Introduction
I wait long time for official nougat ROM so I made this for my own. I share it for who need it.
Features
Based on A910FXXU1BQL3 - Galaxy A9 ⑥ SM-A910F XXV Vietnam (Android 7.0 2017-12-26, August Security Patch)
GApps integrated (original)
Odexed
Deknoxed
Debloated
Stable & Smooth
Battery Huge
Setup Phone like a international phone
Removed all non-useful Microsoft, Google, Samsung
Updated all system apps
Watch Youtube in 2k (some build.prop tweaks)
Device Certified (Pass Safetynet)
Bugs
Big bug is Recent & Back button does not work. ( Home and Fingerprint work like champion). You can use visual button or assistant menu for back and recent button. I use gestures.
Prerequired
- Unlocked bootloader
- Latest CP/Modem A9100ZCU1AQH1. You can download and flash over ODIN (link download included). Or you can install latest official A9100ZCU1AQH1 rom.
- TWRP installed
- A working brain
Installation
1. Download this ROM
2. Copy to the internal (or sdcard) storage
3. Boot to TWRP
4. Wipe dalvik cache, system, data, cache (If cannot mount data let's format data and reboot to TWRP again)
5. Install my ROM
6. Wipe dalvik cache.
7. Reboot
8. Njoy!
PS: First boot may take a long time to boot (5-7 minutes) So please patient don't interrupt it.

Do you know what are the differences between this ROM an Elite Stock ROM for A910F https://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/development/rom-a9pro-elite-stock-t3674513 ?
Elite ROM is for the A910F, it works on the A9100 but the back and recent buttons are not operational (as in this ROM).

there is a manner to edit camera app to get 4k video recording?
Using samsung internet browser you can not activate secret mode.
I cannot use fingerprint into apps (banking apps)
I think the problem is the "device state = Custom" due de custom recovery.

I have only a issue with fingerprint.
Fingerprint works OK to unlock the smartphone, but I can't use fingerprint to login into apps.
Do you kwon this issue? Does it work OK for you?

If you want to use FP to login website or apps you need install Samsung Pass. But Samsung pass do not work with custom recover or rooted phone. My FP work OK with bank apps with out Samsung Pass because my apps support FP

Yes you need full wipe. Im not sure if it work from lollipop but i think it work.

Thia rom is basic for stable test. Im working in systemui,secsetting, and reboot menu now.
Looks nice. Would I be right in thinking, that apart from the Samsung apps listed, all the other bloartware has been removed?

A300H is not updated to Marshmallow, and i dont have device to test s7/n7 apps
Nice ROM. It works on A300FU/A300Y, coming from lollipop with RR custom rom without downloading OTA or stock firmware from samimobile, I restored back to stock boot + kernel before flashing the latest recovery by ashyx (3.0.2) then wipe cache, data, system and flash [GS]Mod.zip file through TWRP recovery. WiFi isn't working but mobile data is. I'm also from Australia n we haven't had any updates in weeks.

Some people have WiFi issue when come from 5 .0.2 to 6.0.1. So try to first install Stock rom marshmallow with odin( and test WiFi if work). 2) install TWRP. 3) Flash my rom. (Sorry for my poor english)

Try flashing the latest Modem/Bootloader for A3Y.
PS, are you flashing A3FU stuff on your A3Y?

thx i am going to try this, will report back with my experience.
So i just installed it, fully rooted with Refined Kernel V2.5 and have been playing around with it, testing for bugs and such and i must say this is a fantastic ROM. Pretty much completely debloated, VERY fast! And by the looks of it bug-free and stable AF. Battery life also seems good, tho i must test for a weekish to get a feel for it. Will update on that later.
Thank you for making this, you have made my life easier with this ROM as this is exactly what I'm looking for in a phone, no unnecessary bull****, just a clean and fast stable phone that i can customize to my likings.
If you are looking for a clean fast ROM, look no further you just found it.

No problem with me ... try enable ‘USB debugging’ option from setting>developer option
or change USB Port in your PC

I think it's possibile. The older j5 have it. But at the moment no lineage developers interersted to j5 2017. It's a shame, i love lneage

Yeah i would love to use lineage os on that device and modify the build with my own stuff.
Maybe there is someone in the community who knows how to make it work and have some free time to build it

This is just a flashable zip of stock 8.1 ROM.
A lot of thanks to @ananjaser1211 for all help and his kernel, and @Dyeide for fixing updater script.
ROM is tested on J530F and J530G, I don't know does it work on other models, test and tell.
Supoorts J730 too, but I didn't test it so if someone can, please do.
Modifications from stock fw are:
- HeliosPro kernel that support OC and tons of other features
- Added two apps that control kernel (OxygenControl is for GPU, and EliteTuner is for everything else)
- Prerooted with latest Magisk 17.1 and added Busybox
- Googles FaceLock is preinstalled because we don't have Samsung one.
- Hevily debloated
From January patch changelog is as follows:
- Kernel updated to latest Helios 2.6 (now with 2A charging)
- Magisk updated to latest Canary version
- Sound mod with Dolby Atmos for headphones and speaker
- Network traffic monitor for statusbar
- Native call recording
- Native screen recorder
- No sound when making screenshot
- An option to disable camera shutter sound
- Samsung Pie emojis
- Update for all Samsung apps (Themes and Galaxy apps are OneUI)
- Fixed little bugs from previous versions.

Hi, can you check if in settings > cloud and accounts > restore and copy and then in backup account is setted a google backup account or it shows the message "no account is storing data with backup at this time".

yes and camera is more good...wish to have stock camera fllashable to install on costum roms...ram is 1 gb free now with this stock at a8 is 560-300mb. :good::good:
and i forget to thank you cause with updates i cant recieve 8.1 and when i try to install via odin say fail and nothing more,thanks man.

For those who weren't able to install or obtain the A2017G-O-B04 OTA update, I made a SL!M8 rom (not an AROMA because atm I don't have much time ) that can boot on a working stock Oreo rom.
This version is tested on stock B02 as on my SL!M7 (based on B03). So there should be no problem at all

Installation : NOTE : for those having trouble installing, flash the twrp 3.2.10 with the universal bootstack (don't forget the modem)
1. unlocked, twrp3218 (non-treble) installed (or compatible one for oreo...)
1.a boot into twrp, format data/factory reset, reboot twrp, wipe system
2. flash A2017GV1.3.0B04_BootStack ( flash your modem type again as this has the latest G-version one )
3. flash A2017X_O_B04_SL!M8
4. flash Magisk 19.3
5. wipe dalvik/cache and boot
6. setup phone
7. you should now have a fully working SL!M8 :cyclops:

I'm currently running the chinese B23 with TWRP, is it possible to flash this over? Or should I flash other rom first?
Also, a bit offtopic suggestion: You should update your camera2api enabler ZIP, because it somehow changes the build name to A2017GV1.3.0B02 on other roms (this happened to me on european B03 and chinese B23 and should also happen on this new B04)

You can try since it is a stock Oreo rom. So follow instructions furtheron.

Thanks so much @raystef66 ! A lot of us have been waiting for this! Hopefully I have better luck flashing this, as B03 Sl!m was giving me encryption issues upon rebooting after flashing.

Yes, that's the one. I can live with it as long it doesn't affect the ROM usage (I don't think it does though) but it's up to you.
About the new SL!M8, I'll see if I can flash it tomorrow and give feedback

Q: i installed b03 and cant find double tap to wake anymore. Is the Feature gone since Oreo? I wonder if the bugs im having will be gone with this update (gboard constantly crashes when opening settings so i cant change/add languages, SMS bug / can send but not receive, Turn off screen is not installed even tho i choose it in aroma Installer)
Hi, raystef66. Thank you so much for your contribution! I stayed on "ancient" slim B10 (Nougat) until now for Daydream support. Now I upgraded and it works fantastic.

You can flash it when on SLIM7 - I tested it myself.
So backup your stuff, factory reset, reboot twrp, wipe system, flash B04 bootstack, SL!M8 and magisk19.3
You can try a dirty flash but that's up to you to test. I always prefer clean

I also prefer a Clean flash, so i wait until i'm home after Work and then i let the magic begin.
if any other try the diety flash over his b03 slim7 then please let me/us know, if it's work.

I had a complete crash on b03 this morning. Phone shut down out of nowhere and wouldn't boot anymore. I then saw this as an opportunity to test b04. So far most bugs (Gboard crashing, sms bug) are gone. I just can't find the D2W setting. Where is it?

Now i'm getting this (see 1st attachment),

Dirty flash over my Pie DevBase ROM SHOULD WORK WITHOUT ISSUES but before you try - I would highly recommend you to set default (stock) theme and default (stock) icons !!! However - I would recommend you clean install (Wipe -> Swipe to Factory Reset is enough)
NOTE1: This time it is mandatory to update also bootloader to Q - otherwise ROM will not boot

Do you want to provide dump (e.g. for G960F or a newer version for G965F)?
Please do as follow:
- Make sure OEM unlock is ON
- Flash TWRP but don't let device boot to system after that - use power+bixby+vol_up combo immediately after phone rebooted automatically
- Tap "Keep read only"
- Wipe -> Format data -> "yes"
- Reboot -> Recovery
- Copy attached zip to the device
- Flash it and wait a few minutes
- Copy /sdcard/G960F_dump directory to the PC and compresss it (zip / 7z / rar / etc..)
- Share me and wait for a new Q build
NOTE: DO NOT use Magisk or other boot patchers before you run my zip - I need PURE clean kernel and other images !!! After you run my zip and copy result to PC - you can do what you want

First ROM, then BL (one by one). This order is recommended because BL update forces auto reboot

I just found a major CSC issue in the installer (RC1) while updating device from Pie -> Q, please wait for updated version (RC2) !!! (RC1 worked fine only if your previous ROM was based on Q)
EDIT: Update will be available in less than one hour

CSC just remain from Pie and CscFeatures does not work - you can dirty install RC2 to fix it

I did it myself already (I called it beta 5), but next time I will be glad for help/dump as it is my wife's device - next time she most probably will not give me device for so long :laugh:
