here is an deodexed Stock ROM for the GT-N8010 included CSC "XA" (Germany and others) or requestet ROMs. It is full Stock, i have no Apps removed or changed or added (only SuperSU). He based on Samsung Official ROM and is deodexed, rooted, ZigAlign and BusyBox is installed. So the ROM supports the S-PEN and all Samsung Applications included...
Feel free for using this ROM for any modding please only give a link to this thread!
Please do not install any OTAs on this ROM if you get one.... I will customize all new software versions and posted here.

What do you need:

How to flash:
ROM downloaded
N8010-xxxx-xxxx-DBT-deodexed.zip push to your Note 10.1
boot in the CWM
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP!
a full wipe is absolutely necessary
Cache and Dalvik Cache wipe
install ROM over CWM (wait a few minutes)
you dont needed to install any GApps (all GApps included in the ROM)
reboot your Device (the first boot can take a little bit more time)

I have a galaxy tab and it serves very well. The reason why I bought another tab note because of using chinese handwriting. So I want to make a request if not bothering you, can you also make a version of N8010ZSALI1? It can be found in sammobile with the country select "Taiwan".

It is possible if i get the original ROM ... but on sammobile.com i get no N8013 Firmeware....
Do you know where i can find the N8013 Flash Files for Odin? Then i can make a deodexed ROM for the N8013
hey, thanks for this, my first ever root
but i did it slightly wrong, i was using a different method as i didnt really understand your write up, so after i installed CWM i forgot to wipe the device or back up any files before flashing the device
to my suprise everything went well and i managed to root it and all my settings/files/apps etc remain working perfectly
no idea if i was just lucky
Also skipped the full wipe. All apps and data still here. Sometimes it helps being lazy!

Hi just a quick Question , I have a Australian 8010 with N8010XWALG4 you reckon i could flash this (its already rooted) however i have not ever updated the unit , i would like to use this if its had that one update that came through. My question again if i place this on my internal card and flashed with CWM would it work ? ( I have made a nandroid backup just in case) How reliable are the Nandroid backups if things go pear shape?

Annoying hotfile
Why the hell would use the freaking annoying hotfile? After every single download( & even failed ones!!!!!) wait 30 mins to start again. Why the hell don't you guys use something like mediafire.com?
This Rom is an update for Stock Rom for all GSM non Verizon users with more new locales and relative languages.

no one: during installation the installer checks everything is ok and stop installation in case of problem
Advice post-installation:
- ATTENTION: the version for JB automatically performs a factory reset at first install
- After installing the ROM to optimize the GSM go into the hidden menu Testing typing the code *#*#4636#*#* and you have to make sure that the rom has set and otherwise you have to set: Phone info -> Set prefered network type -> GSM auto (PRL)
- After installing the Rom you can uninstall Safestrap and have a full working stock rom for GSM/UMTS in your locale. To remove SafeStrap you have to reinstall the app, then you have to uninstall the recovery and finally you can remove SafeStrap

Out of interest, what was the MMS problem? I still can't send or receive MMS messages using the stock app (but I can using Handcent). I wondered if your solution could be applied to stock.

Which previous one ? If u mean the one i posted in my kernel thread then not much ... before it was based on Ukraine rom, and now on Russia La fleur version, updated ramdisk and updated SuperSu and su, removed la fleur apps / cache
Other then that, nothing
I will make a new version when some XXU* ( european ) version will come from samsung

SilviuMik, I have I9192 s4 mini duos from India, i made custom rom using kitchen, every thing works fine i am able to install without any issue using cwm recovery, only issue is no base-band and network related things like bluetooth wifi display toggle working.. i have de-odex, zipalined all apks and added few mods.. every thing works perfect. only network not visible.also i tried to flash back the modem.img which i took backup before flashing my custom rom. still it dont show up. I have made my cwm backup so when restored all works back without any issue. so any thought or input to make network work on the custom rom i made. mine is knox boot loader 0x0 even after root and installed kernel which c0bain created one for I9192, and Philz touch recovery all works fine.
I am on I9192DDU1BML1 stock rom with all the boalt wares removed. any one looking for email app for your office exchange emails without pin to un lock the screen i have it. i have used the same methode which i did in my S2.

