thats the color i want to but it looks like its not available.
I don't think US will see any other color officially.
Might end up like the s6 and release other colors like 2 or 3 months later.
Was just in the local ATT store playing with the new Note5 and placed my order - they said it should ship out in 2-3 days. Only color choices listed on the display unit were white or black. 32GB or 64 GB were the current RAM choices. No other colors, at least not yet.

That's weird. I pre-ordered it yesterday and it was delivered today. Waiting for me at home!
I wanted to pick it up first and place my S6 Active over it to see the size diff before ordering - it's just tiny bit larger than the S6A - unless you put a case on it. It should work well for me. My son is going to get the S6A. I had the Note4 for 9 months and took it back b/c it was too big, esp with the case on it. Let us know how you like it when you get home and set it up!
Guys, thinking about getting the s6+ over the Note. The gold to me looks almost silver to and was sexy as all get out! First time not having a Note every year since the first one came out.

i am also concerned that my cancelling it might set off AT&T's "glitch" where one can lose their unlimited data plan forever...

Why would you buy white to begin with? Ew. Lol. Call them and have it switched.
Why not just keep the order and when you recieve it, simply return it at a at&t store for a black one? You do have a few days to return it.

My Black Note 3 is on pre order, I have a Black/gun metal note 2 at the moment, it has never felt cheap and plasticky like most people see the white one. Plus it still looks like new 1 year later. Hoping the metal band on the Note 3 doesn't look as cheap as the S3 S4 and note 2 white.
Bah, black phones are so boring and generic. You should contact AT&T and see if they can just change your existing pre-order rather than create a new one.
it worked, cancelled my order. going to go into the AT&T store 1st week of Oct and see them each for myself before purchasing

Sucks but the metal band is plastic from what I understand. A nice metal band would've been killer.
Sorry for all caps, but don't want anyone to miss this. It is TODAY ONLY. Feb 14. Would send mine back to Amazon and buy this one, but missed return date by 6 days. Am getting one for the wife though! Stores will match deal of the day price on same colors, but can't exchange color later as price will be up tomorrow!

I believe online shipping is free. I'm getting mine for my wife at the Best Buy locally through as they will match the deal of the day price. By the way, I love the rose gold (the one I have) and am getting a lime green for the wife. I know most people like black.

I had the rose gold demo on to see how it looked... And then I ended up paying the extra 100.00 for the black. Couldn't justify the white and rose gold
Just ordered on. All that was left was green. FYI it's about $100 to change the band color after the fact.
Curious if torque and strava work with it.

I dont expect this to be really white
I bought 3 online with local pickup at the store and picked them up a little bit later.
I couldn't resist....Finally upgraded from a Galaxy S2 (Hercules) to a Nexus 5, just to pick one of these up over a Pebble. (Not too concerned over the little limitations, I'm happy with it for $150 ^_^ )

On a side note, don't believe the Best Buy website as to which are in stock. I called around and three of the four stores around me had all of the colors in stock although the website only said they had one or two, if any at all. The rose-gold is actually kind of nice looking. A fairly shiny bronze, but just a hint of red in it in certain light. I actually almost chose it over the Oatmeal -- Which, btw, is grey with just a hint of brown. Decided on it over the others because I usually wear suits and it seems to match a little better than explaining something as a "rose." =P
So I have searched the internet and this forum and somehow I can't find any answer on when the Blue galaxy s5 (or gold) will be released as well, as it seems only the black and white are available. I just got a black one but only because blue wasn't available. Does anyone know when the blue comes out? If it's within 2 weeks I'll just exchange my black one when it comes out haha.

They will more than likely make it available, along with the 32GB version at the end of the month or next month. This way those who were early adapters will not be eligible to return their phone.
I am going by what they did last year with the S4.

I would possibly consider a Blue 32GB on AT&T.

yeah, it's been up since around 11:50 EST, I want to pull the trigger but I will wait a few weeks/month to see if the green comes to the US. I was really banking on getting green, it looks amazing. Really can't settle for white when I know that emerald is an option.
I ordered the Black Sapphire for the wife. Or myself depending on my luck getting a tmobile version.

