Yes you need full wipe. Im not sure if it work from lollipop but i think it work.

Thia rom is basic for stable test. Im working in systemui,secsetting, and reboot menu now.
Looks nice. Would I be right in thinking, that apart from the Samsung apps listed, all the other bloartware has been removed?

A300H is not updated to Marshmallow, and i dont have device to test s7/n7 apps
Nice ROM. It works on A300FU/A300Y, coming from lollipop with RR custom rom without downloading OTA or stock firmware from samimobile, I restored back to stock boot + kernel before flashing the latest recovery by ashyx (3.0.2) then wipe cache, data, system and flash [GS]Mod.zip file through TWRP recovery. WiFi isn't working but mobile data is. I'm also from Australia n we haven't had any updates in weeks.

Some people have WiFi issue when come from 5 .0.2 to 6.0.1. So try to first install Stock rom marshmallow with odin( and test WiFi if work). 2) install TWRP. 3) Flash my rom. (Sorry for my poor english)

Try flashing the latest Modem/Bootloader for A3Y.
PS, are you flashing A3FU stuff on your A3Y?

Note:
I haven't tested it out yet! Feel free to try it out!
This is my first ROM port. Please don't blame me if something goes wrong!
Prerequisites:
1.TWRP or ClockworkMod Recovery
2. Slim ROM
3. SD Card
(I'm trying to port to A500FU and other A devices as well. Help wanted!)

I've ported Slim ROM using a Cyanogenmod for each model as the base ROM. I can't seem to find cyanogenmod for the A500H though....

I don't know much about ROM devlopment.... And this is my first ROM, so its bound to have bugs.... I need a help!

If this is your first ROM, I'd suggest studying the build system of Android. SlimROM is not MIUI, we have source code available, so building it should be relatively easy
Also, please do point out your sources in the first post! It's against XDA's rules to not to have kernel sources available.
Can you make one for a500h? I can test it

THE google keyboard not working and package installer also not working, The messaging threads cannot be read please resolve these issues and further more gapps alos not working...i flash gapps for cm 12.1 and they dont seem to work get Google play services has stopped error. It also has an issue of no sim card detection
please fix these and l will keep this as my permanent rom:fingers-crossed:

flash TWRP V10 in your actual TWRP. (twrp v10 is a flashable zip via your actual twrp or cwm, not odin)

Opti, thanks for making a good ROM with minimal stuffs. Just a Q. The apps in the market are getting changed and the system structures too are getting upgraded daily. The ROM is CM11 based, no doubt the best ever. However my Q is that, is the ROM functional enough to keep up with the high end apps? Cause some apps can show not compatible. I can change the build details to let play store understand that my device is say S4 or higher. However, will that actually make the apps compatible and run smoothly?

Big bug is Recent & Back button does not work. ( Home and Fingerprint work like champion). You can use visual button or assistant menu for back and recent button. I use gestures.
Prerequired
- Unlocked bootloader
- Latest CP/Modem A9100ZCU1AQH1. You can download and flash over ODIN (link download included). Or you can install latest official A9100ZCU1AQH1 rom.
- TWRP installed
- A working brain
Installation
1. Download this ROM
2. Copy to the internal (or sdcard) storage
3. Boot to TWRP
4. Wipe dalvik cache, system, data, cache (If cannot mount data let's format data and reboot to TWRP again)
5. Install my ROM
6. Wipe dalvik cache.
7. Reboot
8. Njoy!
PS: First boot may take a long time to boot (5-7 minutes) So please patient don't interrupt it.

Elite ROM is for the A910F, it works on the A9100 but the back and recent buttons are not operational (as in this ROM).

Using samsung internet browser you can not activate secret mode.
I cannot use fingerprint into apps (banking apps)
I think the problem is the "device state = Custom" due de custom recovery.

Fingerprint works OK to unlock the smartphone, but I can't use fingerprint to login into apps.
Do you kwon this issue? Does it work OK for you?

If you want to use FP to login website or apps you need install Samsung Pass. But Samsung pass do not work with custom recover or rooted phone. My FP work OK with bank apps with out Samsung Pass because my apps support FP

4. Wipe dalvik cache, system, data, cache (If cannot mount data let's format data and reboot to TWRP again)
5. Install my ROM
6. Wipe dalvik cache.
7. Reboot
8. Njoy!
PS: First boot may take a long time to boot (5-7 minutes) So please patient don't interrupt it.

