OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and is packed with a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. It'll surely work on sprout8. The only downside you'll have is that you can't access internal storage. If that's not a problem for you. Go ahead

All I have is internal storage . I think I'll either get myself an sdcard or edit the fstab if that'll solve the problem.

I think it's cm based because it has cm theme engine.
So if this ROM is cm based than it can't be aosp cause it will include typical cm apps like file manager and email app as well as music app and cm actions
Looking at there G+ page they claim to be AOSP based. I would guess they could have merged the commits from CM to use there theme manager.
It's ridiculous how smooth this ROM is ! Love it <3
Only wish you could change navegation bar dimensions :c
Because its aosp based you can use xposed framework and than to like gravity box to change nav bar . I'm not quite sure if it will work if you apply custom navbar theme thou.

This rom doesn't support offline charging so never let your battery gets empty.
the first time i took a photo it said cant connect to camera then i cleared camera data then it worked fine but when using flash the camera freezes until photo is captured and you can't save them on sd card .
Also battery isnt so good (for me)

i said it is working fine ,
but first time it said cant connect to camera.
and you cant save photos on sd , only on device storage (the camera freezes while using flash on taking a picture and when the picture is taken camera becomes normal (it normal without flash)

It works almost everything just is not working the camera
Did anyone experiencing slow downs? This is still an issue in LineageOS 13+ If I remember correctly

Mine is Single Sim Variant
It's need TWRP or we can install it using CWM ... Because my bootloader is locked
Can we get some feedback on how stable it is? Considering CM13 was quite slow, would prefer to be sure that this ROM is any better or worse...?

Just installed Looks awesome really i love it but .. it's quite slow.. and camera not working plzz.. fix it's performance and camera... I installed without GApps.. u can imagine how much slow down it's performance after installing GApps.. because Google app is really very heavy
And what about Root... How to root this rom

You can get root by flashing addonsu-14.1-arm-signed.zip, from https://download.lineageos.org/extras, in recovery. But this ROM is excruciatingly slow. Besides, there's an odd bug:: screen papers you choose simply don't stick. After a while, although the selector setting shows the one you chose as applied, the ugly too whitish default one is in place.

Gave this a go tonight, but got a weird error when opening the phone app "your phone is not supported, so phone may function incorrectly" which is fine.. tested all ok, but every single time i open the phone? thats annoying!!
tested with ktle & ktledv
did full sys wipe, data and factory reset
hope it gets sorted.. looks like a good rom (then again prolly just me heh)

You sir are legendary! Good job finally getting it working! Wish I still had my s5 for this!
I gave it a try as a Viperos 7.1.2 coral 3.0 fan, but bad news... viper os 7 is so fast and 8 is half of it :\ i think it depends on most oreo roms...
cleaned and formated all what in option is, clean install..tried 2 times... after installation the menu, and app opening is very laggy...i tried to restore all apps with titanium backup, and instagram or opera webpage scrolling was terrible... after first try, formatted everything again and installed all again, but the same...
now i am back to 7.1.2 coral 3 and its lightening fast and happy...
i should say i was also not happy with linage oreo or ressuruction or aosp...what i am happy with is always stock 6.0 and viperos 7.12 coral 3.0 so i wont change it until its as fast and battery friendly as coral 3
i know you will soon upgrade it and make it perfect like coral 3 so i am happy that you are still here thank you very much for the time developing and helping us
