Update!!! Help, URGENT! - Huawei Ascend P7

Hello guys,
My P7 are VERY SLOW, with lots of lag and I want to throw it against the wall..
My current version is P7-L10V100R001C00B135. Please, PLEASE, Help me to update this potato!
Many thanks!

Be careful...
1) Backup your valuable data (media, messages, notes etc)
2) Factory reset from settings menu
3) Download this rom. (you can also check the "HOW TO" there)
4) Store it on your external sd card in a folder named dload (the path should be [ "your external sd" / dload / Update.zip ] )
5) Go to phone update > open menu > local update; there you should be able to see the UPDATE.zip > execute it > done!
... and enjoy your "new" phone

Thnks... but when I reset it from menu it reboot to Team Win recovery.. what should I do?

Anyway... I tried to do Walt you said and when it reboot to update, reboot to tem,win recovery... Lol

That' OTA, for that you need to be on B830, download full firmware package of B839 and flash it normally, extract "dload" on sd card or internal storage and go to updates\local mnu and update. Backup everything you have.

It fails..

How? What does it say?

When I try to flash the zip it simply fails.. or when I follow the instructions to update local it fails again..

You cannot flash the zip, that's why you need to extract "dload" from that zip and put it on sd card or on internal memory.

I do that, then phone reboot and enter to recovery. What should I do next?

Then you go to the update and do local update, and phone should reboot and install that update.

That's what I'm doing since the beginning. I select the local update then phone reboot automatically to recovery...

Yes, and the phone needs to automaticly install the update.

but it doesn't...

Hmm, did you root your phone ? Maybe you can try to do force update, when the phone if turned off, hold Vol up, down and power button for 10-15 seconds and he will be forced to update.

Yes. I tried that but it boots to recovery..

Hmm, then i dont know, i normally updated it from b132 trough local update.

Do you have twrp / cwm recovery on your phone, or is it the original recovery?

Team Win recovery. And now it is stuck on a boot loop! Can someone help me?

[Q] Clean fresh Install OS - Required

Hi..
I was trying to upgrade my samsung galaxy s plus (GT-19001) device to Android 4.0.4.
i just installed CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4 on my device by rebooting and selecting (install zip from sd card).
------using mentioned combination of keys -------
Then i placed the files in my phone's internal SD Card.
files are mentioned below:
1-> cm-9-20121011-ivendor-ariesve-rc5.zip
2-> gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
3-> recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.2-ariesve.zip
then install 1 by choosing from internal SD card and then 2nd file.
my device prompted completion success messages but it took very short time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
now what happened after doing this. my device is displaying same booting screen of CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4 on each re-boot.
i treid many times by unplug the battrey but unfortunately unsuccessfull.
After that i did Wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I tried it through window's based utility Odin v4.43 but it could detect my device usb driver even after success of USB driver installation.
it didn't display Added in message box.
now what should i do ?
i already installed samsung Kies but still undetected.
I tried some old version of Odin 3v1.8 , it detected the port and displayed Added but failed to write ROM on my device.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My desktop machine's OS : windows 8 64 bit enterprise edition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am unable to install new ofor revert back my OS because when i Hold Vol Down + Home + Power, This is not putting me in Download Mode instead Ramdump Mode.
I need your guidence to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance.
Please ask for further details if required.
I'm not sure I got exactly what you did.
1) You installed CWM recovery.
2) You rebooted into recovery.
3) You installed the CM ROM zip.
4) You installed the GApps zip.
5) You rebooted.
Am I right ? And now you only get access to the recovery ?
If you're coming from a GingerBread ROM, this is normal. Simply, re-install the ROM again (and the GApps obviously). If it doesn't work, tell us.