For our dedicated stock users :cyclops:
Since some users had some troubles to make the stock B03 work on latest magisk and have full system permissions, I thought....let's have a look. Main goal was to have this all-in system permission and magisk working
As it remained fully stock with some adaptions, I hope you'll ENJOY !
Modifications :
* full system r/w
* latest magisk 18.0
* removed most unwanted apps and the ability to remove more
* safetynet pass cts in one take
* flash center clock / remove carrier if needed
* added media
* youtube
* adaway
* full working Dolby Atmos
* wifi working...and ofc all the rest
*.....
Installation : NOTE : for those having trouble installing, flash the twrp 3.2.10 with the universal bootstack (don't forget the modem)
1. unlocked, twrp3218 (non-treble) installed (or compatible one for oreo...)
2. flash A2017GV1.3.0B03_BootStack or your preferred Oreo bootstack or the ones from HERE - mind the MODEM !
3. flash A2017X_O_B03_AROMA_SL!M7_DF!NR - check what you want, let it finish. When you want to center clock and remove carrier name : don't reboot yet and flash 4. (mount SYSTEM), otherwise boot
4. so if you want to center clock and remove carrier flash : A2017X_V1.3.0B03_carrier_clockthemer or only the carrier removed
5. wipe dalvik/cache and boot
6. setup phone and reboot again !
7. you should now have a fully working SL!M7

I would do a slim B22 yes but as you know, every 15 to 30 days they come with a new update....so the one I would make would be fast-outdated....we'll see

I've format data partition before installation, and then my phone was not encripted

thanks for this,i love the stock roms.On P4da there is a slim version based on b22.The mifavor firmwares are really good.

I have problem with this rom. After installing it stuck on boot logo. I came from Lineage 16, deleted Vendor partition, format other all and it not help :/. I have Axon A2017G. OFC I used every file provided in this thread (Recovery, Bootstack).

I'm struggling to install this new version of the rom. Flashing the posted TWRP ends up with a non booting recovery.
So I was trying to flash another version of TWRP directly trom twrp.me website (3.2.3-0), this boots but flashing the rom ends up wit non booting system.
Is it necessary to do something as a prerequisite for this rom when changing from SL!M V1.2B10 ?

Great work! Does this by any chance support wifi-calling/VoLTE? I think Unjustified said at one point that those would only work on stock roms, so if those work on this rom that would be amazing.

Dirty flash over my Pie DevBase ROM SHOULD WORK WITHOUT ISSUES but before you try - I would highly recommend you to set default (stock) theme and default (stock) icons !!! However - I would recommend you clean install (Wipe -> Swipe to Factory Reset is enough)
NOTE1: This time it is mandatory to update also bootloader to Q - otherwise ROM will not boot

Do you want to provide dump (e.g. for G960F or a newer version for G965F)?
Please do as follow:
- Make sure OEM unlock is ON
- Flash TWRP but don't let device boot to system after that - use power+bixby+vol_up combo immediately after phone rebooted automatically
- Tap "Keep read only"
- Wipe -> Format data -> "yes"
- Reboot -> Recovery
- Copy attached zip to the device
- Flash it and wait a few minutes
- Copy /sdcard/G960F_dump directory to the PC and compresss it (zip / 7z / rar / etc..)
- Share me and wait for a new Q build
NOTE: DO NOT use Magisk or other boot patchers before you run my zip - I need PURE clean kernel and other images !!! After you run my zip and copy result to PC - you can do what you want

First ROM, then BL (one by one). This order is recommended because BL update forces auto reboot

I just found a major CSC issue in the installer (RC1) while updating device from Pie -> Q, please wait for updated version (RC2) !!! (RC1 worked fine only if your previous ROM was based on Q)
EDIT: Update will be available in less than one hour

CSC just remain from Pie and CscFeatures does not work - you can dirty install RC2 to fix it

I did it myself already (I called it beta 5), but next time I will be glad for help/dump as it is my wife's device - next time she most probably will not give me device for so long :laugh:
