Hi Everyone,
After checking lots of days and searching all forums I wanted to share with all world about Cyanogenmod 5.1.1 for Lenovo A3300-hv. (a.k.a. A7 )
What is working :
-Wifi
-Bluetooth
-Gps
-Phone (Audio Calls)
And whole other functions.
What is NOT working :
- Camera.
Actually I tried to copy libs from original rom dump and settings from system folder but I couldnt manage. If someone has some ideas or possible fix please tell me. Also tried for 3rd party applications but still no chance to work.
Lets Continue to guide.
Before you continue make sure you have backup and root !
1. Install flashify.
Download Flashify : http://www.mediafire.com/download/w1i87ls2ell7c1f/Flashify.apk
* If you face any issues please use Rashr.apk
2. Download TWRP Recovery and put it to tablet (either phone storage or sdcard)
Download TWRP Recovery : http://www.mediafire.com/download/1v3ejw7jcw4ivcm/recovery.img
2.1. After downloading TWRP please flash it from Flashify.
* Open Flashify app
* Choose Recovery Image from flash tab.
* Choose recovery.img that you downloaded and put on tablet.
3. Download rom and gapps.

Gapps Minimal : http://www.mediafire.com/download/nb1rt48rqrz8m16/gapps.zip
After downloading both files please put them to sdcard or internal storage.
Now reboot to recovery.
1st option : Power off tablet. Press and hold VOLUME UP + POWER till you see TWRP screen.
2nd option : Open flashify and choose reboot to recovery.
4. Please backup your current rom.
5. Now Wipe Data & Cache make a factory reset. It can take more less 2 minutes just keep calm and imagine cool places from your hometown.
6. Now install rom and gapps as standart old school method.
7. Reboot system VOILA ! Enjoy the Cyanogen Mod 5.1.1 rom in your Lenovo A3300-HV (A7).

This ROM targets the newer version of the tablet. Not the A3000. Their hardware is very different.
I attached screenshots.

Will this ROM work for the A3300-GV, too?
Is the chip the same?
GV is the 2G Version, HV is the 3G Version, I think.
I've tried it on my A3300-H. The camera doesn't work as the developer stated. There are some minor bugs too, but still it's a very nice ROM.

The camera is not working so far and this tablet has a MTK chipset, correct?
This sounds familiar.
The CyanogenMod Rom for the Fire 5th Generation had also the camera problem before but now it is fixed.
And: The Fire has also a MTK chipset. Maybe its code will help us here!?

Flash azam426 rom by latest SPFlashtool & u'll be okay.
U will find a tutorial video to change or add or reset your imel in youtube I have just made it because I faced some issue after flashing

Hello Sir thanks for the ROM. This ROM worked well. Camera is not working as u mention in the post. Other bug is sd card not working properly. Can u update this rom. pls

Great! Only complaint is camera, and the multi touch has reduced from 5 to 2, hopefully that will be fixed :/

Well technically umts(3g) is not fully working in gv but it has! Dial it in your tab #*#*4636*#*# then tab info. Look for gsm(auto prl). Well gsm(auto prl) prioritized more of edge than 3g but its 3g.

i decided to release this alpha 2 although camera still partially work. for this time being, u can use hdr camera plus (included) to shoot, although the screen is black u can still capture photo.
what working great in this version:
- call & messaging
- data (2g, 3g, 3.5g)
- wifi
- bluetooth
- flashlight led (similar with torch in miui but it has dual torch, one using camera, one using front led screen - to make this work i hijack ledlights.mx.so frm meizu mx rom & change it to ledlights.fb0.so)
this rom come with low sound by default but its not a bug, to change it u need to go to sound setting & increase it. for call volume u need to set it with x5 setting app included in this rom, maximum call volume is 200, but just make it around 170-180. x5 setting also allow u to overclock yr cpu & choose yr governor.
steps for rom installation:
1. do a full wipe

I managed to port this rom to our device & proud to say this is the very 1st time i successfully ported rom frm huawei ideos x5 u8800 WITH RADIO SIGNAL! yes... ril is functioning, this is y i put the dev stage as alpha. Bluetooth also working, i'll fix wifi later.

p/s 2: now i get a problem with my phone, my power button is jammed. if u guys think i need spare hp for my porting works pls donate, bcoz i dont want to port miui & cm roms, i want to bring something different! somemore, we already hv numbers of miui & cm devs here

my power button jammed... anyway to fix it? luckily i still can go to cwm by pressing volume+ & volume-. i try to change all framework & app files with dianxin os for moto defy files, but still no signal, with this changes, transition look smoother.
ohhh... that baseband switcher FC, cannot use

You should probably ask pershoot if you can upload this. Although everything is a public git & open-source its just a little courtesy since we know pershoot has been working on this a while.

The brick big relies on a bit of code in the kernel. I'm not sure about toldos Rom but if you flash either the yoda kernel or a1 kernel on your Rom first you'll be fine because they've removed the bug in the kernel. It also helps to be on twrp or the recovery posted in the op.

Maybe some more Infos would be nice. No Link to Gapps, or which recommend. And 3G not working. If i try to edit it manuell in settings, i got a fc. And Homebutton still not working.
Good to see a new ROM for our great (and usually forgotten) P7500 !! :laugh:
... and AOSP (for those who don't know, it's the pure android, not customized by Samsung and not customized by CyanogenMod).

Just edit the first 2 line of the update script from p4 to p4wifi & your done!

Here are my first impressions.
1 to get the keyboard to work tap somewhere the keyboard would turn up then tap the little keyboard icon in the status bar and uncheck
ue physical keyboard.
2 the home button isn't working.
3 sometimes there is a down arrow instead if a back one
4 everything works great although there is a little signal icon who cares!
All round great job I would prefer a more aosp look. Ie no touvhwoz icons in the settings menu!
As for the guy that wanted screenshots, its AOSP!

After a quick gapps flash and reboot bugs 2 and 3 are gone! That just leaves the TW icons then

4. Restart the phone.
5. Put New_S5_STE_Rom_Rev.5.3.1 in your external memory and flash (Without wiping)

either use this rom or the rom by kokobenjamin.......and try to use stock kernel...which was included in the rom

I can vouch for @kokobenjamin's ROM, its one of smoothest modded ROM at present used by me. I have tried Adityapal's but Koko's one is smoother. I have been using it for not less than a week. Now he is releasing version 3.0, lets rock KOKO:good:

Watch Youtube in 2k (some build.prop tweaks)
Device Certified (Pass Safetynet)
Bugs
Big bug is Recent & Back button does not work. ( Home and Fingerprint work like champion). You can use visual button or assistant menu for back and recent button. I use gestures.
Prerequired
- Unlocked bootloader
- Latest CP/Modem A9100ZCU1AQH1. You can download and flash over ODIN (link download included). Or you can install latest official A9100ZCU1AQH1 rom.
- TWRP installed
- A working brain
Installation
1. Download this ROM
2. Copy to the internal (or sdcard) storage
3. Boot to TWRP
4. Wipe dalvik cache, system, data, cache (If cannot mount data let's format data and reboot to TWRP again)
5. Install my ROM
6. Wipe dalvik cache.
7. Reboot
8. Njoy!
PS: First boot may take a long time to boot (5-7 minutes) So please patient don't interrupt it.
Root
-Just flash latest Magisk. and Busybox if needed

Do you know what are the differences between this ROM an Elite Stock ROM for A910F https://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/development/rom-a9pro-elite-stock-t3674513 ?
Elite ROM is for the A910F, it works on the A9100 but the back and recent buttons are not operational (as in this ROM).

Hi, As you can see. I build this Rom from latest nougat 7.0 code XXV. Elite is build from code INS. Elite is prerooted. My build is pass Safetynet and certified in google play .Other i think same

Do I need to flash "no verity no encrypt" zip after flashing Magisk/SuperSU or not

Using samsung internet browser you can not activate secret mode.
I cannot use fingerprint into apps (banking apps)
I think the problem is the "device state = Custom" due de custom recovery.

I have only a issue with fingerprint.
Fingerprint works OK to unlock the smartphone, but I can't use fingerprint to login into apps.
Do you kwon this issue? Does it work OK for you?

If you want to use FP to login website or apps you need install Samsung Pass. But Samsung pass do not work with custom recover or rooted phone. My FP work OK with bank apps with out Samsung Pass because my apps support FP

Follow install steps. I think you cannot mount data.
[ROM][7.0][J530F] Very Simple
For J530F Only
Features:
Very Fast And Smooth ( 30 Seconds to Start Up )
No Change System Files .. Just Delete The basic App ( i Add New Surprise )
No More System Apps ( Facebook & Microsoft & Google ... )

thx i am going to try this, will report back with my experience.
So i just installed it, fully rooted with Refined Kernel V2.5 and have been playing around with it, testing for bugs and such and i must say this is a fantastic ROM. Pretty much completely debloated, VERY fast! And by the looks of it bug-free and stable AF. Battery life also seems good, tho i must test for a weekish to get a feel for it. Will update on that later.
Thank you for making this, you have made my life easier with this ROM as this is exactly what I'm looking for in a phone, no unnecessary bull****, just a clean and fast stable phone that i can customize to my likings.
If you are looking for a clean fast ROM, look no further you just found it.

No problem with me ... try enable ‘USB debugging’ option from setting>developer option
or change USB Port in your PC
camera cant focus for near oject

I think it's possibile. The older j5 have it. But at the moment no lineage developers interersted to j5 2017. It's a shame, i love lneage

Yeah i would love to use lineage os on that device and modify the build with my own stuff.
Maybe there is someone in the community who knows how to make it work and have some free time to build it