128 GB edge locked in let's hope the bootloader isn't fort Knox.
128 GB Black Sapphire here. AT&T isn't offering the Emerald Edge so that made that decision for me. Small chance I'll turn around and sell the thing for near max value and pick up one depending on how sexy it is when I see it in real life.
With that said, blue and purple are my favorite colors, and that Black Sapphire looks pretty damn sexy at an angle on that front
If you pre-order the gold version, the site says will ship by April 27th. Not sure I want to wait another month for this phone??

i already have NoteEdge and LoopPay wont available until summer. so there is really no need to hurry for me to get this phone. to me Gold or nothing. haha

As my signature says, I have a Nexus 5 which is getting a little "old" per say even though I love my Nexus -- still will keep it along with the S6 Edge. I just want a more "beastly" phone for my every day use. I waited this long, I can wait another month for the color I want. Never had a "gold" phone so this will be a first.

Just order 64GB Black Sapphire . Excited. Expected ship date 08APR15.
Preordered the gold 64gb last night at it said ship date was April 8...but this morning it now says april 24th...I am a sad panda. I have a business trip in the middle of april and I was really looking forward to taking it with me to see how it does on the road. I would switch to the white or black but I was seriously hoping for the green model in the first place and the gold was my fallback. I don't think I want to compromise again on the color so I guess I will just suck it up and wait until April 24...

Anyway, eventually made the site work and pre-ordered a 128 Edge in Black. Think historically they have sometimes sent out phones 1-2 days before the expected date, but that remains to be seen.
Excited to retire my Note Edge, it's been a blast, but squeezing that tray-sized phabbbblet into my pocket has become tiresome...

The idea is to have the phone DEFINITELY arrive on the day it is to be released in stores. In order to do that, it has to be shipped a little early.
Of course the earlier it ships, the greater the possibility of getting it before the retail store release date (of April 10th in this case).
I'm hoping I'll get mine a day early or so, but I'm pretty sure I remember reading that it'll ship by the 8th (which of course means it could ship earlier).
I've noticed on the pre order page it says "ship by the 8th" which means it can ship any day now. But a lot of you are saying you're getting a 8th expected ship date. Which means we might get it on the 10th if AT&T still using their two day shipping as standard.
Is it normal for them to apply your pre-order payment to your account as a credit or did they miss apply the amount for my order? Never pre-ordered before, just always picked up at the store.

Strange thing here is... I havn't been charged anything for my pre-order yet lol. There's a $1.00 confirmation charge on my card, but other than that, nada.
As some other people have indicated, they're definitely having issues with pre-orders.
Wonder why they're not getting green qUickly if they were checking customer interest online they would know that green is popular

It's not an iPhone, therefore, AT&T interests in customer interest is limited :laugh:
In actuality though, looks like the variant-exclusive colors aren't coming stateside at the moment.
I went to the store to reserve a note 5 because I'm doing the demand jump program and can't get it until Friday. They had an edge plus and note 5 sitting out to mess with. I told him I wish I could get the platinum gold note 5 and he said he would hold it for me. I said Huh? You only have the black and white in the note 5 and the platinum gold is the edge plus. He told me no, they got 3 colors in that morning and he saw it and he said he was getting the same color Friday as well. I asked him to let me see and he said they were locked up in the back. He was very adamant about knowing they have them and he saw them and was getting one also. Again, I said, are you sure your not talking about or thought you saw the edge plus and he said he was positive.
So... I contacted tmo chat, and they told me it was very possible because the stores can get different colors than what they offer online.
Well, wishful thinking I am sure.. but we will see... anyone else heard of this?

a few days ago, i started a TS chat via Samsung's website to yell at them about not having the Gold Platinum for the Note 5.
She told me that they were releasing "Champagne" which is just a little lighter than the Platinum...
so i only cap-locked on them about toning down a bold, beautiful Gold Platinum to a dull, bland Champagne Gold...
I hope there are a few Platinums available... Champagne is as lame as Apple's Rose Gold...
I think they are catering to the women with these subtle colors...
