any Ghostek cloak owners (might buy one) - Galaxy Note5 Accessories

Where did u order it from?
Did you get the revised frame?

I got the ghostek ghost armor hybrid case from Ebay. It came with a seperate screen protector so that will hold be until I get a Zagg one. I like it. It's slim and doesn't add bulk. And it allows for some decent protection. The only issue I have with it is I have to remove the lower bumper area of the case a little in order to charge the phone.

I have one from ebay. It looks like amazon dropped the price to about the same as ebay -at the time I bought (The Sunday after the phone released) ebay was $5 cheaper. . The screen protector has a halo, and the bumper doesn't let you charge. Wireless charging is the only option. But I still love it. I just contacted them through their website, and I'm hoping they send me replacements. I'll try to keep you updated.

The aluminum bumper frame destroyed my signal..Went from 3 bars to 1 and data up/down speeds were bareley measurable....Case looks awesome but very disappointed with performance

My case comes today. I have another case as I am suspecting the signal will degrade however I cannot find a lot of negative feedback on amazon with concerns of this issue. I guess I'm about to find out

When you look it up on Amazon, it says "(Updated Version)"
Looks pretty good. Would like to get one, but I just purchased 2 cases for mine, and one of them are pretty similar except the bumper on mine is plastic and not metal.

The Ghostek one looks slightly thinner around the borders. Some minor differences, but close.

I bought the JKase Premium Quality Samsung Galaxy Note II 2 GT-N7100 Streamline TPU Case Cover - Retail Packaging - Clear from Amazon. It was cheap and I was able to get fast 2 day shipping with Prime. (can't post a link yet since I am new)
This case and my Note 2 will be arriving tomorrow. I hope the case will be enough to hold me over until a better deal comes about on a name brand case. I'll be pairing this with a Spigen screen protector.
Im using the white and grey case mate case from at&t. The reason, I billed it to my company.

Same here. I also have the Proclips mount in my car, meaning I have to take the case off to use it. The Body Glove case comes off and goes back on very easily.
Also bought the body glove one from sprint. Was worried about cases and adding bulk but this seems to be minimal and my phone doesn't feel like it's going to slip out of my hand every time I hold it.

I went to several Sprint locations, and none of them had the body glove case. I was also hoping to get something with a belt clip.
The only case I found locally in stock for my Note 2 was at the AT&T store and it was a white/grey CaseMate with a built in kickstand I think it cost $38 and did not come with a screen protector. Wish Otterbox made a Commuter style with built in kickstand for the Note 2.
Case
I bought the Ringke SLIM Soft Feeling Premium Hard Case. It's slim. adds very little bulk while protecting at the same time and got it off of amazon for 10.99 on sale from 25.00. I added the Spigen SGP Ultra Oloephobic screen protector and it's totally protected. I love them both.......
Have this:

Goes really well with the Titanium Gray Note 2.
$5 Ionic Position folio-style case off of Amazon. Offers good protection, looks good, and doesn't have a magnetic closure (huge!).
I just purchased a Seidio Active-like case off of Amazon to use until the Seidio Active combo either comes down in price or shows up at Best Buy for 2/3rds of what it costs now.
I also just returned an Amzer Shellster because it was a piece of crap that broke three days in. Spending $6 to return an item that I'll get $14 back for, after spending $5 initially to have it shipped. Really thrilled about Amzer's customer service policies.

does anybody know where can i find an all clear tpu casing? been searching online for one, but to no avail
LOL we need to know your definition of cheap, but as adrenalinemotion said, go with diztronic. It's not expensive, I'd say not very cheap either, but it is close to being cheap. The quality is top notch I promise. I never go with TPU case as their nature of loose edges allowing dusts and the like get inside between the case and the phone, but with diztronic I'm loving it. For color-wise, they only have clear, black and glitter white/clear but I think they will have more coming soon.
I got myself the Mercury jelly case. I think it's fairly decent for its price. Personally it's just something to tide me over until I get a better case (probably the UAG one).