Hi Einril.
I try to summarize in some chunks for better understanding.
=======================================================================================
Hi.
I just started with CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4 and placed all above mentioned files/packages into the device internal SD card.
That's what i did :
1). Entered into the recovery mode menu by holding down Volume Up + Power and installed CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4 zip from the selection of Internal SD Card .
2). After reboot, i came up again in Recovery mode using CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4 application.
3). Now installed cm-9-20121011-ivendor-ariesve-rc5.zip by the navigation of "Install zip from SD".
It took hardly 4 to 5 seconds and displayed a message that it completes . no flash screen or anything came up and reboot.
4). After that installed gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip by the navigation of "Install zip from SD".
It displayed same complete message but within 5 to 8 seconds i think.
5). I Wipe data/cache/Dalvik cache after above step and then again repeat the process.
After that i did Wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition.
Now when i try to start my device then each time it comes into the CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4' s recovery mode.
Ask further please if anything is unclear, i have tried too many things with it but yet not soft bricked.
I am able to switch into Download mode.
Did you try to re-install the ROM from the recovery ? (flash cm-9-20121011-ivendor-ariesve-rc5.zip again)

Hi Erinil,
I think i installed but not sure.
Could you elaborate the re-install ROM steps ?
I tried but same recovery display of CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4, comes again and stay on recovery mode screen.
How my OS will be started?
It might be possible , i am doing something wrong.
Could you enlist the steps?
Ok.
1) Boot into recovery.
2) Wipe data/Factory reset.
3) Wipe cache.
4) Go to Advanced, then wipe Dalvik cache.
5) Go back, go to Mount & Storage, then Format System.
6) Go back, go to Install zip from SD Card => Choose zip from SD Card => cm-9-20121011-ivendor-ariesve-rc5.zip.
7) Do the same thing for the gapps zip.
8) Wipe data/Factory reset again (just to be sure).
9) Reboot.
This, I think, is the cleanest install you can do. Tell me the result.

Einril I tried it same as you explained in steps.
It didn't worked nor display any error during this process.
I think my problem is that. when i start my device it automatically entered into the recovery mode of CWM-based recovery v5.5.0.4..
whether i hold Vol+ and Powerbutton or not, it entered into the recovery mode each reboot.
It might be possible that OS has been installed sucessfull but how the OS will be started now?
Hum, that's strange. You say you can access to Download Mode ? Are you able to flash back the Samsung stock ROM ?
Hi Einril,
What does that mean? Means that Reverting to Gingerbread through Desktop Window OS?
I am unable to revert from my One Laptop (i7 3610 & WIndow 8 - 64 bit) but i am able to revert from my OLD laptop (OS is : window 7 32 bit)
Ok, I heard that some people are having issues with USB drivers on Windows 8. But if you can restore Gingerbread with your old computer, this is great.
Can you try to re-install a stock gingerbread firmware, with re-partition enabled, and then to try again the procedure I gave you ? This way, we are sure that your previous attempts have no effects on the result.
Einril, I have installed stock gingerbread firmware on my device and it is working now.
now guide please how to re-partition? Do you mean using CWM recovery ?
Could you simply enlist the thing which i will have to do now on fresh gingerbread OS?
I 'll tell you today night because right now i am not at home.
Well, if your gingerbread frmware is working, you don't need to repartition.
Now, simply re-install ClockworkMod Recovery, and re-do the whole installation process I gave you. By the way, you said you installed ClockworkMod recovery by flashing a zip in recovery. Isn't it supposed to be a .tar.md5 to flash via Odin ?
Yes i installed ClockworkMode Recovery from recovery mode.
I haven't tried with .tar.md5 using Odin4.43.
I 'll try with both throught Clockworkmode and Odin.
In fact i have tried many time 2-3 months ago too through TeamWin Recovery . problem was same.
It didn't start my OS instead displaying its recovery screen and operations.
i tried but all in vain.
Couldn;t be successful.
it just start from CWM recovery mode and so. not switching into the other mode.