Also one more thing SilviuMik do you have Android PIT file so that i will try to flash a rom without on Knox boot loader and then install the BML1 without boot loader as per one of the doc to remove it from stock rom .

Does your baseband get updated when u flash it with Odin ?
Take care usually u need to flash it 2 3 times
It also sometimes depends on what tz.mbn u used in combo with NON-HLOS
Try to extract modem from stock firmware and tar + md5 it and flash it 2 3 times with Odin. Then your wifi should work
Let me know how it goes

Thankyou for reply, okay tonight i will try to tar + md5 the existing modem i have and flash via Odin. Also by any chance do you have pit file for I9192, so that i am plannning to remove my knox boot loader along with old firmware and then may be future glitches will be out to install all other cynogen or CM11 roms.

Well i have posted one time about a pit file that i took from Efs professional when i saved my Efs but can`t seem to find my post.
I am also not sure if that pit file can be used with Odin
When i get home i will reupload it

Here is the pit i have, as i said earlier it is made using Efs professional NO IDEEA if it will work with Odin
And i think u can`t remove Knox bootloader this way
As i read u need a Z3x Box and some other things to remove Knox bootloader

I installed the ML4 rom and noticed the battery drain is related to how I set up the SIM cards.
If I enable both SIM cards, the mobile network signal shown under Setting>Battery is fine (continuously green)
However if I only enable SIM 1 but disable SIM 2, the cell standby consumption is high and the mobile network signal turns red
If I only insert SIM 1 and remove SIM 2 from the phone, the mobile network signal is green again
I found it the same with MK4 rom. Is this a normal behaviour? I have imagined that disabling one SIM card should lower the battery drain but it is not. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you.

along with some fixes that have been shared in back to noot thread
For anyone that don't know what Back to noot is, its a Stock Samsung Rom based on Kitkat 4.4.4
I haven't done a lot here just merged the 2 projects using alexndr's dev base
so it at be a little rough as of now, mostly the odd typo here and there,
the csc packages are form a 4.3 stock rom, I was a little concerned about this
but I find it works, and that's all I wanted. so it don't appear to be a problem as far as I know.

having the correct CSC Package for your Region does help in various ways, look it up, for me it gave back call forwarding and call barring options, that were missing before.

- Multi CSC - 22 Europe available - select one you need
or keep current csc, (but if coming from back to not rom this will keep the Korean csc that came with it)
- also some extra csc options
- telephony fixes, all these are currently packaged together
these are Non korean dialer, System UI.apk, mms_blue.apk and other relevant files, 3G, H and H+ icons etc..etc..
also if any fixes are selected it will wipe cache/dalvik for you

so how to install this you ask?
it is wise to do a full nandroid backup, and EFS partition backup, you should do this, trust me, look into it.
and move important items from your internal sd to external sd just in case.
- Download the Rom from below to your SD Card
- fire up your CWM or TWRP Recovery, and you should do a wipe data/factory reset
- select install zip from sd card, and aroma should run and install
Aroma options are.

ROM Base - this is back to n00t rom and should be selected
Safe De Bloat - this will remove preload apps , Chaton, google vids, gmail, just stuff that you can get from playstore
wipe Data - wipes Cache / Dalvik - I do it manually myself

question: anyone using back to noot rom, do you have trouble with bluetooth, is it, the calls or music audio that was the problem
the bluetooth calls work for me on this, but haven't tried music audio.

Boeffla kernel 7.2 is very stable on this ROM. I do recommend that kernel on this ROM.
So install it if you want. I use it myself
If lord boeffla gives the go ahead to add it in to aroma option, I may do that.

Not really, i don't tolerate apps with ADS so i uninstalled it. And i'm not paying that much for a simple info app.

Not really simple. And not just a info it is all-in-one tools for Samsung devices.
Regarding ppi, I believe you meant dpi, which can be changed from rom to rom and can also be changed by modifying some settings.
Anyway thanks for trying it.