The "sparkly" design (shiny little dots all over the case) makes it look classier than your average plain TPU case. Overall I'm very satisfied with the material , cut-outs and I think the phone fits snugly into it (perfect fit imo). My only gripes are
1. the exposed top right corner (I know its for the antennas for the Korean models but still...)
2. the volume rocker cut-out (I can press it without any problems but it just doesn't feel nice to me.)
3. Edges are raised too little to offer much protection to the screen.

Sweet Armor GNote Bumper & Mugen Extended Battery

First Im sorry if this has been asked before but anyone tried sweet armor yet? If so, will it work with the Mugen Extended Battery? Thanks =)
http://www.thesweetarmor.com/en/13-sweet-armor-gnote-2
looks awesome but expensive for just a bumper.
It looks nice- though definitely a little pricey. Also looks a little bulky in the back? Maybe it's the images.
Coming from (SGS3 Galaxy S3) - new Note 2 owner
I've tried similar bumper for SGS3 - there is issues of the thing being heavy and adding to the weight of the device.
If the bumper makers had sense - they'd focus on the fit and adding protection - not adding looks/ metal and finish.
Now with extended batteries - the bumpers are a tough fit. Of the several I tried for the SGS3 only one fit.
If anyone knows better please post.
I have the Sweet Armor but no extended battery.

Looks good...but aluminum will dent if dropped so drop the phone your phone might be protected but you need to get a new case
Looks great, too expensive though.
Wow 70$. But i don't need an extra Note 2, I just want the bumper
Ihave a cheap metal bumper with my extended battery. You shouldnt have to worry about denting it but it will reduce signal and gps performance. Im going to mod it and see if I can remedy the issue. The one I bought was only 10 $ but doesnt screw together. I think the screw together versions are better. You should be able to find a cheap Chinese knock off sweet armor on ebay soon enough.
I had a sweet armor bumper and the mugen extended for the GNote 1 and they both fit perfectly, hence i asked =) It is indeed a little pricey so it will depend on personal preference, i guess. I have tried cheaper bumpers for the note 1 and none of them look as good as the sweet armor. Of course i understand some would prefer cheaper bumpers but this one has awesome look and finish. The sweet armor on my Note 1 still look as good today as it was on day 1 when i got it. Admitedly, I haven't dropped my Note 1 (thank god) so i cant say too much about the durability though. Not sure about the cheaper bumpers (i havent used them long enough) but definitely no dents/scratches from everyday wear and tear for this one though.
The only problem i had with the Note1 sweet armor though is that i lost a screw once and i had to replace it (it came with 5 extra screws btw) but that was my own negligence (prob a loose screw), never lost another screw after the first one til today =) the fit was awesome for my Note1, never had a reception problem (or not bad enough for me to notice at least). The extra weight wasnt a problem for me (I use a Note1 with the extended battery remember) but i'd think it wont add too much weight to a standard GNote. Just removed the bumper from my note1, and saw no scratch (from the bumper) on the sides of the phone.
PS: I went ahead and ordered one today and already got my shipping confirmation few hours later. I will try to update here with pics when it arrives. If it doesnt fit my mugen extended then i guess i will use it when im using the standard battery (I usually switch extended/standard battery depending on my need at the time). It will take a while cause i was being cheap and chose the cheaper shipping option.
Okay just got my bumper in the mail today. Fits perfect even with the mugen extended. Quality is awesome. Only complain I have is the side buttons feel a little loose, no biggie. And of course a lil too pricey. Comes with 3 extra buttons and five screws, loving it. It looks awesome =)

I would love to buy several if they are of the same quality. Could you provide a link where these are available for $10 please?
UPDATE: Saw the other thread you participated in about aluminum bumpers and I see what bumpers you're referring to. While they look nice, you get what you pay for. I tried one of those and the quality is MUCH lower than the Sweet Armor. It is lighter, thinner, and scratches the GN2 easily. I believe in paying for quality if it can be had and the SA is worth it IMO.
No offense to those who bought the $10 eBay bumpers though.