Need more info. Format type of internal SD? Drivers? OS? Etc...
Thank you for your reply. Are the above links given to give me a hand (stupid question certainly)?
Well, I am going to try to repair my tablet with a new SD card. But I need help right from the start.
Living in France, I suppose the right firmware must start with WW. I have downloaded all these firwares from Asus:
UL-K00C-WW-11.4.1.27-user.zip, UL-K00C-WW-11.4.1.29-user.zip, UL-K00C-WW-11.4.1.30-user.zip, WW_10_26_1_18_SDupdate.zip, WW_epaduser_10_14_1_47_UpdateLauncher.zip, WW_epaduser_V11_4_1_17_updatelauncher.zip.
Which one should I use? What am I going to do next?
When I start it in flashboot mode, I get the message "Android Macallan-user BL released by "WW_epad_11.4.1.30-20150121"
Press ...
Starting fastboot USB download protocol"

Well you should use the latest one which is UL-K00C-WW-11.4.1.30-user.zip
I'm not sure what you are attempting to do? Are you saying that your internal data is not working or just not recognised by windows. If the later you probably just need to update your drivers on windows.
Have a search for the latest compatible windows ones for Asus.
my tablet is stuck in boot process. I did something wrong when deleting built-in apps, so I have to make a recovery.
I made some progress in the meantime. Connected the tablet to the PC, put the CWM boot.img in the fastboot folder, put Asus UL-K00C-WW-11.1.4.30 firmware on the SD card, started fatboot.exe and got the menu on the tablet (reboot system now - install zip - wipe data partition - ...), started install.zip.
Now I get the message "This package is for KOOC; this is a tf701t. Error in storage/USBdisk1h/ul-KOOC-11.4.1.30-user.zip.Installation aborted

This procedure did not work. However I have installed CyanogenMod with the Cyanogen recovery on the tablet and finally coud boot. Now I would like to go back to the Asus settings. How can I do this? The Asus UL-K00C-WW-11.1.4.30 firmware, as I said before, is followed by the message "This package is for K00C; this is a tf701t.", but the tablet appears as K00c in My Computer. Different names, same device!

Did you rename the stock firmware zip file to T4_SDUPDATE.zip and put the zip firmware file on the root of the EXTERNAL SD card and power on or restart your device. it should detect a firmware update. if it does not detect any firmware update after about 1 or 2 minutes or it boots normally, go into bootloader and select RCK from the menu with zip file on the external sd card.
it sounds like you were trying to install the stock firmware zip file through the custom recovery install zip option which will not work. TF701T is KOOC... also, make sure 100% that your Tablet is the WW version and not the TW or US version!

The zip firmware file was on the root of the EXTERNAL SD card. I did go into bootloader and select RCK from the menu, then install zip file --choose zip from /storage /USB disk1h -- T4_SDUPDATE.zip.
I am going to try the other versions of the firmware.

okay, since you have a custom recovery the zip file is not detected. CM and CWM recovery are not the same. you should be able to find an installable stock file somewhere or try another rom. As long as you have a working recovery installed then you should be good to go for any updates.
This is your best bet for near stock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf701/development/rom-t2999102

Help needed with update

I had my phone rooted and recieved the 188 update but for some reason update was giving an error when updating so I unroot and did a factory reset but the problem is still not solved, I cannot make the update. Any ideias for a solution ?
Upload update.zip to take look.
Where do I get it?
Open the internal memory and look for folder OTA or OTA_dload or something like this then upload it somewhere I recommend mega or google drive
The folder dload_OTA is empty inside...
I think the problem is the root. I cannot unroot it properly so it doesnt update..
In mine OTA file "update.zip" is located in the folder "HwOUC"
Well I cannot post the link to my update cuz I need at least 10 posts -.-
Send link by PM @sokkoban
So I update the B188
How do I did it
1. Make full unroot and reverse to original recovery if you install TWRP
2. Make Hard Reset(Wipe cache and partition) twice!!!
3. Copy the update.zip into folder dload into internal memory
4. Install as local update!

