Questions on Note 5 - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm planning to buy a Note 5. I would really appreciate if I could get answers on my doubts :
1) Are there any technical issues in dual sim version compared to the single sim version?
2) Are both versions having the same specs apart from dual sim option?
3) Which is the best version (international) to buy among the two?
4) Is it true that dual sim version could cause potential health risks in the long run due to double reception power?
5) Is there going to be a version two or second production of current existing models with upgraded firmware and tweaks or rectifications?
6) Compared to other mobiles with 4GB Ram, how is the performance of Note 5?
Awaiting reply,
Thanks.

Buying Note 5 N9208

Hi I'm considering buying Note 5 N9208 version and was wondering if that's good for UK networks particular EE.
4g is essential so needs to be compatible.
Is ther much rom support for this variant too?
I'm also considering whether I should wait for note 7 or it isn't really much f an upgrade. I'm not to fussed about sd card nor water proof features.
What does interest me is the smoothness and speed. Camera is important but I've heard here's not much init.
Any good impartial advise would be useful to help me make up my mind.

Note 8 Question - Snap or Exynos?

Hi there,
This might be done to death but here goes - i currently have a single sim Three (unlocked) that has the exynos chipset, since i go over to the states alot, i want to get myself a dual sim Note 8 so i can use an American number with my UK number without having to annoyingly keep switching over or have 2 different phones.
Obviously dual sim means no microSD, so far i only seen Eqynos variant 64gb but elsewhere seen a Snapdragon variant 128gb which is tons more useful, in real life usage (especially coming from a S7 Edge) will i see much of a difference? Has Snapdragon caught up nowdays?
Also how easy isit without tripping anything that will disable Samsung/Android Pay to flash Carrier (Three) onto my unbranded Note 8? Mainly if i get rid of Three Note 8 phone, i lose access to 4G Super Voice which kinda sucks.
Thanks for the help
Obviously dual sim means no microSD,
Not obviously, you can DIY your SD card, just combine your SIM and SD to one, please do search, it's working well.
Thanks.
I was in the same dilema as uk samsung only sell the 64gb dual sim. Went and bought the 256gb sn9500.... no problems at all. Even using samsung pay without issue.
It is dumb that they won't allow more Ryan 64gb for uk market.
Also using the dual sim and sd card.... is probably a bit risky as the sim tray is so flimsy.
I used dual sim and sd on my axon 7 without issue... but the note 8 i think will be a bit risky.

[QUESTION] Regarding updates on dual-sim version

I am about to receive a dual sim version of Note 9, and I'm not a big fan of dual-sim phones, due to issues I had with them in past like higher battery drain(compared to single sim) and slower software updates. Does anyone know if there is any impact on updates for Note 9 DS?
No impact, they're pretty much all dual sim afaik.

Not sure where you got it's got (higher battery drain) Note 9 battery is awesome! And haven't felt updates being slower every other month there's a update for it. it’s an beast of a phone you won’t be disappointed!

Anyone know where I can get the dual SIM plus dedicated microSD slot version?

Basically, that's my question. Other posts talk about the hybrid version but I need the one where I can use two SIMs and the microSD at the same time. I know it exists, according to LG and GSMarena, but I can't find it to buy. It looks like the Australian version MAY be dual SIM plus dedicated microSD, although I haven't had that confirmed, but so far I haven't been able to find an Australian shop that ships to the US.
Anyone know where I can get one? Ebay hasn't been any help either.
There isn't one. The AU/NZ version is hybrid dual SIM too.
Global Dual SIM versions are all LM-V405EBW.
Thanks. OK, I'm going to have to give up on the V40. If I really want the dual SIM plus microSD, I'm going to have to look closely at the new Asus Zenfone 6. Only LCD and no wifi but life is full of having to make difficult choices.

Question Is it worth getting snapdragon?

Hello guys,
I am planning to buy S21 Ultra, after reading some older reviews and watching some videos I was wondering if I should get snapdragon (according to some reviews a better one) version or exynos? I am based in Europe.
Is there still big difference (or any) in performance, camera and battery?
Also, will there be any problems using snapdragon version in EU?

Hi
There are not such a big difference in performance ( that you can really notice in your daily use) to say one is better than the other
You can root both but exynos is "easier", if you live in europe the exynos may be a better option , there is no european firmware for the SD , even though both firmware should work fine , the snapdragon firmware may be a little more limited as 4G and 5G bands are not all the same and maybe an specific carrier service may not be available due to the CSC
Depending on how you source it (a different country, across oceans, etc), warranty might be hard to take advantage of (you might have to get it repaired in the country of origin).

That depends on what you want your device to manage. If Call Features and 5G are priorities then aquire your Service Provider's device.
If you're going to run a stock Android go with the Snapdragon.
