a better replacement.
Same here. Took the hassle to change my battery to finally have the exact same charge.
After a bad experience with ipartsexperts (~58% capacity according to Accubattery), I got a very good one from AliExpress. A new battery 2020-04. Got 88% capacity, almost like new.

Thanks. Is it hard to replace ? Never did on a Mi Mix.
It depends if you ever opened a sealed phone before. It was my second time. It is not that hard and I used two YouTube video specifically made from the Mi Mix to guide me. A good suction cup and credit cards are your friends. Some tools came with the battery and may be sufficient, but I invested in better tools for my first time.
One tricky part is that I didn't notice that a screw was under a Mi sticker and had a hard time to remove the plate over the motherboard, but once you see it, it is easy.

How is the battery holding up for you? I got mine in December and it was working well in the beginning (3800-4100 mAh according to BattteryGuru) but now after two months it's down to <1000 mAh.

battery replacement

Hi all,
As my original battery with three years old, wasn't in good shape, so I decided to buy a new one on ebay and found this one with extra power. So Mi5 has an original 3000mah and I bought the 4800mah so I believe that I can achieve a full day and more almost half one, because with original one I always got 1 one day.
Now how can I check the true power of this new battery I used some apps, like ampere, accubattery, kernel toolkit and all assume this new battery as a 3000mah.
If new battery is in picture then you bought a 3000mA else a 4800mA battery is bigger then original 3000mA
GGelmi
Now way a 4.8 would fit
MIUI kernel fakes calculated battery capacity so it won't ever report proper values. That's why.
Anyways, buying DUPER MAXIMUM CAPACITY battery is always a fake and also you're in danger of burning your leg/house/car etc due to untrusted factory niche products.

HTC one m8 battery

Hi, has anyone purchased / replaced their battery recently and could recommend a place to buy good quality battery. I have looked on e bay and all claim to be genuine, but some feed backs complain about battery not charging or losing charge fast.
Any help is appreciated
Bro, this phone is approximately 6yrs old. Hence there might not be any good battery like the original battery you re looking for. All you can find now is a battery that can do the job of a battery and not necessarily an original battery that can hold charges for hours.
I recently changed my battery. And this was the technique I used. However, more often than not, I use the packaging of the battery to determine its level of originality.

Battery Replacement? ebay battery.

Hi guys, my battery has been used for over a year and half, started to drain very quick, the recent Android 10 update helped but still draining quicker. Today I myself installed a new battery from eBay.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REPLACEM...859434?hash=item5481cba3aa:g:uUwAAOSwYY1enbmT
I highly doubt this is original, and I understand companies do not sell original batteries in bulk to any company, I simply require a high quality battery, not fussed about brand to be honest . I asked the seller to confirm if this OEM battery has the exact same performance MAH as the original, he claimed it was original, when arrived it had the Huawei logo and looked good quality.
looked exactly like the one below.
https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-huawei honor 10 battery.html
The original was around 50grams and replacement 53grams.
I want to know if anyone else has replaced the v10 battery and how it turned out?
Thanks
" Today I myself installed a new battery from eBay."
And how it is? What is the Screen on Time(SOT)?
Can You give more details about the performance of the battery as you alr3ady have IT installed?