What recovery is he using? twrp or recovery?
To help some more informations would be great to make shure he won t brick his phone there are also other options like installing twrp and flash a custom rom aso...
I think you talk about recovering your phone? And not the recovery partition?
What is your current build, and what are you trying to recover to? You probably just have to find the right ROM for it to work.

Motorola XT1068 + TWRP 3.0.2.0 - Warning "No OS Installed" + could be found from adb
Hi,
I want to sell my rooted motorola moto g2 XT1068. I tried delete it and do a factory reset so clicked at twrp to "Wide > Advanced Wipe" and choose all partitions (I think this was a failure) and after that on "Swipe to Factory Reset".
But when I reboot I get the message "No OS Installed!"
I tried to install adb. But it doesn't find any device on my pc. I also installed the motorola driver, but windows can't the my mobile.
What can I do now? I have downloaded the firmware from firmware.center, but how can I install it?
I would be really grateful for your help!
Imagine you restarted your PC to old DOS, formatted it and then tried to start Windows normally - how could you, since you erased everything?
On computers, you would need a CD with the system installing package.
For mobile phones, you need to copy the stock ROM or other custom ROMs for Titan AND proper Gapps on a SD card, insert it in your Moto, enter TWRP recovery and install the two zip files from the external storage card.
If your first run is successful, do not enter your data when asked by the Google wizard and never erase your phone again if you don't have a replacement system prepared.
I loaded the following-Zip Files on my MicroSD Card:
-open_gapps-arm-6.0-stock-20170825.zip
-crDroidAndroid-7.1.2-20170814-titan-v3.7.zip
But when I put the SD-Card into my motorla and go to recovery ond open the sd-card it shows me and empty MicroSD Card (30420MB) but the MicroSD-Card has a size of 28.7GB (free) and 0.98GB (full).
So what can I do now?
Is this the correct custom file?
How could I install it now?
Should I mound the MicroSD-Card?
The open_gapps are wrong. On their page, check the Android 7.1 box, then MINI and THEN hit the red download button. Move the card into a working phone (or computer), delete the gapps for Android 6, add the new ones, for 7.1 Nougat, then place the micro card back into the target phone.
In TWRP, go to Install -» Select Storage [or browse "Up A Level" to] sdcard1 -» [the folder where you placed the zips or] select crDroid...zip FIRST -» Flash it, then repeat to flash the open_gapps...zip, then REBOOT.
It'll take a few minutes - from 5 to 10 or even more, so have patience.
Thank you for your answer!
I have downloaded the new open_gapps zip file as you said. And replaced the old version on my sd card. Then I put the micro sd card in my motorola as you said. But I couldn't find it over TWRP. I also tried to mounted the micro sd card, but it doesn't help.
Then I tried to restart with the MicroSD-Card, but now I can't reach the TWRP again
Here is the screenshot https://ibb.co/ekCGBk and I tried the different items, but everytime I see the page "warning bootloader unlocked"
Yes, this is how it should look.
Press Volume Key DOWN, you'll reach RECOVERY, then press Volume Key UP to select Recovery.
Recovery = TWRP.
Once in TWRP, hit Install and browse for your zip files to install them.
Also when I go to "Recovery" only the white
"Warning Bootloader Unlocked"-Page is opening
Well, that's not good. Probably all that unnecessary mounting screwed up things.
Take a look at this video.
Then download latest Moto USB drivers.
Then learn about the ADB and Fastboot tool.
Then maybe try to flash the latest TWRP for Titan and restore everything already to how it should be.
I can't reach the phone with fastboot and I can't delete the bootloader warning. But suddenly I could installed the two image filles! Now the new firmware is working.
Is there a possibility to get the original one from motorola?
I also tried to put the "FixBootloaderWarning-Moto-G-2014.zip" on my sd-card to install it over TWRP, but I can't open it (I can only get a black screen when I choose "Recovery")-