I had the SA on my SII, it was sweet but pricey. After I sold my SII to get the Note, I gave the $10 bumper a go for a cheaper bumper look. Unfortunately, it messed up my Note. Plastic started chipping off between the screen and bezel.
Cons: Flimsy built, one time it slipped about half a feet high (in account with the weight of phone). The frame wasn't in the best of shape anymore. Unsatisfying premium look, actually made my phone look cheap. Tight slider, which cause plastic area to chip off over time and possible scratches to screen protector or phone if your not careful.
Pros: Cheap, easily replaceable. (provided not parts/accessory of your phone that needs replacement caused by the bumper)
Imho, you get what you paid for and I paid more. But kudos to those who had no problem with their bumpers. On my Note II, It's just sad case if I had to go thru it again, that's why I'm going back to SA
I had one of my Galaxy S1. Well made piece of kit but I ultimately didnt like the feel in the hand and was dubious about the shock protection (on that version there were only a few little thin foam strips inside the bezel.

I was able to get the case on with my DL and a CC in there. It doesnt fit very well, it creates a gap at the bottom and where the case meets the buttons on the back. Putting just 1 card in the case, you cant even tell its there. Keep in mind I have a AZ DL which is very thick compared to say a CA DL.

It's a decent case. I'm not a big fan of tpu style cases but this one is nice. I think it's a bargain at $7.

If someone could ship this cheaper, we Europeans would appreciate since it looks great
But yeah, 20$ shipping (like, what the hell) basically cans the deal.

I've used a diztronic back in the gs3 days and they seem close. Diztronic is a shady company though so I'd never support them again.
If wondering what I mean, search xda in gs3 forums for Diztronic.

I'm also not a fan of the "lip" on the front and back of the diztronic case for this phone. Seems like it would trap lint like crazy.

I think the case looks great on the M8, but who cares what I think, have a look for yourself!
All the proper cutouts are there, as far as I can tell. Only the power button has an actual cutout, the volume button is covered but still gives nice feedback.
I've had previous experiences where the clear back material gets scratched up easily, I will update this post accordingly once I rock the case for a few days.
I bought the same case, hoping I'll have it by Monday or Tuesday.

I purchased mine on announcment day and received it earlier than expected!
Mine showed up yesterday, and I really like it. It doesn't add a lot of bulk and you can still see the gun metal gray through the back. I do foresee the need to polish the clear plastic every so often to keep it looking nice tho.
I just received mine yesterday. Probably the best case I have owned for my one. Going to bestbuy later to return the speck candy shell I bought.
I got this case to hold me over until the dot case arrived because it was so cheap. I am actually very happy with it. For $5 you cannot beat this. Decent drop protection and looks nice.

Better than I expected.
Light scratches on the back of the case. Every thing else is solid.
I really like this case. The black border looks great. The only issue I have with it is the bottom of the case with the bigger cut out for the power and headphone jack, the plastic is not strong enough there and the plastic sticks away slightly. The black border adds a good amount of extra grip. For the price I might just get another as backup.

Hard clear plastic will scratch and look and feel worst overtime, I suggest putting a wet install back protector.

Looks great! I got a case that looks very similar, I bet it's a identical generic version, for a couple of bucks cheaper than the SUPCASE. I'll post some pictures later to give a comparison.

I received mine in the mail today. Little slippery, but grips enough for me (I'm not much of a dropper.) The cut out for the microphone on the back is a little off, but not enough to cover the microphone at all. Finally, the cut out for the headphone jack and the USB port is kind of sharp around the edges, I might consider filing those down.
Overall, it's not bad for $10!
I ordered one of these as well. I wound up ordering three cases from Amazon on Friday night. Delivery estimate is between 4/18 - 5/5!
Can anyone share a picture of the back to see the branding? Is it very intrusive?

Mine actually came without any branding at all. I ordered from the same Amazon link as in the original post.
